Absolutely dreadful. Placed on online order for curbside pick up. Managed to make it to the location earlier than originally thought. Went in to see if I could just aquire the item as opposed to having to wait. Long story short I waited nearly 2 hours only to receive a text message stating that my order had been canceled. Worst experience with a retailer to date.

They were so nice at helping me fix my apple phone! and when it came out to be a bigger issue they were so nice to give me a lender phone until mine came back :) and the people who helped get my phone contacts moved over in the phone section were awesome as well!

Just don’t understand how it’s so hard to answer the phones. Considering you guys are a huge electronics place. What will be the excuse high call volumes , just please learn how to communicate with you’re customers or lose money an customer base weather if it’s an inch or a mile you lose something right? Okay treat people with customer value and respect ✊

I’m not one to leave awful reviews online, but i’m really disappointed in the service i received at geek squad. i dropped my computer off a couple days ago, they said they’d call or text when it was ready and would probably take 2-3 days. it’d been 3 days and hadn’t heard from them so i checked online. it said that my computer had been ready for a day - but i hadn’t heard from them at all - and not only that, but that it had already BEEN PICKED UP. cue me freaking out bc i thought they’d let someone steal my computer under their watch. we drove over to best buy only to find out that it was a glitch and my computer was just ready to be picked up. the employees didn’t seem apologetic or realize how much it had upset me. so we go home, i try to turn my computer on happy to have it back in my possession, only to discover that the issue hadn’t even been fixed after all that trouble and time lost. i’m a writer and not having access to my computer for days on end is really detrimental for me, so i’m upset that not only was it gone longer than it should have been had they bothered to, i don’t know, actually call or text me, but now we have to take it BACK because they didn’t fix the issue i brought it to them with.

I was taken care of by Carl, I had a iMac that crashed and he helped me recover all of my projects and valuable data. He also did it very quickly! I highly recommend going to him if you have issues with your Mac. Very intellectual and personable guy. Thankful he was able to help me.

Awful!. Never again.I took a 5 year old HP laptop to be repaired in mid November 2016. The technician looked at it and quoted a price $150 to repair. Before I left, they said there would be an additional $60 charge for a new hard drive. I was debating whether it was worth spending $210 on a 5 year old laptop. A new would cost me $500-600. I decided to go ahead with it. I had to pay the $210 up front. A few days later I got another call informing me that the previous OS could not be used so I had to pay another $130 to have Windows 10 installed. I could not get my $210 back. I had no choice but to pay. I ended up paying $340 to repair a 5 year old lap top.When I picked up the laptop, there was the laptop, its electrical cord, two small boxes (from the new hard drive and one that contained Windows 10), and a separate folder with the receipt and some paperwork. The Geek Squad employee didnt even bother to put it all in a plastic bag so that I can carry it out easily. He handed all over the counter to me and I had to walk out holding these things against my chest so they wouldnt fall on the ground. This is my first and last time dealing with the Geek Squad. Never again.

In order to upgrade the RAM of my Acer Predator Helios 500 to 64GB, it was required to disassemble the laptop completely; the whole cover and all heatsink and fan should be removed, the whole wiring must be detached, the mainboard should be removed to reach to the back of the keyboard where those two memory slots located. If I did not do that, the maximum ram expansion would be only 32GB by using the other two slots located just under the plastic cover. I contacted Acer and asked about the RAM expansion up to 64GB. They wanted me to reset the laptop to the factory setting (erasing all my files) and send the laptop to Texas for that. They estimated more than $200 just to install the Ram in those inaccessible slots. I desperately looked for somebody to that for me in the Dayton area for a reasonable price, but I could not find anybody to do that. Although I was not sure the Geek Squad in Mall Dr is capable of such an extensive disassembly project, I just stopped by to give it a chance.A very young and super nice lady named Alex confidently accepted the job. She never asked for any passwords and did not ask me to erase my files and reset my laptop to the factory setting. She said it is going to be ready in a couple of hours. To be honest, because she was very young, I was not very sure that she could do that, but I trusted her anyway. After a couple of hours, she called me and said the laptop is ready. I could not believe that. She did an impossible job for me and just charged me less than a $40. She did a PERFECT job for me; something that nobody in Dayton area could do that and the company in Texas wanted $200 and needed me to either give them all my passwords or completely erase all my files.I can not be more grateful for the job she did for me. I highly recommend the geek squad in Mall Dr and especially Miss Alex for any computer repairs. I wish I could give you 1000 stars instead of 5.

Poor customer service. Inexperienced or poorly trained staff handling service questions and or repairs.. Went in for service on 9/29 with a phone issue and walked out canceling my service contract. Needless to say, someone else gained a customer

Bad experience,gave me a used iPhone instead of a Replacement and I spent the100 mf dollars and the battery failed after 2 months of using it.If you need a Phone replacement,dont come here its a scam.

Sent my phone to repair, had to pay 150 something, they said instead of trying to fix it, they sent me a new one. The new one didnt even work, it was having the same problem like my old one. Waste of money, and a waste of time.

Geek squad is a middleman. They dont repair anything in house and their troubleshooting skills are on par with any amount of googling you yourself could do.

Repair laptop two times again same problem on going third time and asked for estimate they said 35$ for estimate only after that they will say how cost would be .
