Extremely unprofessional!I got a phone call from the owner right after I spoke to the agent that took my service request for a second running toilet. She raised her voice and insisted that I shut up and listen to her (chastise me) over a mistake in the description of a past request. So which toilet is it this time and you need to read the work order and make the necessary corrections! The service tech new which bathroom he fixed, but Im responsible for checking his work order!I have paid them over $550 in the last year for service and have had 2 toilet problems, which I didnt think was such a big deal to fix!I have been a manager in customer service for over 40 years and I would never treat a customer the way she treated me.Disgusting behavior on the part of the owner. God help them for they dont deserve to have any contact with decent paying customers in need of assistance.Rude, obnoxious and down right nasty is how I would describe this customer service!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. A shoddy repair of a leaking fridge resulted in in a burst water line which flooded the kitchen. This caused $4,000 in damages and repair to the floor. Atlas said they were not responsible and when I tried to cancel the service contract they wanted to charge me a fee. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That is generally a waste of time since they usually side with the service provider.

I worked for this company and Kim the owner is refusing to verify my employment so I can buy a home. Im a disabled veteran and this is how they really treat people. They dont fix, just sell and lie to the elderly. If my employment isnt verified, Ill be taking sworn statements from other former employees who will verify everything wrong this company does to the city and lawsuits will be filed.

A truly terrible company. My 90 year old grandmother called them because her AC broke in the middle of summer, and she already had a maintenance contract with them. The tech comes by, says the AC is broken and needs to be replaced. Almost no investigation was done to make sure of this, he just declares it, says a sales rep will come by in a few hours, and then drives offA few hours later I come by to meet the sales rep, Bruce. Hes an older gentleman with white hair, and at first I got a really good vibe from him. He takes some time to look around, takes some measurements, and then gets to his sales pitch. Its a full on used-car-salesman type presentation/pitch. Telling me the AC is too small and needs to be upsized, the entire stand the air handler is on needs to be replaced, how amazing their company is because they are licensed and insured (oh boy!) and lots of other nonsense. The biggest lie was that because this was an older unit with outdated R-22 refrigerant, its illegal to recharge these units. I happen to work as an engineer in building construction, and am familiar with HVAC design. I am aware that this was a total lie. AC units with old R-22 refrigerant are absolutely allowed to be repaired and recharged. Companies just cant install new ones. He was flat out lying.Finally hes done, and he gives the price: almost $11k to switch out a 3.5 ton for a new 4 ton AC. I tell him no way, its way too much. He begins his car salesman tactics of well I like your grandma, so lets see what I can do and oh boy, the manager is not gonna be happy with this, but lets see if I can do a little more. After a back and forth, and his refusal to take hints to leave, he gives his final price of around $8k for a 4 ton system, but ONLY of we buy right now. Im saying around $8k because he refused to leave any of his estimates with us, so I dont have the exact numbers. I tell him this is a lot of money, and a whole lot more than we were expecting, and we need time to think about this and get a second estimate. He gets upset, refuses to leave the estimate, and starts throwing a temper tantrum because were not going to buy from him right this second. I had to tell him to leave, and he whines and complains the whole way out. The whole experience was absolutely ridiculous, but his refusal to accept that we werent going to make a suspiciously expensive purchase on the spot was totally unprofessional. Clearly their business model is in getting to you before other companies and overcharging you, rather than trying to sell a quality service. What kind of a residential AC company actually has salesmen, anyway?I then call a different AC company that comes an hour later and recharges the system with refrigerant. He says the pressure levels are stable but hell be back in a few days and see where its at and check for leaks. He charges $125 for the repair. A week later and after a promising follow-up visit, the AC is still blowing cold. Atlas tried charging ~$10k for a brand new unit to a 90 year old woman in the middle of summer, that another company charged $125 to fix. Avoid this company, and certainly avoid their used car salesman Bruce.By the way, an AC replacement should be more in the ballpark of $4-5k. Not $10k. Total scammers.

I live in a condo and the unit on the second floor was destroyed by the workers. They set off their sprinkler system which is asteroid the apartment on the first floor. The person just moved into the unit 3 weeks ago. Welcome to Florida.

