I called for ride when I said I would be using bank card not cash the man said I would need to prepay before ride was dispatched.. I asked how do I know your real and will show up. He told me I could call someone else if I didnt think he was real and hung up on me. Not getting in one of there cars!!

This was an awful experience was 20 minutes late after being told 30 minutes so I waited there for 50 minutes. It was a very old car that was broken. I could of gotten an uber that would of arrived in 15 minutes for $8 but instead I waited an hour for this trash to show up. And on top of that they charged me $20 for a 10 minute 3 mile ride. I hope this company gets shut down. To finish this all out I asked if they accept cards before I got a ride and the Indian guy who didnt speak English said yes and then when we arrived to my house the driver got rather aggressive and said they it is cash only even though on the back window it has we accept cards on it. So we drove to a gas station to get cash. Again.. shut down your buisness its trash and you dont even care. Book an uber yall.

I spoke with someone who seemed to be half sleep at 7:10am and requested a cab for 7:45am I was told “I’ll be there” after giving my address. 7:46am rolls around I call and the phone is off , gave it few minutes called again and no answer. I was still willing to wait so I sent a text asking to let me know for sure or not so I can make other arrangements if not. No response so I made other arrangements.. never heard back 😡

Yesterday morning I called for a cab to get my sisters dad to work. It was a little after 4am when I called and I told the man that I needed someone at the house at 5am to get someone to work, he assured me that he would be there. It was about 5:15 and my sisters dad called to tell me that no one had showed up, he had the door open and had been watching. I called the number back a couple times and got no response and no call back but I was definitely charged the $30 for the service that was not received. I called today and a lady answered and said the guy would call me back and refund me the money, not sure why she was unable to do the refund herself but I do not recommend this cab service. Terrible customer service and they’ll probably steal your money.

This ride was actually a little terrifying. While Im a little happy it was a quick trip, the driving 50mph in a 25mph was a bit much. I myself am a smoker, but the half smoked cigarette in the back on the floor was a little off putting.

The WORST experience ever! The cars literally fall apart. Nothing works. They also have no meter, so in the end, they totally overcharge you. DO NOT CALL!

I called one night at 5pm, to schedule a set time pick up for 6:30pm. I, was told that the driver would be there at 6:30. I waited for ONE hour and THIRTY minutes for the pick up. The cab vehicle ( a van) smelled awful and it was “ screeching ” while driving. The service was also terrible. The driver was also texting and driving. The cost for the cab ride was pathetic, since he was so LATE. He also proceeded to not park where I told him to for my drop off. He backed up his vehicle WITH the door open. I WOULD NEVER recommend this cab company.

Took an hour & 20 minutes to arrive. The driver was great and very nice. However, for a 6 minute car ride, it cost $15. I got ripped off.

I’m posting this review on my friend’s account because I do not have one. Do not waste your time booking a ride with Dana’s Cabs. They took my information yesterday and booked my ride, they texted me with the name of my hotel and I responded to them and confirmed the exact address. I was supposed to be picked up this morning at 5:30 am and no one showed up, i kept calling and no one answered. I almost missed my flight, thankfully i found another cab company to grab me. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!

By far the worst taxi experience that I have ever had! I called and was told they take card then get in the car and told that I have to fill the drivers gas tank because they dont take card. The price that Im told is almost $15 more then what they advertise on the door of the vehicle. I tell them I had to be to work at 8 but yet we sit at the gas station for 5 minutes for no reason at all requiring me to be late.

Driver showed up 30min past 20min arrival time. Showed up with a burnout headlight and another passenger that he had picked up beforehand. Driver took us into another State then to our destination about a 35min ride that should have been 10min tops. Driver promised to pick us back up at a set time but never showed! Called approximately 15tines and he ignored most of the attempts.

This company is a fraud Do not use them my driver never came and when I tried calling them they didnt answer. Instead they texted me but never showed. Use Uber or Lyft if u actually want to get to your destination.

Fiance called nearly 3 hours ago. The cab never even showed up. With business practices like this, it perplexes me as to how the company stays afloat.

This company is by far the worst cab experience that I have ever had. The car did not have any kind of identifying markings to show that it was a cab which I found really confusing. I thought they were really expensive. I went maybe 3 miles and it was 12 dollars. The car was also disgusting and there were stains on the seats. The cab also smelled really bad like BO and stale cigarettes. The driver and his girlfriend were nice but he didnt seem to know where he was going. I had to call them several times to find out where the car was. Overall, I would not use them again.

