I was referred to Rainbow International through Raynor Garage Door company. My particular job required demo of a single garage door opening in a 20’ x ‘30 outbuilding. I needed to raise the height from 7’ to 8’ and open up the opening to install a 18’ wide double garage door. Jon was assigned this project and did an excellent job while paying attention to detail. After preparing the opening, Raynor was able to install the door with no problem. It looks like it was meant to be there and Jon even matched the existing trim and siding color. Highly recommend them for construction jobs!

Repair and re-paint front porch railing that was damaged by the severe hail storm. Andrew and Nate did an outstanding job - efficient, thorough and personable. Also, appreciate John’s evaluation, solution and oversight. Job well done by all.

Amazing experience working with rainbow...coordinating with Ken Rogers has been simplistic and smooth. I was lucky enough to get a tech by the name of Jake to come out to finish up the work for our shower (reinstall door, trim work, and painting. Jake Blumer went above and beyond in making sure everything was meticulously perfect. He even asked that I do a double and triple check over his work in case I saw anything I did not like. Not one issue. Beyond that, he even personally reached out a week later to ensure there were no problems post-work. Jake was awesome and really deserves some appreciation for his hard work and ability to work diligently and effectively.

Still going through the process of having my roof and gutters replaced, during this process my downspout came off the house. I called rainbow to see if they could temporarily reattach. Within minutes Jake called with and eta and was right on time. He was professional and did a wonderful job. He is definitely an Asset to your company! Thank you Rainbow

Just wrapped up a very long mold remediation process and while it took longer than expected and there were times I was not satisfied, overall it was a good experience with a company that tried hard to complete the task at hand- given all the hiccups along the way. Ken was great with communication and even though the time line was messed up and there were days when no one was working per his direction, I still believe he did what he could for us. Workers Stephan and Jake were great and very professional, always working hard when we showed up to check on progress, answered any questions we had. As I said, it took a lot longer than we originally anticipated (it was a tough job) and we didn’t always feel we were made a priority but being in the other side now, I am satisfied with the job that was done. I just moved to the area and I requested to have our carpets cleaned. I was able to get the appointment the following week, which I wanted. Phil was on time, courteous and professional. He had me show him around to see what I wanted done. He asked if I had any questions or concerns before he began. He did our entire house in a timely manner. He even moved a huge piece of furniture to clean underneath. Afterwards, he showed us what he did and asked him if we had any questions. Phil was very nice and did an exceptional job. Rainbow was very responsive. We were in a time crunch to get a room cleaned in less than 24 hours. They not only responded right away but were also able to get the room cleaned in a quicker time frame. The transaction was easy, communication was great and the end result was awesome. We had a great experience with Rainbow International! They were called in partway through a water damage clean-up and rebuilding project in our home. Their initial response was so FAST. Each person we encountered during the project was courteous and provided great service/work. Jon was the lead person on the project and he was kind/attentive, communicated well, and went above and beyond what was expected, in order to provide excellent work and service. We also interacted by phone or in person with Kenny, Jake and his crew, Lori and Sarah (painters), Dave and a crew from Carpetland, Dan (drywall), Phil (carpet cleaning) & Kristin (office personnel). As with any home repair project, there were hiccups along the way, but having great people helping out made the experience less painful. We would definitely recommend Rainbow!

After a recent broken sewer pipe, my insurance company suggested Rainbow. My job moved into priority when I told them I had a broken sewer pipe in a finished basement and didnt realize it for 6 days (Thanks to derecho). Nate and Barbi were assigned to my job and explained the steps and precautions taken to prevent mold and germs spreading to the unaffected areas of the finished room. There were timely and called ahead to let me know their ETA. Moved some of the bigger pieces out of the bedroom. Explained the steps they were doing. Gave updates about whats is next. A GREAT JOB DONE QUICKLY AND cordially, too! Our insurance agent advised us to call someone who could measure the amount of moisture left after we had a toilet tank overflow and soak not only the bathroom but the hallway outside. A friend of ours, Jon Kendall, works for Rainbow and weve been most impressed by his knowledge of this sort of thing so we called the company to see about getting someone to help us. Robin, the receptionist, was friendly and connected us with Kenny Rogers who was able to come out before noon and check things out for us. He was wonderful! Luckily there wasnt much that still had moisture in it but he gave us a lot of good information about the issues we will still need to address.Im hoping they can come and clean our carpets for us soon, too.Gail P. Barbi and Zack came to fix bathroom leak after storm. Did an outstanding job cutting out drywall in wall and ceiling, getting wet insulation out, and cleaned up. I would definitely recommend!!!! Fantastic job and couldnt be happier!

We learned a lot going through a basement flood (we had about 2 inches of water through the entire basement due to a sump pump failure). There are essentially 2 stages: 1- Water Mitigation, where the wet and damaged items are removed / disposed of and the basement is dried; 2- The Rebuild, where damaged items are repaired / replaced. The most important thing we learned was to not use a restoration company (we used Rainbow International and were very unsatisfied). The prices they charge are truly outrageous: $425 to haul away carpet (which our local trash pickup does for free), $30/day for the fans—which you can buy for $50 on Amazon—and we used them 2-3 days, $125/day for the dehumidifiers—the biggest home models on Amazon are about $260---and we used them for 3 days, and 84 cents per square foot of carpet to rip out (which they quoted me 42 cents up front and then bait-and-switched on the bill because they charge once for the carpet and once for the pad)… not to mention all the set-up/take-down/monitoring fees that are listed “per hour” but charge for way more hours than they are actually doing those actions. They were also very generous in their favor on the measurements. It was really so disappointing to see this company taking advantage of people during their tragedies, but really that is all I can say after working with Rainbow. After the water mitigation was complete they gave us an estimate of over $8,000 for the rebuild, which only consisted of replacing the baseboards, door jambs, and carpet in a 1,000 sqft basement. We got it done with our own contractors for $3,000 less! I would never trust this company; if this ever happens to us again, we will dry out the basement ourselves and hire out the rebuild to our own contractors.