First rate service! The technicians are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. My A/C went out in my house late at night. I called Atlas Mechanical and the technician came out to my house and he got my A/C up and running in no time at all. They are reasonably priced and prompt service. I will be scheduling my routine maintenance with this company from now on. Extremely satisfied customer! I would recommend this company to anyone who has an A/C issue or needs routine maintenance.

Do not use this company. I have an Annual Service Agreement with this company expiring 08/01/2020. My dishwasher broke down and I made a claim on 07/27/2020. Owner of company said part available on 07/31/2020. This is while contract is effective but owner refused to do work unless I renew contract.

Wish our father-in-law (was 80 when he asked this place to replace his interior A/C unit in 2013) could have read these reviews before he did business with them. Same story as most of the other clients here...Swindling an elderly man by not ensuring the warranty card was filled out and sent in, and then hiding behind that sleight-of-hand technicality when the coil goes bad as an excuse not to stand behind the product and install. Then they added insult to injury by only offering a $350 concession on a $3000 coil replacement job that we ultimately got done with another company for $1200 all in. Just to be safe, wed recommend staying out of their entire zip code.

My husband and I unexpectedly had our air conditioner stop working. While I didn’t have a formal referral from any friends or family- I have seen many Atlas Mechanical trucks in our development so I decided to give them a call. Our technician did a great job surveying the issue and explaining the options we have going forward. My husband loved how respectful they were of our house by using shoe booties anytime they entered our home. With the Florida heat increasing, we are very happy with the service we received. Atlas Mechanical has serviced my system for three years now never once missed an appointment. This time I needed a new air conditioner and they worked with me to figure out the best one for my home and the best value for my dollar. I appreciate the work they do. Everything was completed on time on schedule and at the cost quoted.

We would like to stress our total dissatisfaction with an ‘Emergency Sunday A/C Service promise’ that has to be only called in to obtain it during Normal Business hours. When you need emergency weekend Air Conditioning service & you have no working air conditioning in your house in the Florida summer heat, one is expecting to get an emergency operator if it is after normal business hours. Emergencies do not always happen before 3pm on a Saturday or from 9-5 during the week! The emergency Sunday service offer is deceptive and false if it can not be called in for after normal business hours. Our A/C completely stopped working at 5pm on a Saturday, and we left 4 messages (on the Altas answering machine) on both Saturday and Sunday saying that we wanted the emergency Sunday A/C repair service as promised when we signed up. There was no emergency operator or answering service with a person. Just an answering machine where no one responds until normal business hours. Also, very strange to be asked by the Supervisor on Monday when we complained about this why we would call another company to give us the emergency service Altas had no ability to provide because our emergency started after 3pm on Saturday. The supervisor, Kimberly Helton did not understand why we needed to call another company to fix the issue. She said she had no idea why we would call another company that did provide emergency service to fix our air conditioning. She was baffled why we did not want to wait in the heat for days until normal business hours. It was literally close to 90 degrees in our house by Sunday morning, yet Kimberly could not understand why we needed to pay another company with actual Sunday emergency services (with a real person answering the phone to arrange the Sunday emergency service) to fix the A/C instead of waiting for Atlas Mechanical Services to open on Monday to first arrange an actual appointment. ***Also, very disturbing that we are unable to remove A/C from our contract upon becoming aware of this deceptive impossible to arrange weekend emergency A/C Sunday service because we paid for our full year Altas contract 1 month early. We are now stuck with this incomplete service that does NOT have usable emergency Sunday service unless we know of the emergency during normal business hours...crazy and totally nor real life workable - just plain deceptive advertising of an unusable benefit!!!! ***Again, we would ask to be able to remove A/C from THIS YEARS contract and be REFUNDED for the money paid THIS YEAR as we have been paying for a service with a fake unobtainable emergency hours service. There is no emergency operator or emergency answering service after 3pm Saturday to request the emergency Sunday service.***

