They were friendly and helpful! Even though they were short staffed and down a tech, they got me in and out quickly for my full synthetic oil change. I moved to town a short while ago and they are the only place Ill go. Sometimes when a place offers inexpensive full synthetic oil change (39.90) they lack in other areas such as friendliness and customer service. Not this place.

I absolutely love Precision Auto Tune the staff is amazing. I wont tell you they will have your car done in a flash but they will get the job done I went in a few weeks ago and stayed with them open to close (actually pass close) but they were trying there best to work on cars when they came in. The original mechanic had to leave for a little bit family emergency which I totally understand and was very patient he came back later to help the other guy to fix my poor car they are such good people. I always use my local Precision Auto Tune

I came into the location and Clint (shop manager) was on a personal phone call. He held up one finger telling me to hang on... about 10 minutes later, he is still talking to his girlfriend telling her that he’s not a 17yr old child and he has told her his intentions from the beginning. Phone rings and he tells her to hang on, that he needs to answer the phone... no apparent intent on helping the customer in front of him. Completely ignored me. After calling the location to get the owners info, he asked if I was the person that walked out on him... completely unprofessional. If I could give zero stars I would!! I have taken my vehicles there for oil changes for the last few years... I Will Not Be Back!!!

These guys (and gals) are great. The technicians are respectful and know what they are doing. The Decatur shop is easy to get in and out of since the red light is there. The lobby is clean with a tv and some frigid a/c blowing to keep you cool. Best thing about this place is everyone is really nice to you sincerely. Second best thing is the prices are very fair. Third best thing is that polar a/c they got running in the lobby.

Went there today and met the manager Kyle told him my money situation and my problem. He was the most friendly and helpful person I have met in this field. His staff was friendly too. He fixed the problem at a discounted rate and went beyond and told me of other things to be aware of in the future. Definitely taking all my auto service here!

I called to have my daughters car checked out because I was out of town. She took it down and they run a pressure test on the cooling system. Called me and said it needed a radiator it was leaking over $400.00. So I told my daughter to take it home and I would check it out when I get back in town. I wasnt going to spend $400 without looking at it myself. I check for a leak nothing. Took it to a local shop and they did a pressure test on it. Nothing but the radiator cap!! $7.98 fix.. Thanks Precision Tune for trying to screw me!!

Ive been coming here for years and i always leave satisfied.

My daughter was in Decatur for a training with a new job for one week. Unfortunately she did not pay attention to the temperature gauge of a car. That being said she blew the head gasket.I checked online for shop with good reviews and found this one. From the very first phone call Kyle was very professional and helpful. He accepted the AAA Tow and immediately diagnosed the issue.They worked very hard to get the car done by the end of the week and even stayed over for 2 hours to finish it on a Saturday night.. my point is if theyll give this kind of service to somebody they dont know whos out of town then just think of how good theyll be to local residents.

Precision Tune in Decatur has always been an excellent value. They provide fairly prompt service; superior car care,; and are polite and professional in dealing with their customers. With both our vehicles, over 5 or 6 years, I have never had a problem.

My mom went there to get her oil changed they told her she needed back rotors and brakes. They told her she couldn’t leave without getting them done because it would be a liability on them because they was so bad and needed replaced right then. So she leaves anyways and I go get her brakes to change them take the tires off and absolutely nothing need done. The brakes still had life on them and the rotors had absolutely nothing wrong with them. These people are crooks I know a lot of people they have screwed over. Stay away there a joke

What a waste of time. Needed an oil change -- receptionist stated that it would be about 35 minutes because there was one person ahead. Saw the car ahead of me pull in, watched techs drain the oil, and then three different people tried to put the wrong oil filter on the vehicle. What if one of the techs had succeeded? Finally the floor manager placed an order for the correct filter and talked to the owner of the vehicle. After over an hour wait, I asked the receptionist how much longer, and she had to ask what vehicles is yours -- there were only two people in the waiting area. Really! Decided I would take my car and find some place that knows how to service a vehicle -- found Express Oil on 6th Avenue. A little more expensive, but at least the shop knew how to service a car and wait on a customer. I will never return to Precision Tune, and I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years!

