Our only complaint is that the appointment scheduled was anywhere between 8am and 5pm. He showed up around 1pm, was courteous, professional, and offered solutions. It was a warranty call so I cant speak to value. We would use them again.

Im sorry this has taken me so long to respond to. Our icemaker was not working so they charged us $99 to tell us our icemaker wasnt working. I guess that was their diagnosis said it would cost $400 if they put a new one in. I guess thats a total of $500. Suggested that we could get a counter icemaker....why would we do that.Well we purchased a new icemaker and installed it. Well that didnt work do wasnt the problem. I think it might be a cellenoid but I dont have the means to ck it. So Im making my ice with trays. NO THANK YOU TO SEARS TECHNICIANS. A big rip off only interested in making $99 for a misdiagnosis.

PLEASE PLEASE read this. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PURCHASE FROM SEARS OR SCHEDULE ANY REPAIRS. My technician FIRST diagnosed my fridge problem with never stepping foot in my house. He showed up before he was even scheduled with no phone call so he had to come the following day. He then told me it was a bad compressor and board.. Thankfully I called another local tech because his diagnosis never made sense, they told me freon had leaked out and there was no freon and also the leak was nowhere to be found and therefore couldnt be fixed. I was charged 99$ for diagnosis by sears. Since the fridge had a manufacturer warranty, i called sears again and they said they had to verify the problem and send another tech. Same technician even though I specifically requested a different tech, and I was told I wouldnt be charged the service fee, but this time a labor fee of approximately 300$. All because this technician misdiagnosed the problem. I have come to no solution as its impossible to REACH ANYONE who can be of assistance. I have wasted so much time fighting with this company and have been hung up on twice. I would spend 5x the money to avoid dealing with Sears Home Services. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! would. If I could give zero or negative stars I would... This service is 100% thievery.

A week before Xmas our oven quit working. The tech who came out on the following Saturday merely pronounced the problem as bad thermostats, ordered the parts, and left. The only service date available was mid-January, when we would be out of town. My efforts to change this date were futile, so somebody showed up while we were gone.Almost six weeks after the first call, the parts had finally arrived and a different tech came to do the repairs. After installing the parts, the oven still would not work. The tech, who was trying his best but admitted he generally did only refrigerators, called a support number and was told to check the front electronic panel. Indeed, that was not functioning, but the part was no longer available. So, the whole stove needed to be replaced.Had this been diagnosed correctly the first time, we might have been able to cook Xmas dinner, albeit with a new stove.

We actually didnt receive service, the gentleman called morning of and discussed issue we was having and was very honest about costs expectations. So we decided to cancel appointment and just purchase a new one. Hence saving money for him to just tell us same once arriving.

I would rate our technician a 5 star but with the way Sears schedules their service calls I think a 3 star is generous. I have a real issue with being given a time frame of 8am to 5pm for the service call to be completed. Plus no updates if the technician is on his way or a couple hours out. It is unreasonable to expect a consumer to be available ALL DAY and then over book a technician so they dont arrive until 6pm. For this reason I would think twice before buying another sears product.

Our appointment, scheduled for Tuesday 5/23/17 seemed great at first. Our service person came early in the time frame promised, was cheerful and courteous. The priced was astoundingly reasonable. Out lawn tractor had a complete annual checkup, oil change, etc. The technician shapened the blades and reinstalled the mowing deck which had been removed to use the tractor with a snow blade. Seemed to run well when the technician started it up. Was thrilled. Two days later when we tried to start it, it tried to turn over but couldnt. A call to the service dept. revealed a suspected problem with the spark plugs (usually part of the vehicle maintenance). We had a service tech scheduled to come again Wednesday of next week. With the grass growing at an alarming rate, this is less than ideal. Well make sure to start it and stop it several times on our own this time before letting the technician leave. Fingers crossed!

The service was on our Bosch dishwasher. Our dishes & glasses were coming out filmy. We keep it clean but to be sure, we ran it with a glass of vinegar in it. That helped for a short while. The technician was very polite. He offered advice about which soap to use. The one we had was for older machines. So we purchased another product. Much better.

Our experience was very good. Service person checked all four appliances. Explained things about fridge , washer and dryer that we were not aware of.Appreciated that he kept in contact as he would be later than planned do to a problem with servicing the appliance at the call before our appointment.Service person very knowledgeable and courteous.

I have yet to be unsatisfied with any of the service people coming to repair my lawn tractor. I had Eric for several years and this time Bert was sent. BOTH did what was needed, were pleasant and resulted in my being MORE THAN satisfied with them. Keep up the good work!

Sears took over 3 months to replace a fuse that could have been purchased for a couple of bucks at any electronics store. Unbelievably inefficient system. It is no longer a secret to anyone why Sears is closing stores. Telephone answering system should be replaced as soon as possible. Never send me an email and tell me to call Sears. What in the world is the matter with you? Learn how to use a phone, it isnt that difficult. I see no reason to ever walk into a Sears store again, much less purchase anything from them. Every week a Sears employee assured me that he would take care of my problem and get back to me. Never happened. I dont think anyone at Sears could pour water out of a rubber boot, even if the directions were written on the sole. One star is grossly over rating Sears.

I couldnt have been more satisfied with my experience when I had my treadmill serviced. The service man was polite, knowledgable (answering my questions and demonstrating so I knew how to do it), friendly and very thoughtful. He cleaned up when he was done and even went out of his way to run the sweeper under the treadmill, knowing I couldnt lift it up.FIVE STARS FOR SURE.