Extremely disappointed in this company! We received a new AC unit from this company on 1/8/20. Now three weeks later, we have noticed multiple things that were damaged during the installation. The closet door was broken, a gouge was left in our wall, and one of our sprinkler heads were broken off. I called the company today to see what can be done but was essentially told that we’re screwed because I didn’t call within 24 hours. I was also told “if it was my house, I would have immediately noticed the damages and called right away”. Well good for you, I’m glad you have an abundance of time on your hands. Thank you for taking a large amount of money from me, thank you for damaging my home, and thank you for your terrible customer service. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Don’t even think about using this company I had them for years and every time I called for service for them to do something it was always more money . They Always found a loop hole They did not honor their AC contract we purchased from them and we thought it was on warrantee for 10 years at eight years now it’ finally broke down after many times of having to have it fixed by outside contractors Now the com presser went which was supposed to be covered for 10 years and they did not honor their Contract saying that I was supposed to call to get it registered they sold it to me they installed it and they gave me their Atlas contract and would not cover or honor their contract , they did that with every appliance that I would call them about they would say it’s not covered. Save yourself a lot of money and don’t use them they are not a reputable company.

Atlas mechanical arrives on time and does the work however, they will charge you up to 300 percent mark up. The customer service is terrible and get defensive when you remind them of their price gouging. After two months of contract, I decided to cancel my contract -- I only had two service calls during my contract and I paid 134.00 dollars for a A/C capacitor that you can get from amazon for 40.00 dollars. My refund: 26.00 dollars from an almost 600.00 dollars contract.I never write reviews, but this has been too much already for me not to… The intention of this review is just an awareness to others so they will not be taken for a RIDE as I was. Please read other reviews and think twice before signing a contract with them.

Look out for the big con here. The coverage is grossly misrepresented. I had replacement coverage on the dishwasher. They came out five times to repair it without any result. They dragged out the process until the contract expired and then insisted it be renewed before they would replace it. Then upon renewal they refused to cover it claiming it couldnt be covered in the renewal. Rip off artist extraordinaires. You were now warned, proceed at your own risk.

Im fairly handy with electrical but my prior electrician had really messed my system up. Atlas Mechanical came out, was able to diagnose what went wrong and fixed and enhanced our electrical! I highly recommend these guys!

This year was the worst for my home with AtlasSpoke to the owners wife on service and she gaveMe the run around. Not only was she nasty to me every time I called they blocked my service contract.Friday I came home my air condition was brokeAnd I was told by the person that answered the phone that no one could come out till Monday andHe couldn’t reach the owner to unblock my contractWith them. The temperature outside was 93 degrees.I called another A/C company they came out the following morning and found my A/C was out of freeon, plus they were out 6 months ago and supposedly serviced my unit.

Was having trouble with our central AC and called another company for a solution. After waiting a week the person sent, spending maybe 15 minutes, couldnt find anything wrong and suggested I was setting the thermostat too low and over-taxing the unit. Problem continued. Called Atlas Mechanical, they sent someone out within two days (in prime season), let me know fees up front, and sent someone who, without milking the job at all, took the time to figure out the problem. The worst company when I signed contract they said ever thing cover part and labor plus replacement but never say they cover parts only for first $100.00 and any time come for service they ask for payment and when the come like their plummer he does not want to do the work and give you any excuse not to replace faulty toilet water pump 3 times he came in 2 months but no result to get the job done. then I still have 7 days remain on my contract but they cancel my 2 appointment i had today for A/C and toilet again and when they did not show I called to find out why they did not show for A/C mr Joe very rude tell you are not going to renew which I was planing to do next week the cancel all appointment and cancel my contract which I still have 1 week left he says he does not care that the way is until i renew with them for most of service call was not done right . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. They are fraud. They set up an appointment and their technician failed to show and then they wanted to charge $95 for their NO SHOW. I fixed the dryer door catch myself without paying them $95.Their technician cannot fix anything. Instead of fixing our refrigerator, he caused flooding in the kitchen. I had to buy a new Cooktop because they could not fix it. Their customer representative, or person who answers their phone was insulting to me and my wife. I definitely cancelled my contract with them.Also, they are SO FRAUD that when they changed their address and name to ATLAS SERVICES, they failed to let their customer know.