Called to order a cab and after giving them my card information determined I had to cancel since they told us 30 minute wait and many of the reviews said that it was actually much longer than quoted time. When I got on the phone with the owner, they said the driver hadnt even completed the previous trip yet (wasnt as if he was on his way to get us). Therefore, it makes absolutely no sense that there would be any charge for our cancellation. The owner started LITERALLY yelling at me and telling me it would be $10 fee. I eventually hung up when he kept yelling over me. I look on my card today and they charged me $30, not $10. If this is not refunded, I will be disputing with my credit card company.

My experience with Dana’s Cabs hazmat been a roller coaster ride. Sometimes the experience is good, others horrible. Wait times for a cab are often grossly inaccurate. I have had cabs show up late for scheduled rides. I have been double charged on my credit card on three occasions. I choose Dana’s Cabs with consideration of the above and only if I have enough time for Dana’s to give invalid pick up and wait times.

The cab driver couldnt hear anything I said. Had to pull up the address on my phone. Wouldnt tell me a price for the ride until we pulled up to the location. And then charged me 20 dollars for 4 miles. Which is basically robbery to me. It would have cost 6 dollars in a Lyft.

I called to get a cab and the person I talked with said they would be where I am in an hour and that they would call when they got to where I am but a little after an hour no one came and no one called so I called them again and I was talking with the same person who I talked with on the first call and he told me that he didnt really know that I needed the cab so he tells me that Im next on the list for the cab but it has been over 3 hours or longer and no one has shown up or called so I would give half a star if I could because they dont show up or call.

Called for one price then kept jacking up the price with fees like car fee and additional taxes. Then after agreeing with the price i was told 30 to 45 mins. So I waited outside and no one ever showed up or even called to tell me they were not coming. I dont understand how this company is even in business!!!

Waited for nearly an hour, finally got connected with an uber. At exactly an hour they called. No way.

Was given a quote of 25 mins for $20. Called twice after time passed. 10 mins later got a call back that my driver would be there in 5-7 min. If your cab service runs that price you better be reliable and safe. If youre not reliable, youre not safe. Glad I didnt waste my money but thanks for wasting my time.

Not a great experience. Ordered a cab and the guy said it would be a half hour until my ride was there, it ended up being an hour. We easily could have gone the highway as the fastest route, yet the driver decided to go the long way down a side road and insisted that he knows what hes doing We did manage to make it to the highway and he drove 50 mph or less the entire way. Not sure if this is policy or what, but it was quite frustrating.Driver was also FALLING ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL while taking me to my destination.Will NOT be using again.

I would never call Danas cab. All because Ive called from Wal-Mart to get home and obviously its a groceries store and youre gonna have more than three bag of anything when youre there. They told me it was one price (over the phone)and once i got in they told me it was extra all because I had more than three bags of food(i mean who just gonna go to a store for three bags of anything And pay so much for bad service ) I guess thats a good way of getting extra money and taking advantage of someone. It wouldnt be so bad if they would have told me about that extra fee for extra bags....

Service was nice and quick. They told me they would be here in 15-20 minutes and it ended up being 5-10. Driver did not have an issue with me changing destinations. Vehicle wasnt the best shape but it gets you from point A to B. Only issue I had was that he had Chicago Bears floor mats.

We were quite a few miles out of the way and they warned us of the wait (45 min-1hr) but arrived before the wait time and were very accommodating considering we had 5 adults and a car seat. Definitely recommend!

Owner was very responsive BUT I called night before to schedule a 4:30 pickup to airport but no one showed up. Talked to owner got the run around. Cancelled and took Uber. Dont believe locals that Uber isnt a good option.

Im not even the person who rode in the cab, but the driver brought one of our members to the credit union and was extremely rude to her, coming into the financial institution and harassing her, telling her he wasnt going to wait, and then honking outside while she was in working with me. If thats the kind of service that is offered to an elderly lady who was just trying to do her business, I cant imagine how rude this company is to others.

Decent speed ok car but overpriced

Sent a tiny car with two drivers to pick up three adults with luggage from the airport. Car was dirty, full of the drivers stuff and smelled a little off. Check engine light was on, car smelled like hot metal on the outside. Driver jumped the curb while looking at his phone on the way out of the airport. This would be a shoddy experience for an Uber ride. For a professional cab company charging cab prices, this Danas is an a level of itsi own.

I had a auto breakdown and just needed a ride home. I had to call twice because the dispatcher hung up on me before I could give them all of the pick up details. The driver was a smoker, liked rap music, and not friendly at all. The van was in questionable repair and I was charged $25 for 8 miles. Then before letting me off he had to go to the nearest gas station to get change. I could have used a debit card but that would have been another $2.50. I never have to use a cab so I went on-line today to check rates and the fare should have been more in the $16 range.

