I rented from this place March 10, 2021. I rented a power wheelchair that would elevate and recline. The cushion in the chair was so bad that it would tip me out of the chair. I called to let them know this was not working for me. Their customer service agent was extremely rude. She sent a technician to look at it and he was very rude. I tried to explain to him what was going on and he told me I just needed to put air in the cushion. No one told me the cushion needed air. I could not get the chair to elevate. He brought a regular power wheelchair. It was old..I asked if they were going to credit me the difference between the chair that would elevate and recline at the regular chair, and was rudely told that it was the charge to come and look at the chair was would be the difference. And if I didn’t like it he would take both of them. I The regular chair, and the first day I used it, The battery went dead after 30 minutes. I plugged it in overnight, and the next day it went dead after 30 minutes. The chair was old squeaky and failed to keep a charge. I would never rent from this company!!BEWARE!!They have never contacted me to make amends

Rented a fold away bed, and the service was very professional. They helped me get the best rate for the length of time I needed it, they called ahead and stuck to the delivery and pick-up times they had announced. The personnel was very helpful. Very pleased with their service!

Ive used Family Rentals several times over the past 3 years. Great customer service and they seem to have everything you can think of. Recently I rented two massage tables. They were very comfortable and sturdy. Really heavy though (for one woman of average strength to carry) so next time I need one Ill have it delivered because their delivery fee is reasonable.

Family Rentals was amazing to my family and help make our most recent family vacation a success. I got a panicked call from my sis (5 hours before the cruise) stating the wheelchair she thought was good to use for my Mom, for the cruise was not at all suitable, and was now sitting at the airport, in a trash dumpster at the Philly airport. She was boarding a plane and would be needing a wheelchair when we met her at Port Everglades Cruise Terminal. We called Family Rentals, they jumped into action and had a wheel chair to us in time and ready to go for the trip. Your staff was courteous, met us right at the door for the cruise terminal, and then was an easy return when we got back. I am so grateful for you and your awesome customer service! I thought it was a long shot (early on a Sunday Morning) that I could locate something so quickly--but Family Rentals came through!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

If you are travelling to Florida with kids and want to rent life vest for kids instead if packing them in your luggage, this is the place to go. You can pick them up from their locations for $9/week or they can deliver to your hotel (for about $40 on top of rental fee). Very convenient. They also rent all sorts of other toys and medical equipment.

Great staff! Rented my mom a scooter chair. She loved it and it made her vacation much more vacation !

I rent a scooter from them for about over a month then give it back then they told me thats not there charger for the scooter but that was the charger they give meAnd thats the charger I been using for the scooterAnd it work perfectly I really didnt understand the problem cause the charger does work ? Then 3 days later they charge me $150 out of no whereWithout even telling me. for the charger that works perfectly? And they are really mean to there employees it just feels every uncomfortableHearing them get mad at they employeesRight in front of you every unprofessionalWill never do business with them again

Great staff everything under the sun that you can rent

Horrible service, disgustingly old medical equipment that does not work. They call you at 8:15 in the morning to tell you they will be there the next day at 9AM - that I will be the 2nd pickup of the day. It is now 1:20 in the afternoon and I am still stuck here waiting for them. Chair was broken, bed was broken - never again, never again.

Bad customer service. I rented some chairs for a party. Someone said shed call me the night before but she never did and when I call the next morning, not only did they mistook what I said and never gave me a chance to explain myself, another lady was talking so rude to me and hung up before I finished saying have a good day. Just pure bad customer service
