Stephanie is a magician. Will never let another soul cut my hair. My first visit she gave me the best cut in years. My second was the first perfect cut ever. True barber straight razor shaves, attention to detail, and a very welcoming personality. This place is the best. Especially Stephanie. Ask for her and thank me later. I know you will.

Ever since moving back to the area, I have had 3 excellent cuts at Oteros. I am glad that I found it - because my service is efficient, courteous, friendly, and the haircut has been just what I needed and wanted. Stephanie has taken great care of me. My haircut was pleasant and well-done. One small glitch occurred when I found my computer appointment was not registered in the computer but the next slot was available and the wait was worthwhile.

Oteros is solidly tackling COVID-19. The owner has been on site each time Ive taken my kids there during the last few weeks. He makes sure everyone is safe and the shop is kept very clean. I felt completely comfortable bringing the kids in once I saw the lengths they go through to clean between cuts. Each of my kids went for their first non Kid Snips cuts and they loved it. Stephanie and Gaby took wonderful care of the kids making them feel comfortable with their caring, fun, and warm personalities. Both kids (as well as all the staff) wore masks throughout the cut and simply had to hold them in place when they worked around the ears. They also received fantastic haircuts. Ill be sure to continue supporting this long standing gem of a local business in the Deerfield community.

DO walk in on an afternoon and sign in when you get there, youll be taken care of. DONT walk in at 4pm the day before thanksgiving, theyre slammed. They do great business. Totally reasonable prices, and 4/5 times theres less than a 20 minute wait for me.

I went in today to get a haircut and after waiting the workers said that due to the owners personal beliefs they dont cut womens hair even though I was going to get a trim of my already short hair. Didnt realize sexism in barber shops was still a thing in 2020. The workers werent rude about it, but I dont understand from a business perspective why you would deny business to someone because of their gender. The equality act exists for a reason...

The original owner has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. I got my first haircut since the shutdown and the first time by Stephanie. She did an amazing job and I will continue to go there.

I went in hoping to have my haircut by the gentleman in the first chair (great barber) as he had cut my hair before and did a great job. However the second time around I was sent to a woman that was cutting in the last chair. She took maybe 15-20 min max and gave me a terrible cut. I asked for a bald fade, which is a haircut that every barber should know how to execute. I also payed a steep price (25$) for such a terrible cut. However after re-entering the shop after leaving, I asked the gentleman in the first chair if there was any way he could fix the cut. He was very kind and offered to re-cut my hair. Overall, my experience that day did not make me a happy camper. However, he were very accommodating to fix my cut. I may, however, consider looking into other barbershops in the area as a result of this incident.

I must say I was really impressed by this shop. I have been going to other commercial shops and they always seem to mess my cut. The gentleman was good with the scissors and used a straight edge to line me up in the back. He also knew his sports which made time fly. Great service and atmosphere, definitely going to keep coming back!!!

Place is regular, nothing exciting. The cuts are 3/5, but staff is friendly. The shave is good. Prices are higher than they should be. I got a horrible haircut, one side half inch longer than the other, lady scratched my ears up with her long nails. Had to get hair fixed. I said I don’t want it short on top, why would you cut it short?

Fresh cuts always feel good after leaving here. I highly recommend this place and having an appointment when having a haircut.

I will not be getting lined up there again.I went in for a simple beard lining and I was not impressed.The cut was rushed. Service was poor.No straight razor was used to line the beard. Everything was done with clippers and trimmers. No alcohol was applied afterwards and to top it off, the lining isnt even close to symmetrical.I would compare this to a Great Clips....Its not a barber shop.

Im 14 years old and I went to the barber shop and asked for a short fade hair cut but leave longer on top it is a new style we are wearing and I was worried that they couldnt do what I wanted I sat in the last chair with a very nice lady who said dont worry I know exactly what you want and she did a very nice job so I will definitely go back!!

Sorry, not a fan. Went twice. Prices are way higher than they need to be for rude service. Ive never had anyone who cuts my hair refuse to chat. Maybe annoyed grunts are how they chat? Haircut was... OK, but Ive had better at chain places.
