I heard a lot of good things prior to going to this location. And I was not disappointed Tim the manager was very friendly helpful and professional.

I stopped in, (no appointment) after being directed there by Auto Zone, because I needed to swap the license plate on my car but the screws were rusted and stripped. I had gone multiple places and tried numerous things with no success. When I went in, I talked to Tim and explained my problem. He came out, quickly assessed the situation, and in no time flat had the screws out! But the new screws were to long and we had to do some problem solving. After about 20 minutes, I was on my way. The entire time, Tim was absolutely amazing and helpful. When I tried to pay for his time and materials at the end, he refused. Cant recommend them enough.

I had a new muffler put on today and it is the first and last time I will be coming here.I thought that the price was outrageous. I got charged over $400 for parts that retailed for $60. I will give them three stars for the fast service though. The manager Tim also did a good job. Tell your friends and family to stay away from this place.

Two weeks ago my husband and I took my car to muffler brothers.struts,tail pipe and new tire.they did an awesome job. Today at 2:30 pm I took it in for the front brakes and rotors.i told them, I needed it back for work tomorrow. The guy said I understand and no problem. I dont know why anyone would call these guys rip-offs. Ive been getting service there for over 15 years because I can trust them to be honest and fair with me. I dropped one of my cars off today because It looked like my exhaust was hanging different. A short time later Tim called to let me know there was nothing wrong and my exhaust should be good for a while. Any owner you couldnt trust would have found something to bill me for but I was greeted on return with the keys and a thank you. If you want a place to get your car serviced by someone you can trust, just stop in and ask for Tim.

Tim and Bubby are the nicest and most understanding guys. What other shops either turned away or wanted charge an arm and a leg for IF they had time...the muffler brothers team on Smithville took care of everything I needed and I didnt need to leave my truck overnight. Thanks guys. Ill definitely be going back there again. Highly recommended.

UPDATE - After checking around, I got the recommendation to take my RV to Muffler Brothers on Wayne Ave. in Dayton. They have an RV bay and can service up to 40 foot length vehicles. I took it in after talking to the owner, Tim Sr. His son, Tim Jr. did the common sense thing; he inflated the air bags to 70 PSI, then checked them 4 hours later, then again after sitting all night. Eureka! They held pressure all night! Tim called the next day and told me I could pick it up whenever I was ready - NO CHARGE! I was amazed!I said I would gladly pay something for the time he spent, but he said it was no problem, an easy job. They were so courteous and competent .So please, if you want good, competent , HONEST work done on your RV, please give Tim a call at Muffler Brothers on Wayne Ave. Youll be glad you did!!

Didnt even look at my car.Said the whole exAust system needed replaced quoted me $ 700 dollars I took it to big muffler shop here in Dayton he replaced the bad pipe & charged me be 83.00 for parts & labor & gave me a year warranty. 😊

Poor service

I will never deal with these guys again they charged me 1100.00 fr brakes and flex pipe and and basic oil change. and when i get the car home the brakes was still load and exhustle was still smelling. took the truck back to them twice. and nohing then took it some where else to have my brake checked and they said my brake was at 40% im like no they was just done. and they told me the piece they charged me 246.00 and 200.00 to put on was only 40.00 in the store. and 500 and something fr some breaks was way over priced. then when i said something to them about it. they down talked the other people . that was all the money i had then find out they said it would fixs every thing my carisstill sitting havent ran right . and i had just bought the truck the miles is still the same . i was charged for work they didnt do. i hate my self for letting my husband go to these guy with out me. they saw him coming from a mile away. now im stuck wih a truck that isnt working write. i feel very cheated i give 10 thumbs down. just writting his makes me cry. im on ssi i didnt have that. still got to pay other people to take me to the doctor. 1100.00 smh