Today I encountered a silver van with Danas Cabs plastered on the sides. I was heading south on 16th St at a green light across John Deere Rd. Very busy area with steady traffic all around. This cab turned right on red without any hesitation heading south onto 16th St right as I came through on the intersection forcing me onto the raised shoulder to avoid them completely side swiping me. I quickly sped past them and looked in my rearview mirror to see them forcing other cars off the road in the same fashion. Absolutely wreckless behavior any time of the day, but in full traffic its completely unacceptable. Its not normal to turn right on red with a steady line of traffic moving through the intersection on a green light. Its an endangerment to everyone on the road, I wouldve called the police if my safety wasnt at immediate risk and I couldve done so safely. I would not get into a vehicle with these people.

The car was on time which was great. However the car itself was a pile of garbage. Had been in an accident clearly and doors only opened from the outside. The seatbelt in my seat had also been cut so I was unable to buckle in. I was told the night before I could pay with card. However when I went to pay with card I was told it was too early because the guy who the drivers need to call the cards into was sleeping. The driver then took me to an ATM but didnt have correct cash to give back to me.

Was told they would be at the site to pick me up in 10 min took 25 minutes got into a van that smelled of Bo there was a driver and a drivers companion garbage all throughout the vehicle, disgusting, told driver where to go, he went the wrong direction had to direct him 2 more times to my destination what a joke maybe they never heard of Google maps. horrible taxi ride

Won’t be using these guys again. He was late and rude. He got angry because I had to pay with a debit card and told me if canceled on him, he would call the cops and would keep bothering me. Who says that to a customer? I never threatened to cancel. Then I had to walk about a quarter of a block and cross 4 lanes of traffic to get to him because he wouldn’t drive down the street to get me. He claimed he couldn’t get to me. As I waited for him, 3 cars drove past me. He absolutely could have driven up to me. He was either lazy or not too smart. He made me feel really bad, threatening me the way he did. I was on the verge of tears. Horrible service.

NO meter in the car but they took me from Kwik Star, 100 W 65th St, Davenport, IA 52806 to the hyvee on 53rd st. not even 5 miles down the road and charged me $35 claiming it was 12 miles. talk about a joke

I called for a cab, they told me 30 minutes and quoted a price . I sat and waited over 20 minutes outside and called several times to get a location. Then when they finally showed up the car was very unprofessional and dirty. Dirver seemed off and on something . Then was going off route and asking where to go even after gps. I was very uncomfortable .Then even at my destination still didnt know where he was or what price or what was going on. I had to ask Husband to come out for safety reasons .I do not at all recommemd .

Used this service three times (4 times now...read my update further down), 1st experience was excellent and they were early and didnt even mind waiting for me a few minutes. 2nd time I called to be picked up at work 2 hrs before the end of my shift, gave very specific instructions where I was at and had to wait 45 min to be picked up after the end of my shift, plus the driver got lost. 3rd time I was needing a ride to work and was told by the driver he could be at my residence in 15 min, they were over a 1/2 hr late and I ended up having to ask one of my neighbors to take me in and I ended up with a tardy for my efforts....kinda hard to recommend them based on the last two experiences...The Quads have a long way to go with their taxi services as well as metro bus systems with their limited run hours, not the place to live if you dont drive. If not for my 1st experience this would be a one star rating !UPDATE: So folks got an apology text today for these last 2 negative experiences and was offered $10.00 off my next fare if I used their service again, well I thought hey, Ill give them a chance to win me back as a customer. I gave very specific instructions this morning (9hrs prior to my needing to be picked up) and the time I was off work, I was told by them that they would be on time.....HAHHHHH..well it was another negative experience again and after waiting 22 minutes called them, voicemail again ! I then received a text 45 min after my pick up time that their driver had gotten lost , but that they were there now and that the ride was free, well their competitor picked me up 10 min prior to their text....sad..sad...change your name to DONT CALL OUR CAB CO...WE SUCK !

Ordered a cab 18 hours before my flight left. Was told the cab would be on time. Called 5 minutes after they were supposed to show up and they did not answer. Called 5 minutes later (sounded like i woke him up) he said they would be 10 minutes. Called 20 minutes later, was told it would be another 10. So after being 35 minutes late, for an obviously important ride to catch a flight. My pregnant girlfriend had to load our luggage ontop of two dirty tires (in my defense i was locking up the house and assumed they would help like a real driver would) The dude drove 5 miles under the speed limit the whole way there (must pay by time ontop of mileage). I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!!