We waited at home 3 times for an 8:00-12:00 service window. The first 2 appointments were cancelled by email, late in that 4 hour window. The third scheduling was completed bright and early in the morning. Service person was polite and capable but appeared to do the minimum check up for our 3 appliances.

The service was good and prompt, service man was very polite and worked fast. For what he did though the price was outrageous. First of all I tried to find the part online needed to fix the dishwasher but couldnt because the service man had informed me that the part he was fixing was faulty and they had to redesignd it because it had broke so often. Second of all I was charged $185.00 for labor that took him all of 30 minutes for him to replace a $45.00 part that should of been free since it was not my fault. The service was good, the price for the service was absolutely insane. Probably just call local handyman next time!

Absolutely terrible service. Took 5 days to come the first time and didnt fix it. When I called to get them to come back, they said they still HAD to charge me ANOTHER $89 visit fee. What? After throwing away $250 on the first failed repair? No way! DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE! For 50 years, I have been a loyal Sears customer. Not anymore.

Will arrive between 8am and 5pm is their time frame to fix my washing machine. Wasted an entire day waiting for a 3:15 arrival for technician to troubleshoot in 10 minutes. Although he did not have the required replacement part a repair date was scheduled. Repair day came and new part was installed. After 1 load of laundry a drain hose shook loose(original problem with washer was excessive shaking) and flooded my laundry room and damaged basement ceiling. Absolutely disappointed!

The tech was a super nice and friendly guy. He seemed to work fast. He was also 4 hours late and took a few shortcuts to expedite the job. The shortcuts were very simple things like plugging my refrigerator into a more accessible outlet right on my countertop instead of the outlet behind the fridge where he unplugged it. So now the cord is laying across my countertop. Also, he pressured me to pay with a credit card because it was faster for him to process. He made it clear to me that I was his last call of the day. Overall Id give the call a B-.

Not really a Full Repair Service !Oil Change with filter and a new battery with install, $246.00!No lube to my front wheel bearings, no air filter and no tire pressure check.At this price I will never do it again for such limited service.

The guy that came to my house was knowledgeable, respectful, and did a quality job repairing my TV. My issue was fixed after 2 visits and the first really wasnt his fault because the wrong part number had been sent to my house by their call center support staff. Once the right part was there he had it installed within 30 min.

AC unit was serviced on Monday and it stopped working next day. Sears didnt even want to consider this as a priority. They gave all sort of reasoning with a technician date 2 weeks out as only thing they can do. They suggested that I should consultant another company since Sears schedule is so full during summer time. I cant believe it why would a company do something like this, when service was done a day before only.

I paid $79 to look at my dishwasher, for them tell me whats was wrong, then the service man said here is your problem its the hose from dishwasher to the sink. Packs his equipment up then leaves responding we dont fix that. And leaves. I felt like I was in that commercial with the problem monitor, he says theres a problem but does nothing to help. Needless to say, I will never let sears anything darken my doors again. So if I could give them less than 1 star I would, the only positive I have to say is, he was on time.

If you get a tech Named Nate send him away!!! He didnt want to do his job so he told us that we had a bad wire!!!! I had to spend $100 to a Heating and Air company to come out and tell me that in fact we have no freon and possibly a freon leak in our system!!!! I had to call 3 different phone number for Sears to get another tech dispatched out to my house!!!! I now have to wait until June 24th for a tech to show up!!!! If I wouldnt have complained about the service from Nate I would have to wait until July 14th!!!!! So my family of 5 with 3 pets are living in a house with the average temperature of 89 degrees!!!!! Sears has cost me $1,200 for a 5 years Master Protection Plan and $100 to debunk what the lazy Sears Tech Nate said was wrong with my Central Air Unit!!!!!!!

This last experience with Sears has been so horrific that when my extended warranties run out I will never ever again purchase anything from Sears. My dishwasher has been down for almost a month and a half, my initial complaint was that it leaked now circuit boards are being ordered wires have been pinched and cut and the wrong parts have been ordered and the parts that I need have not been ordered. This is in NO WAY the fault of the repairman they have ordered the correct parts but somehow theyre not being sent out from the warehouse. My husband and I have moved extensively over our 32 years of marriage with his job and we have always ordered and bought our major appliances from Sears Im very disappointed in the way Sears has changed over the years. If I could have given this post is 0 rating I would have.

So far I have had two calls from two service technicians to work on my Kenmore dehumidifier. It is still not working. I have a third service call scheduled tomorrow. Lets hope my dehumidifier will be working tomorrow.I have had three service calls from technicians to work on my Kenmore dehumidifier and it is still not working. Now I am trying to convince them that I have a lemon. The service department is making it very difficult to get a working unit. This is all happening under warranty.I had a fourth call and that service technician worked with the appropriate Sears technical support people to open a ticket and document my problems. They both agreed the unit was beyond repair.It took Sears 3 days to issue a replacement order that allowed me to buy a similar unit to what we originally had. It is now working.In summary Sears did fix the problem. It was after 4 service calls (a lot of money for Sears and lost time for me) that the unit was finally replaced.

Im very dissapointed with Sears services. I was without refrigerator for almost a month. My refirgerator is a little over a year old and the compressor failed and needed to be replaced. Im not satisfied with the installation of the new compressor. The tech worked on it for two days and he left it sticking out from the back of the fridge. I called him twice to come and fix it. No response........

Your service technician did not repair my ice maker. My refrigerator is not working now, the freezer is not freezing and the refrigerator is not staying cold, nor is the ice maker making ice. I am worse off after your repair man being here and trying to fix my ice maker.