Atlas refused to honor my 2 residential contracts. Simply placed a call for service and was told your accounts are FLAGGED for NO service and could not get any explanation. I was told you need to speak with the owner KIMBERLY GROSSMAN. After multiple phone calls and countless emails going unanswered by Kimberly Grossman to find out why because there was never any verbal or written communication about this I tried to cancel my contracts by sending emailed letters but those went unanswered as well. Almost 6 months later I got a check for a couple of hundred dollars but it was returned by the bank as worthless. Good luck to anyone using ATLAS you will get ripped off.

I’ve had a number of issues suddenly occur in my home that were plumbing and HVAC related. As a single female, I completely trust Atlas Mechanical’s professionals to serve my needs.

I had Atlas Service install two air conditioning units at my house no more than 2 months ago. One of the systems is not cooling properly. When I called them to have them honor their 1-year labor warranty per our contract, the owners wife, Kimberly, told me that Freon and leaks were not included under warranty. Her demeanor was very patronizing and demeaning. She tried to use the I am the owner, so there is no one higher you can talk to card. I am amazed at how a business owner can shove off a customer that just had 2 systems installed and not honor their warranty. She insisted their workers did a good installation and that the systems were left in good working order and they would not come out to assess the situation. What good is a 1-year warranty on labor if they won’t honor beyond the installation date. Terrible, terrible customer service.Furthermore, this is not the first time I have had issues with this vendor or one of their sister companies. Twice before they have tried to upcharge or upsell me after getting a bonafide quote from them, claiming misc bogus added service, feature or scope was not included in their quote. I would not do business with this company or their sister company Blue Air Mechanical in the future. Im now having to call another company to come out and check their shoddy work and expectedly will be informed it was a bad quality install.

Atlas SERVICE not atlas MECHANICAL. atlas SERVICE chanced their name to the fairytale name atlas MECHANICAL and did not register it with the Florida Division of Corporations. Look at the name on the vehicle that shows up at your house and see what it says before going through with it. They make you sign stating they are not responsible for any damage done during the service call. Not saying much for their help. They damage something you pay.

I was an office mgr for atlas for couple years.years back.im telling you from an employee stand point and from seeing things 1st hand and from behind the scenes...DO NOT do business with this company.they dont pay an of there vendors...even the gas company who fuels the techs trucks..accounting was a nightmare because it was more like collections.vendors were calling ever day for payments that they werent getting...it was the craziest thing ive ever experienced..they tell their customer services to sell contracts and charge charge charge.even when they shouldnt charge.i promise you! The owner kimberly grossman is exactly what her name is ..gross and is the worst person ive ever encountered in my life! She lies n steals not only from her customers but her staff...we were on pins and needles every week praying we would get our checks and that we could deposit them! She is racist...she turned against me because i wouldnt fire a black woman..i told her she was a good employee and there was no reason to fire her..so i wouldnt fire her but she eventually did! She talked and made fun of black people and many different nationalities.. i eventually walked out because i couldnt take her craziness and abuse anymore and of course she never payed me my final 2 week check...i could tell u stories and scams that she did that would make your head spin! And will do it with a smile and lie through her teeth...really a sick individual..Take my advice...call anyone else but this company for service..ill save you alot of time, money and aggravation! FRAUDULENT SERVICES, they re-opened under a new name because of poor service. Was Atlas Service is now Atlas Mechanical, not trustworthy and big staff turnover.

The worse company. Do not use them, the only thing the owner does is take your money. They send people for service calls and IF they show up they dont actually fix anything. They write fraudulent quotes without even opening the AC unit!! Dont use them, they owner is the worst business woman.

Another day another court proceeding. Today was mediation. When does this scam company not go to court or have to answer an interrogatory, an admission, answer a motion or enter a motion. You should rent space at the court house to save time.

I had an emergency - small by some standards - no matter - ATLAS MECHANICAL was super, fixed it all. Water stopped running Yipee!

Atlas MECHANICAL is not registered with the state of florida on congress ave in deray beach.This is atlas SERVICECheck the palm beach county public court records. Enter atlas service and see the pages of lawsuits.I guess this is why a business would use an unregistered name.
