I have been to successful events at this location as a guest but I will never book them myself. The customer service is horrible. Kira is very rude and condescending. Whenever I tried to have dialog about my event to clarify things she began to go back and forth with me as if I was annoying her by having questions before I sign a contract or make a deposit. That is not the way you treat potential customers. I will put my dollars where Im appreciated and where there is better customer service skills. I gave several chances for things to be resolved offline by voicing my concerns with the dialog she was giving and asking to speak on the phone instead but she ignores the comments and doesnt take ownership or acknowledge the way she treats people or comes across and would not talk with me on the phone. Totally unacceptable and very disappointed because I really had my heart set on supporting this business. However I can see now by reading other reviews that this wasnt an isolated incident with just me.

I would NOT recommend KEYA Graves. I was supposed to have an anniversary event at this venue May 2020; however due to Covid we had to change our date. Kira had no problem changing our date; however, she made our whole payment non refundable. I asked Kira why our whole payment is non refundable and she stated it’s because we changed our date....... before we changed our date only a portion of our payment was non refundable. Again, we changed our date due to Covid. The state of PA shut everything down, the country was shut down! Kira had not compassion or understanding. All they care about is money. Over the last two years Kira was non-responsive or very slow in responding. She comes off rude and unprofessional! We had our event June 2021. It was 91 degrees and the air at KEYA Graves was non existent! Every one of my guest were hot and trying to fan theirselves with plates. We requested 17 tables, our contract stated 17 tables; however, on the day of the event they provided 14 tables. I called her and texted her about the table incident and air conditioning. No response at all. She did not answer my calls or text. My mother in law found a worker and he provided the 3 extra tables that were supposed to be there. I truly would not recommend this venue. The venue is huge but it needs work done. For the last few months I have tried to be as nice as possible so I could have my event, especially since my whole entire payment became non refundable. I paid extra for set up and clean up. I assumed set up would mean KEYA Graves employees would set up our decorations for us. We paid an extra 250 dollars. Set up and clean up means they set up chairs and tables. The chairs are usually stacked against the wall. You basically pay an extra 250 for the chairs to be unstacked and then re-stacked when the event is over. I received a million emails about final guest count due dates but had a hard time reaching her when I truly needed her. Management should look into Kira and the way she treats clients ! Her attitude is not the best. Again I would absolutely NOT recommend this venue, it’s not worth dealing with the employees!

I was here at my Sisters Wedding Reception and we had so much fun, considering this Pandemic and restrictions on how many could attend. The food was great, Im unsure as to whether Keya Graves actually catered it or not. Considering this spot for an event in the future.

This banquet hall is very spacious and and clean and has adequate bathrooms to accommodate a huge gathering. Parking is an issue....I got lucky find parking on my first time around almost before circling the block again.

The Hall is a beautiful place to a event, but I dont recommend anyone to use they catering company, the food was horrible severed was bad, they forgot the dessert, it was hot 🥵 and there, my guest was complaining about the food and the heat,as the host I was very disappointed 😞 for the amount of money I paid for everything, and when I reached out to the owner about how I felt about everything she did refunded me the money for the dessert and not the food, its sad 😢 to say thats why I dont like to deal with my own black business Owners she is very rude sincerely Carmen 😔😡😡😡

On our way back to our hometown my sister found this place. A true Hidden Gem! From start to finish everything was Superb. Buffet style brunch with a variety of beverages, you can even get a pitcher of mimosa (for an additional cost). Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

I have been enjoying Keya Graves delicious Sunday brunch for years. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and smiling. The quality of the food is and has always been outstanding. From the made to order waffles and omelets to the home fries and fried chicken everything is always seasoned and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is just wonderful. I contacted this venue unfortunately the coordinator Kira didnt want to speak with me but wanted emailing to continue. When a customer is confused it would be nice for clarification so a phone call is the least that can be done. I stated my concern about exchanging or making deals that require contracts so can we talk and the response was in better lack of words good luck on your search. How can you do business without the person speaking with you thats not okay and will never be. I would never trust a person I dont know emailing in these days and times the best way would of been talking with your customer to easy there concerns and give them the best options. Well not this company even in a pandemic people are willing to work with you and you dont want to speak with them im sorry this needs to end expecially when we are trying too support and love people. I wouldnt dare deal with anyone who does this but its your choice. God Bless!

