Chris and his team worked so hard in my yard and gave me exactly what I asked for! And all in a day. I’m very impressed and satisfied. Will absolutely be using from now on for all my landscaping needs.

Was very disappointed in the job, we paid a lot of money to have a drain installed in front or French doors, the concrete pavers were pulled up and replaced with gravel which was fine. The problem was he used the least amount of gravel possible leaving thin spots in some areas and not enough gravel to even spread it out and try to cover them. The next thing we called him to discuss it and was told, “I’m working can you speed this up”! What professional does that? Very rude. Won’t be using him again.

Chris even tried to extort more money from me in order to pay for equipment and dumpster rental because he couldnt afford it. I was thinking we would be helping a young businessman get going. I can not saying enough GOOD about Chris and his team! They did an entire front and back yard of my parents house today. Complete sod installation, flower beds, rock around our irrigation system, shrubbery and tree root removal, etc. They showed up early this morning and worked until the sun went down to ensure that they completed this project in one day! Which was great for us and the neighbors to have it done in a timely and professional manner. Chris took the time to introduce himself and educate me on all of the different projects going on, really making sure it was up to our expectations. He explained the process as it was happening and made sure to give us some pro-tips to keep the grass and plants healthy and thriving! While observing, Chris was taking the initiative to teach his men about the best possible way to do different things and you could tell they really valued his input! I couldn’t be more pleased with this experience. His team was so nice and answered any questions I had for them throughout the day. Mr Britt and one of his crews came and installed 3 separate flowerbeds. With impressive clean quality, and professional design and percision. Not to mention the range of services he offers , I found that out with he designed a exceptionally functioning drainage system that completely resolved my issue. Im so thankful people still have work ethic that makes services like this to be available. It IS RARE.

I called Chris Britt about doing lawn service on my lawn and he got someone scheduled to come out that day and start the service. The guys that came out were very professional and did a great job. They knew what they were doing and I didnt have to give the guidance of what I wanted. I would rather have someone who knows how a lawn with Bermuda Sod should be mowed instead of asking me how high I want it mowed. We are scheduled for every other Friday now and look forward to these guys taking care of my lawn and flower beds.

I was interested in a quote as well as specifics that they could do for my flower boxes. Mr. Britt listen gave professional assessment of my situation.

We paid over $2000 for a zoysia sod install and i t is all weeds. I come from the country of zoysia and wanted zoysia to feel like home and love yard work. He did the installl we paid for his friend to treat it but it is all weeds and looks worse then when we had the install. Our neighbors laid sod over existing grass and looks great our other neighbors had it installed over gravel as renters and it looks great. We have kindly requested BRITT lawncare to come and see his work and he refuses to come and see it. We would just like to have decent grass or at the very least customer service honoring his so called business

The guys with Britts lawncare do an amazing job! They are like clockwork. I never have to call to see when they are going to be cutting the yard because they know exactly when it needs to be cut. Paying is easy as well. Chris has it set up through an app, so you dont have be home when they come out. I highly recommend using these guys if you need a quality lawncare crew!

Our patio remains unfinished after numerous contacts with this company. The work that has been done looks great, but unfinished work is unacceptable.

I hired Chris and his crew to clean up and maintain my mothers yard. She could no longer keep it up and it had gotten out of hand. In just one morning, they pruned, weeded, cut down, and dug up the out of control plants, put down river rock and pine straw, and overall made the yard look great! Shes now on a regular maintenance program and has one less thing to worry about. They were so professional and hard working, cleaned everything up, and hauled it off. I could not be more pleased. I live out of town and picked this company based on their reviews and they exceeded my expectations.

Unfortunately I was unable to use their service because I live so far away. But he was so kind to refer me to someone else and he responded almost immediately. If I lived in his local area, I feel certain I would use. He seemed very nice indeed.

Chris did a great job with our sod project. He had scheduled to lay the sod on a Saturday but ran into a snag when he found out his sod vendor as well as others in the area had run out of the type of sod that we planned on installing. Instead of rescheduling, he found a sod farm in Tennessee (a 4 hour round trip to pick it up) that had what we needed. Chris was very diligent in ensuring that the project was completed as promised. My neighbor and I chose Chris Britt to install lawn sod for us because of his reputation and my neighbors prior experience with him. Unfortunately, when we had problems with our sod, Mr. Britt failed to honor the quality of his work, and asked to charge us an amount greater than the entire job originally cost after initially writing hed make it right for the cost of materials. Use great caution in dealing with Mr. Britt, because we saw he WILL NOT stand behind his work. Some background;My neighbor and I decided to split the cost of a new lawn in front of our homes and Mr. Britt originally delivered some beautiful Zoysia sod from a Tennessee sod dealer. I was concerned because his crew simply scraped off the old grass and did little to remove old Bermuda grass, add ANY soil amendments or prepare the very hard dirt for new sod, but I hoped he knew what he was doing as this is his field of alleged expertise. Before his crew arrived with the sod, I spent hours trying to dig up Bermuda grass because of concerns.When we originally had the work done in October 2019, Mr. Britt asked us to water the lawn regularly but cautioned that it would die off in December before coming back in full force in the spring (of 2020). We did as advised and when spring came, the grass very slowly started to green up, but in a patchwork fashion, and it was clearly not growing uniformly. The seams between the squares began to attract weeds, leaves, crab grass and would not grow together as promised. In fact, much of the new growth seemed to be from Bermuda grass!My neighbor asked Mr. Britt why the grass was not growing and was told that because we were using a professional lawn service for weed control, fertilizer, etc., that might be slowing new growth, and Zoysia required temps in the 70s or above to thrive. All through the spring we waited, watered, fertilized, used week control and waited some more. I began to notice during neighborhood walks that other people who had used Zoysia sod laid in March and April now had beautiful May lawns, so I reached out to Mr. Britt to mention our concerns and ask that he fix the issue. We said Zoysia was still OK but since fescue was now available (Mr. Britt claimed none was available back in October 2019), we wanted to go with that if possible.At first, he was cooperative, admitted the lawn doesnt look that great, and even though my neighbor and I were not happy at having to pay almost 45 percent of the original job in addition to the October cost, we grudgingly agreed to do so. Mr. Britt said the problem, based on pics I sent, was because of the soil, not sod, and he asked if it was amended before the sod was put down. I told him he should know (!), as it was his work crew, but I saw no soil work by his crew. It was then that Mr. Britt, in a series of texts, began to waffle and attacked. He first claimed that he now needed $1700 - FAR more than what we originally paid last year, because he said Fescue was more expensive. I decided to check casually, and the price at Home Depot for a pallet of either sod is THE SAME, and as a contractor I guarantee he can get it cheaper than that! Believing I had now been lied to, I expressed shock that he could go from a charge of $575 to $1700 and said we would not pay that much and expected him to honor the quality of his work. He said he would come down to $1200 (basically what we paid originally) and no lower because he had a family (as if I dont) and needed to pay his crew. I advised Mr. Britt his fee was outrageous, and he then wrote he cant guarantee [my] gardening skills, as if somehow I was to blame because I watered the grass and had a professional and well known Alabama company doing our lawn care! The nerve!In summation, I told Mr. Britt that as a professional, it was HIS job to decide to, or know when to amend the soil, and since he said soil was the problem, it was his responsibility as the business owner to make things right. He refused and will accept no part of responsibility, so be warned if you are thinking of hiring him!

Chris has done numerous landscape and cleanup projects for us. He is eager and always does a very good job. He always prices his work at a fair price. I would recommend him him and plan to use him again.
