Pretty good salon staff, experienced, and friendly. I recommend them.

Most of the girls there are very understanding and patience with my kids out of my 4 , 2 just wont sit still and or they ask lots of questions . They have their ways to make the feel calm 🤷‍♀️In the years of going here only 3 times Ive had an unpleasant experience but nothing so bad that could prevent me from going back

Great barber shop located inside Walmart. Yes the wait can be long on Sundays but you can make a reservation online! Then just go at your reserved time and you’ll be taken care of in no time. I waited for less than 10min on a busy Sunday after checking in with the register. The staff here are also very cordial. I had a simple shave so didn’t take too long and they did a great job.Will definitely come back again with a reservation! Keep up the good work SmartStyle!

I was just here a few minutes ago. If I could give this salon a rating of 10, i would. Had an appointment for hair balayage at 12noon with Jessica but I was late for about 5-10mins. When I got there, I suddenly experienced some cramps I didnt show at first but I asked Jessica for some water. It came to the point where I had to go to the pharmacy to get something to relieve the pain. Jessica was with me the entire time. We were supposed to end at around 4pm but because of my pain, we had to end it. Jessica offered to finish my hair on monday if my cramps dont get better. I just had to pay today for the bleach but thats it. I know salons earn based on how many clients come in. But Jessica didnt mind about the fact that we had to cut our appointment short. Shes supportive and genuinely concerned not just about work stuff related, but her clients well-being. She ended up driving me home because I couldnt drive. Kuddos to this salon for having such a talented, caring, and amazing employee/stylist.

Made an appointment for 1:45 and ended up waiting a whole hour to finally be seen. The haircut itself was adequate but nothing special. They really get you on the price. Paid $53(including tip) for 2 men’s haircuts. They marked it as specialty because I asked for a taper. So if you’re not planning to get a bowl cut plan to pay more money. Not coming back here again.

Made an appointment online at 10:00 for a 12:30 haircut. Registered at the front when I got there at 12:28, waited for 30 minutes before I gave up and walked out. I was not even a walk-in and they had me waiting for that long. Very upset

I asked for a blow-dry and she charged me for a full style. But she never bothered to ask how I would like it styled. I had to go home and restyle my hair to my liking. Total rip off.

Christy did a great job cutting my hair. She was so sweet and friendly. She made the overall experience pleasant!

My experiences there have always been really good. The stylist that always cuts the family’s hair is Vilma and if you want color, I highly recommend Alejandra. I can’t say anything about the other stylists there because I don’t know how they work. Also, they don’t have a receptionist so they might not be able to answer all of your questions through phone.

They make alright Haircuts, the ladys over there were real kind and respectful, other than that, its nice to just comforbaly walk in to get what is needed : ) For what I can remember, Christy did an amazing job!

Worst experience and haircut ever. My hair looks like someone blind cut it, and they scammed me. They were supposed to charge me 12.97 but they scammed me and charged me 17 dollars. Very expensive too.

If I could I would give this place zero stars. For starters the receptionist answered the phone in Spanish, I know we are 20 feet from the border but still. Second, when my wife was trying to inquire about different cuts and prices, the receptionist was rushing her off the phone while not answering a single question of hers. Third, she just hung up on my wife after she apparently had enough of doing her job as a receptionist. Lastly and this is coming from my experience, the prices are WAY too high for the caliber of cut and customer service, with the way they treat their customers, they should be paying us to come in. Del Rio crappy customer service strikes again.

40 minute wait...okay so i had some shipping to do...returned at the 40 minute mark...stylist tells me there are 3 in front of you it will be another 20 minutes...no problem but they put 2 people in front...terrible customer service