Despite the service, the Sunday brunch menu was good. The food was delicious and had that home cooked flavor. The atmosphere however, couldve been better. The staff mustve thought they were home instead of at work. No one greeted me at the door to show me a table. The staff at the buffet kept leaving the serving station, and the waffle station was dirty. There was batter and omelet ingredients all over the table. The guest tables had white chart paper draped over the cloth. Tacky! If you dont want your linen to get dirty then dont use it. if that wasnt enough, workers were engaged in personal conversations at the cash register and a member of the kitchen crew was sitting outside on the curb in the back of the restaurant. Get it together. Not a good look. Overall...The food was good but the service needs improvement.

This place was great! Nice atmosphere, lighting and antique looking pieces in the dining area and bathroom. All you can eat brunch for $10. Food was good, fresh omelets and waffles. The staff was very nice and helpful. Tasty mimosas could have used a bit more champagne! I gave them a 4 only because when it was time to pay the bill they seemed a little confused and were trying to add it up on the fly! First time going here! If you looking for a Sunday brunch where you can take the whole family I recommend it!

I had the wonderful privilege of working with Kira, in order to book a venue for my Sisters Bridal Shower. I live out of state, so the planning was a bit complicated. However, Kira from day one answered all of my questions and continually checked in with me for a status update until I was finally ready to book the catered venue. Kiras follow-up and guidance through-out this process gave me a peace of mind and made this process so much easier than I thought it would be. In addition, I was completely floored when I saw how beautiful everything was when we walked through the doors. I thought that there was still going to be a lot of things for us to do, but to our surprise they had it all together perfectly. The staff was wonderful to work with and so accommodating! The food was excellent! My sister had a blast and enjoyed every bit of it. I was so excited that I cannot wait to plan my next event there and also come back to enjoy their Brunch! I may not be local, but I am not definitely willing to travel now!!!

Do not patronize this business the owner is rude has No customer service skills at all. Kira will only talk to you via email or text. You will never speak with her by phone nor will you meet her in person. Once she has your money she will treat you any way she wants. I booked my 40th birthday party here the process was so stressful that I almost cancelled everything! I opted to rent her Bluetooth speaker/mic setup,before I signed the contract I wanted to know the wattage of the speaker. This is A pretty standard question if you offer this service her response to my question was unfortunately I don’t have that information. I said I would like to know what I’m paying for this is a pretty standard question the wattage is on speaker. The next email I got was a canceled contract for the service then another email stating it’s no longer available please make other arrangements a week before my party!!! She treats her customers like they mean nothing so she shouldn’t have any!! Please read yelp reviews!!! The truth is in yelp!!! The reviews you see on google are friends and family!! Everyone I spoke with that has dealt with this venue has had the same problem with the same person Kira!!!

If I could give no stars I would Keya is the person I was in contact with. Because of COVID I had to cancel my husbands party on my initial paperwork the deposit was non refundable. As I tried to dispute her transactions through my bank she sent in fraud paperwork stating the full amount was non refundable. My bank gave me 1 deposit back as a courtesy. But keya never gave me the remaining amount. I wouldn’t trust a business like this.

2nd time there for their Sunday Brunch. We arrived very close to the end of the brunch. However, food selection and quality is GREAT. Just as fresh and hot as the 1st time we attended, and that was right smack dab in the middle of the brunch. Omelette station a really big hit with my party. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Server attentive and informative. Atmosphere is wonderful.

The service was great! Our server was funny and told us about other local events that were perfect for our group. The food was delicious and ambience was perfect. Its cool to see a nice restaurant that isnt located downtown. I will definitely go back next time Im in Philly!

Very nice place

My girl friend had her wedding here and it was so beautiful place no too small and not too big. It was just right they have upstairs for dressing rooms etc bathroom etc to get ready etc. We had a blast here was even thinking about having an event myself here . Usually its pretty okay, but on this date, it was awful. When we first arrived, we had to wait for a table, which is unusual but not a problem except that the servers kept walking past us without telling us where to wait, how long it would be, or even saying anything to us at all. Then when we were finally seated, the server was pleasant, but I noticed there was a spill or a leak on the floor on both sides of the table. Also the server moved the table cloth further down on the table to accommodate us, but then there were stains still visible on the other side of the table where the table cloth had been. But she was nice and she did smile a lot. That was nice.But when I went up to the buffet, there were only three plates available and they were all dirty. 😦 And when clean plates were brought in, some of the servers who were serving food seemed like they really didnt want to be bothered. Just dumped the food on the plate like it was annoying them.I will say this. The popcorn chicken and the fried fish were AMAZING!!!! 💛💛💛💛 But the service and the leak or spill on the floor and the general feeling was not not worth it. My whole party (4 of us) agreed that this experience was not cool. Usually we love it there. But this one time it was not cool.

