I used AMG for several projects over the last several years. First project they performed and power study for the building to verify we had enough power available for the new equipment. Report from the power study also included recommendations for other items we should address for preventative measures. They also help determine layout of the new equipment for best process flow. Second project they were contracted for was for our aerosol line expansion. They reviewed layout and took measurements for our Class I, Div I room and helped determine equipment classification zones. Also made recommendations for HVAC improvements with the data they collected. They helped most recently with layouts to determine a possible line layout for new equipment and helped develop proper process flow. Donn Greene was the Project Leader for all the projects. He is receptive to our constant changes and requests and does an excellent job with communication for project status. AMG completed a large capital project for my company is 2018. They provided the detailed capital estimate and engineering design. Very detailed oriented on all aspects. When problems did come up, they quickly resolved the issues and were very flexible. Very customer focuesed. Enjoyed working with them.

I reached out to AMG while in a very difficult position. We had a failed design with an accumulation tank and the project was already past due. We had some thoughts on new designs, but wanted to go away from the previous vendor due to their lack of performance. Within a day of reaching out we were put in touch with one of their VPs, Scott Feller, who immediately jumped in and helped us out. He ran calculations to identify the problem and even put in CAD his solution for us. We were in fabrication within two days. AMG never asked for a dime and it literally saved our business. I will be contracting them on all future designs. It was a pleasure working with them and benefiting from some truly talented engineers.

I am a project engineer for a manufacturing company that does various sized capital projects on a regular basis with AMG. They typically provide us with structural engineering, process engineering, and 3D modeling for equipment and piping layout. We dont work with their electrical or controls departments so I cant speak on those areas.The quality of work that we receive is always thorough and well designed. The individuals that I have worked with are all very experienced and knowledgeable. They are easy to work with and able to make adjustments quickly when things change. They are able to work with short and strict timelines that the manufacturing industry requires at times. They are able to run with designs with little direction if needed or follow strict requirements.For example, we had a need for someone to provide dust collection systems that are well designed with stable airflows and meet OSHA requirements for combustible dusts that are also cost effective. AMG did a code study to figure out what was required. They worked with us on equipment selection, equipment and ductwork layout, airflow and pressure drop calculations, and BOM lists for procurement. We recently had a separate 3rd party come into our facility to do a dust hazard analysis and he was impressed with the dust collection designs that AMG was involved with.Another example, we have come across several needs for custom equipment where we were not able to find anything on the market that met our needs. In one particular case, we needed a way for our maintenance to easily access a piece of equipment. The challenges were that there was not head room for a typical platform and there were other equipment around and below. They worked with us on a design for an equipment lift that would move the equipment horizontally out from over top of the other equipment and then lower it to the ground level where maintenance could easily access it.Overall, my experience with AMG has been great. Like anything, there is the occasional issue that we come across but they are quick to correct. It is a pleasure to have worked with them in the past and look forward to many more projects. If are looking for a professional engineering company that is great to work with, then consider AMG.