These guys saved me a ton of money compared to what I was quoted at another shop. I really like the new management here. I liked the way they quoted me the required repairs and recommended maintainence seperatly. They told me what and why needed to be done now, and what I could postpone until later.My car has four oxygen sensors, and they said I just needed one replaced. The other shop was trying to sell me all four. That turned off my check engine light off. Two weeks later the check engine light was still off so i got a minor tune up. My front brakes are almost ready to be done, but I can wait a few weeks. They showed me when the car was on the rack. They checked my car out very good. My car runs great and still no check engine light.

They saved me a ton of money compared to other quotes I got from mechanics in SEVERAL cities. I drive all the way from Madison to exclusively use these guys. The new management is AWESOME. I saw someone complain that they up charged for a part? Yes... they do at ANY mechanic shop, derp. And I can tell you that the quote they gave me AND labor were both cheaper than the 10 other shops I called.

Not happy with my experience there at all. I can not speak for the lube service, but if you have something wrong with your car, dont go there. They had my car two full weeks in which they admittedly guessed until they got tired of doing that and then decided to actually have it diagnosed by a dealership. That took a whole week to do, all the while Im renting a car because I live out state. When my car broke down on a Saturday on the interstate this was the only place open. They seemed very nice and im sure they are, but they took advantage of me, my money and time.

My car was serviced quickly and informative information was given. The employees and store manager were professional and made sure to let me know my business was appreciated.

Trustworthy. Went for brake inspection due to my brake light coming on. After inspection they informed me that nothing was wrong with my brakes (my car is old, my lights go haywire) and didnt charge me.

Youve gotta be kidding me, people actually giving good reviews to this place?? Its been under new management everytime Ive went in this place. They change prices constantly, its always a different price every single time and I get the same thing done. Plus they get there dirty black prints all over your vehicle and not to mention how ridiculously slow they are. Save your time and spend a little more and go to xpresslube or similar! Im done with this place, theyll no longer receive my business!

Been a regular here for 4-5 years they have done everything for me from oil changes to cv axles rotors and brakes were usually always the best price and usually always treated their customers and their customers vehicles with care and Ive also been a regular customer through about 5-6 complete crew changes and the previous crews were all fired for trying to help people out, anyway my point is they used to be (keyword USED to be) a great shop to go to for reasonably priced and quality work. But recently like 4-5 days ago I went up for a tune up on my vehicle it was a reasonably big project, labor estimates were 2.4-3 hours of work and my total price estimate with parts just labor was $260 roughly thats looking at $86-$106 an hour for labor alone! and without the parts I was looking at an estimate of over $500 thats almost $240 for just 6 sparkplugs and 1 set of sparkplug wires, when I went to autozone and bought the same stuff for roughly $40 they tried charging me 6 times what I paid at autozone for the same parts I understand mark ups and having to make money its a business but I mean seriously this shop used to help people out not rip them off, not to mention when they did do my tune up they sliced open one of my radiator bypass hoses, and tried to play it off like I had a cracked radiator saying they would fix that for over $200, I didnt find out it was just my hose until I drove it home and it over heated, located where my water and anti freeze mixture was spraying out went to autozone got a hose for $1.50, I personally will never return to this establishment and hope that no one else does too, shop around find a new shop and do not get ripped off by these crooks.

Prices are always competitive, the wait can be a bit lengthy if you catch them at a busy time, but the service is always friendly and professional. And I appreciate that the technicians are able to present potential problems without pressuring a sale.

If you look like you dont know much they will lie to your face and have multiple people tell you. You need this or that when honestly you dont. Even when they show you things its 100% fabricated. I am out money becuase I failed to see the warning signs dont be like me, or just go ONLY for an oil change if you absolutely have to.
