The Sears technician came unprepared, didnt have proper tools to open the dryer, blamed it on me, because I wasnt too descriptive with the problem! The visit was rescheduled but the tech didnt show up and Sears decided to move the meeting to next day without my knowledge. Needless to say I was not able to accommodate and sit at home another day waiting for tech to show up or maybe not. Also, the diagnostic charge came up on my credit card as the full repair. Never again I will deal with Sears and their unreliable technicians.

The service tech was the best in the business! He knew exactly what to do and did it professionally and neatly and was courteous and nice. Everything seems to be working...My only issue is the time we had to wait for parts and the followup appointment to install. I was without my washer for 3 weeks waiting for it to be fixed. The service was awesome once they came...it just took too long.

All went well. Workman did a great job, neatly and quickly. My only complaint is the time between calling and resolution of the problem. When dealing with a refrigerator, some priority would be nice.the part arrived 4 days before it went in. In these days of next day delivery it would be better to have quicker service.

My appointment was originally scheduled between 8-12, then the updates (which are great, text alerts, and email checking times. It did get pushed back and the arrival time was closer to 1, but all good. Machine repaired, service technician friendly and efficient. I used the 20% online coupon, which I think misleads people into thinking it will be economical, it was still over $200 for something that didnt seem to take that long to repair.

After waiting for a week and half for parts, Baker (ID#934562) from A & E Factory Service came to my house for a second time and worked very hard to fix my refrigerator. He is very talented and a personable guy. Very happy with his service and my refrigerator is working great.

The repairman was very good but he had no notes about what I had asked for and it took several calls to set this up. A most annoying process. Fortunately he was able to fix the hoses as my condo is now requiring braided metal hoses which I had requested and paid for. I also had my dryer repaired through another contract with another company and they were much more efficient in scheduling and follow through.

My dishwasher needed service. The appointment was easy to schedule online, there was a robo call to confirm and the service person called twice the morning of the appointment to let me know when hed be there. Mark my service person was personable and professional. My dishwasher no longer has a small leak from the front! Excellent! Thanks.

Appointment was booked from 1-5pm, was narrowed down to 2:45-4:45pm. At 5pm, called the service line, they could only provide the same information I could read off an email. Had absolutely no knowledge other than the public website. Service man did a fine job when he arrived at 7:50 but should not have had to stay around house for 7 hours for a 15 min service call. Will not be buying major appliances at sears again.

The technician arrived promptly, did repairs quickly, explained thoroughly the problems of the machines that required repair and provided the parts. I was very pleased with the service and his professionalism. I highly recommend Sears as a notable store to shop at. I give it five stars!

Total nightmare with them. I had a broken dryer, and they came out to see it. They ordered a part and had it shipped. I had to take off a second day to get it repaired again. They never showed up when promised. I called repeatedly all day - the only customer service was in the Philippines! They never came, and worse yet, charged me for it all. It took me two months to straighten out with my credit card company - they claimed they had fixed it, though their own records ultimately showed that they hadnt.

Hi-I have had a few problems with this new he washer. however, the repair man I had fixing it recently was prompt, informative and a good worker. he also had a pleasant personality and tried to explain a few things to me. luckily we had the insurance. my dealings with sears and their reps has been very good. it is the washer that is the problem.

The technician is one of the best for the repair service I have received so far. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He did get my problem resolved. This is my second call for the service. The original problem did not get resolved on the first visit on Oct 9, 2015.

Service window changed 3 times, but the driver ultimately arrived at the end of the first service window I was given.Repairman was tidy, prepared and knowledgable. He was friendly and willing to explain the issue in plain language. He cleaned up the area after the repair.He fixed the issue (sensor) before telling me about the problem or the estimating the cost of the repair before he fixed the issue. Granted, this was a repair under $100, but I still would have liked to know the problem and an estimated cost of repair before he went forward with the repair.

During the scheduled time frame, our repair person did not show up. When I contacted Sears about it, he had submitted a report saying that he came and no one was home. This was simply not true, since there were people at home waiting for him to show up. Big pain for the people who planned their day around his visit.When he did come for the rescheduled appointment, the service was fine.

The customer service reps on the phone were rude and reluctant to schedule the repair. They even went as far to ask my 70+ year old mother to get down on the floor to check under the refrigerator. Odd little tidbit, the customer service reps and the technician kept asking my mother what brand of ice cream she has. Simply, because she mentioned that her ice cream is soft. After having these services for over 30 years, she is not renewing any of her contracts with the Sears Repair team.

