Out of all the ways I could’ve prepared for college, there was no better option than signing up for Span Test Prep. Although I was in a fairly decent position with my test scores prior to meeting Scott, he was easily able to bring the best out of me and help me improve. The 6 point jump I made to earn a 34 on my ACT was enough to not only get accepted into strong schools but also to receive significant scholarship money. The returns from putting in just a few hours a week are tenfold, and Scott is able to do so much more beyond standardized tests as well. Working with Scott Greenspan and Span Test Prep was truly a great experience for me. Coming into my first session, I was a little nervous about getting into some colleges after seeing their high average ACT scores compared to my first practice ACT score. Span Test Prep is a wonderful institution that helped my ACT score go from a 28 to a 35. Mr. Greenspan was recommended by a family friend, and over the course of about 8 months, I took about ten practice tests and went over each one individually with him. I learned new techniques pertaining to pacing and reading comprehension as well as reviewed my math skills. Without his help, I would not have been able to raise my score as successfully and my dream schools would ultimately not be within reach. I’m so grateful to Mr. Greenspan for his dedication to his students and I really enjoyed getting to know him.

My Span Test Prep experience was fantastic. I ended up raising my score 6 points from a 30 to a perfect 36 just doing the very manageable prep course that I was able to easily balance with athletics, friends and academics. What was really great was how well I got to know Mr. Greenspan on a personal level despite the pandemic, which really enhanced my ability to learn from him. The work was very manageable, but because of how personalized the course was I was able to take away a lot and improve every session. Having individual attention tailored to my specific needs meant I was able to improve much quicker than I might have improved taking a more general course. In my first session to study for standardized tests, I didn’t even now which test to choose -- ACT or SAT. Mr. Greenspan was a fantastic guide to help me through the standardized test process and establish confidence in getting into the colleges of my choice.We ended up choosing ACT, which better suited my skills. I saw improvement in my ACT test taking, and as a extra plus, I improved in all the tests I took in school. Over time I became more efficient and made fewer errors.Even with the ACT tests being postponed, Greenspan was there to help to make sure I didn’t regress in the skills I learned. Span Test prep was extremely helpful in preparing for the ACT. The strategies that are taught help greatly in time management during the test. You also get access to lots of resources that are not found in other ACT prep courses. It is very easy to schedule appointments, as Scott is very flexible and will work around any time conflicts you may have. I had an amazing experience with Span Test Prep! I took the 6-week course before the December ACT and my composite score went up 7 points from my first cold test! Scott always explained each problem I had trouble with in detail and made sure that I understood it before moving on. The full-length practice tests were extremely helpful in preparing me for what I would see on the real ACT. He would always track my scores on each test and compare them to the previous ones so that I could see my improvement in each subject and address any issues I was having. I can not say enough nice things about SPAN. I began there for ACT tutoring (which raised by score 8 points!!) and they havent been able to get rid of me since then! Mr. Greenspan has helped me so much over the past months. I started working with him over the summer for ACT prep. Coming in with no experience whatsoever, I didn’t know what to expect. After taking my first practice test, Mr. Greenspan and I worked together to identify where I needed the most support. I really appreciate how he developed a unique curriculum for me to study. We started with test taking skills and moved into my trouble areas. He brought my score up by nine points for my first test, to a score far better than I’d ever imagined! Scott worked with my son from Summer to Fall and helped him raise his SAT and ACT scores. My son raised his SAT score by 80 points. He raised his ACT score from a 19 to a 25. Scott also informed me of the opportunity to request additional testing time for my son on the ACT due to his documented diagnosis and treatment plan of ADD (inattentive). My son has now been admitted into five of the six colleges that he has applied to including his 1 B school. We are waiting to hear from his 1 A school.