This place is the best buffet in town, at $9.95 you can’t beat the price. The quality of the food is amazing,the atmosphere is nice, they play a good selection of music, the staff is nice and accommodating, you feel at home. I would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family, thank you for a great Sunday brunch and I will be back!!!

Nice establishment. Its just you have to get a good ongoing process going to keep the food comming and people moving. Also crowd management is a must. Too many people and not enough table room to accommodate. Sundays should be reservations only. Known the how highly popular the spot is.

Professionalism at its BEST.. we secured the venue, for our Mothers surprise 60th birthday celebration. Can I say, we WERE NOT disappointed! Communication with Kira, the event manager, was great(via email, which is convenient), contract was clear and precise! On the day of the event, the hosts were most helpful! We provided our own food so cant comment on catering. This BEAUTIFUL establishment is very impressive & is a nod to the Black-Owned Business Community. They will always be our first choice for all future events.

The company was great! The venue left a little to be desired. It is a great space, but older. The staff was accommodating, but was cleaning the floors about 45 minutes prior to the event with bleach. It was tough to set up and left a stench that was still lingering when guests arrived.

If youre looking for a place to hold an event look no further than Keys Graves banquet hall! They have a full service operation, from the fully stocked bar to event catering all on location. Lets not even talk about the Sunday seafood brunch buffet: a fantastic selection of delectible dishes! I always visit when Im in town with family and you should too!

Great place for a party. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Only time i saw anything on the floor was when one of our kids dropped or spilled something and a staff member quickly cleaned it up without any attitude.

I had Keya Graves first in 2011 when I first made a trip to Philly. When I eventually moved here I had it again and let me tell you its well worth it. The food ranges from like $10 and up but you will be glad you purchased it. I had bought the Dungeon crab platter, everything was seasoned right and it was enough to feed two people. I really like how professional the people are when you go in there. I havent been in a while but I will definitely drive 30 minutes just to get more of that food.

The space is dark and the big oversized bar sitting in the middle of the room needs to be moved elsewhere. The venue contact person sends offensive emails She told me she be there from 5 to 7pm. I said ok. She then sent me an email to cancel me. I asked her why and she said because I didnt let her know what time I was coming. I responded Oh. I didnt know you wanted a specific time because you said youd be there from 5 to 7. If she wanted a time she should have asked for a specific time instead of aggravating me with a cancellation. Then after I viewed the hall she sent an email like I guess you picked somewhere else since I havent heard from you. Just annoying. Can I have time to think?. Can I speak with my Fiance? Most places let you view the hall if you want to book the space you call them.

Had my wedding on June 4 here and all I can say is that everything was great my guess was very impressed with everything. Kira was great with getting right back to me with any questions or concerns I had. I will definitely be hosting another event here and will tell all my friends.

I was very happy with my experience working with Keya Graves. The events manager Kira is the absolute best!!! She is very detailed, and keeps the event on track. She made sure my wedding was perfect!! It was exactly all I could have wanted, and because of her, and the staff here, it was. I would email Kira with a million bizilion questions, and she would answer them all immediately. Which never happens with other places! For what I paid, I could not believe everything that comes with the wedding package - the drinks where flowing, food was flowing, it looked beautiful. All my guests were happy. The food was great. Everything was perfect.

I attended a wedding in which the food was prepared by Keya Graves staff. It was hot and kinda tasty. No desesrts were provided which sucked but that could have been what the couple wanted.

The Sunday Brunch was disappointing. The food was cold and the wait for the omelets & waffles were extremely long. The older gentleman who was one of the servers slapped the food on the plate. I felt disrespected. You just don’t serve people like that and the serving size was very small and he looked at you as if to say, don’t think about getting any more. There’s no way I was gonna accept that kind of service.I explained everything to the manager except for the experience with the older gentleman and we left.

Food and staff were great! Celebrating here from now on. Really welcoming staff n feel to the environment.

I recently came to this place for an event. Needless to say this place was an absolute dump. Kira Graves is the rudest person I ever met. The food was beyond terrible. They need to revamp everything entirely. I would suggest that they fire the entire staff including Kira herself and start from the ground up. First thing Id like to mention is the fact that Kira is AMAZING!!!! She responds quickly to every text, email, or phone call. Throughout these months she remained professional at all times. I asked her a million questions and she gave me a million responses.The venue,The venue was beyond beautiful. Nice, clean, spacious, and reasonably priced. The bathrooms were clean, the bar was clean, the baretenders were friendly, and none of the drinks were watered down. Which is always a plus.As I told Kira, I will definitely be looking to have Keya Graves host an event in the future. Sooner than later.Last but not least, 3 free parking lots to accomodate all of your guests!!Id recommend to everyone if I could.