My husband was home to meet the repair man who was helpful and seemed knowledgeable about the dryer he was fixing. However, the dryer does not work properly still. There was lots of rattling and squeaking going on. Apparently a part was loose and rolling around inside the drum. He removed the old and replaced it with the new. Thats great, however, al of the settings do not all work and the dryer is not drying clothes completely. So, Im not satisfied with the service since the product is not working properly. I have arranged for another appointment to have someone come out to complete the task at hand.

I had immediate response from Sears and technicians were efficient, polite and warned me before arrival. A first set of parts was shipped within 48 hours and another one (but I didnt know about it) a week later. I called to have an appointment after the first set of parts arrived and got the appointment the next day. Thank God the problem was fixed without the parts (screw stuck in the drain pump!!) otherwise I would have had to call for a third appointment. All in all, very nice people and efficient service. I just wished they had warned me that 2 parcels were to be expected.

The engineer arrived early in the slot allocated, which was appreciated. He was polite and friendly. Unfortunately he was unable to identify the model number of our stove, and so having him come was a waste of money. He did, however, give me a $5.00 discount on the call-out fee.

The technician was great - but the price was outrageous - we replaced an ice maker for $400?!?! I found the part online for $69 later and it couldnt have taken more than 10 minutes. I felt ripped off.

Sears came to my home on 10/24 for the third time in just over a year to repair a washing machine that was purchased brand new (Whirlpool 24 front-loading for $875) in June 2014. The washing machine has been a dud since day one, but for some reason Sears keeps trying to fix it instead of just replacing it. When the machines warranty was up, I had to purchase another warranty for $239.99 in order to cover future service calls/repairs. On 10/24 the service tech replaced the electrical motherboard in the machine since the original one had burnt out - the smell made me think my house was on fire. He left after an hour, and said I was all set. I immediately threw a load of laundry in to find that the machine still does not work. The timer flashes error codes and the machine fills with water and seizes up. I called Sears back and asked that the tech come back since he did not fulfill his job obligation and was told hed be back in 20 minutes. After 30 minutes with no contact I call Sears back and am told that the tech cant some back because he has no time. The soonest someone can come back is 4 days from then. Keep in mind that this is the second day of work that I have missed to sit around and wait for Sears to fix - actually NOT fix - my washing machine. I feel like I am being ripped off by this company. Instead of just replacing the defective merchandise that I have now spent over $1000.00 not to mention the work Ive missed, they would rather waste my time and keep sending people out here to do nothing in hopes that I will just give up or something. As I write this I am now waiting for them to show up here for the 4th time to attempt to fix the machine.Overall, I can live without a washing machine...that is not the issue here. The issue is that this company does not stand behind the products they sell, nor do they care about customer service. I will never purchase anything from Sears again and will advise everyone I know to do the same.

Repair man claimed my 6 year old 1000$ kenmore freezer is beyond repair ,gave us 100$ rebate for new freezer . cashed his 150$ diagnostic fee and left. we found out later that all it needed is refill for the gas(15$) and worked perfectly. did call and complained to Sears and received the most unprofessional response .

AWFUL service. First off you have to call and tell the automated service about what the problem was with our washing machine, thinking that would prompt whoever came out to actually have the part to fix the washer THAT day. This was not the case. The man who came out to our home the first time barely had a working cell phone and computer to order the part and when he finally did he said he couldnt come back until the afternoon of 7/5 saying thats when Sears was allowing him to come back, leaving us another week and a half without a working washer. The afternoon of 7/5 was an inconvenient time, and I got on a live chat with someone from Sears to move it to the morning of 7/5 which on this live chat, they told me this would be fine, so you can imagine my ANGER when Sears called on SUNDAY 7/3 to confirm my appointment for the AFTERNOON of 7/5. It was like I never had that live chat. SO sucked it up and rescheduled to the afternoon of 7/6 between 1-5. The repair man did not show up until after 6 pm. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL experience!

Sears has sent a number of technicians to repair our dishwasher which is constantly breaking down. We have had over 8 visits to our home, including times parts had to be ordered and return calls. No working washer yet. We purchased the service agreement. I wish I had applied the money instead to a new dishwasher from a different provider.
