Great trip for small group. Captain Josh was patient with our 8 year old grandson and me. He had me fishing like a pro by the end of the trip. Hes very knowledgeable about the area as well. We have already booked another trip in the fall, and are bringing friends. We highly recommend him.

This was the best fishing trip I’ve been on and I’m a native Mobilian who spent most weekends growing up out on the boat both inshore/offshore fishing. Great Captain, comfortable boat that is easy to fish off of, does his homework about best spots/bait for desired catch. Will definitely be going out with Lighthouse Fishing again!

I grew up coming down to the gulf coast a lot and I have been on plenty of fishing charters, but this one was BY FAR the best! Captain Josh took my family and I out and really went beyond what any other captain ever has to make sure we had an amazing experience, and he made sure we all got hooked up on the fish we were after. He really made it a special trip for my grandmother, who loves to fish, but hasnt really been able to the last few years. He was very patient and kind and made it feel like we had all been fishing together for years. Lighthouse Fishing will be my go-to charter from now on, and I will 100% recommend Captain Josh to everyone I know!

Contacted Josh though the Fishing Chaos app for a short window booking on Friday AM when driving down on Wednesday afternoon. Josh was great to communicate with and was super flexible to give us the opportunity to fish different areas while catching mainly Spanish mackerel and speckled trout. Josh will be our go to guide for any future trips.

Josh was absolutely amazing. Went fishing with my 9 and 6 year old. Josh was patient and taught the boys and myself a lot. Josh knows so great fishing holes and had me hooked onto a triple tail within the first 30 mins of fishing.

I’m a new boat owner an novice fisherman in the area. I asked josh to come along on my new boat so he could give me some useful tips on how to fish and operate the boat effectively. He was a great help in getting familiar with several of the features on my boat and of course was a wealth of knowledge on fishing. We caught bull reds, big specs, and sheepshead.He is a true professional and we had lots of fun!

Captain Josh and I went out on a day where the weather and wind were not in our favor but using his great fishing knowledge he made it work and we caught some nice fish. All in all the whole trip was a blast. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Absolutely wonderful experience! Had an amazing time - Captain Josh was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, taking us to amazing spots where we were able to find some incredible fish! I have never fished before in deep waters and I had an absolute blast, as did my partner, and we left feeling like we learned a thing or two about fishing. We will be going out on the boat again, hopefully very soon! If you want a fun experience with a knowledgeable captain, Lighthouse Fishing is the best choice.

We had a great fishing trip with Josh! He had great communication with us and it was easy to book... even if we booked last minute. We caught redfish, flounder, sheephead, and trout. Josh was very nice and a great guide along the way. My son and I had a blast and it was very worth the price!

Great Captain, good with kids and families, knows the waters and where the fish are no matter the weather. Would highly suggest Lighthouse fishing to anyone looking to fish Mobile Bay or near shore!

Today we had the pleasure of fishing with my cousin josh Tidmore of light house fishing. We left the dock at 5:00 am in a rain storm. We had to work for it but he put us on some nice specs and some triple tail. The boat was top notch and is a fishing machine. But the excitement of the day came at the end of the charter, where we snuggled up to a shrimp boat that was covered in big jacks. We all caught and landed 30 pounders, with the fight of a lifetime. We will be repeat customers, nothing feels better than supporting a super captain and local commercial fisherman. Thank you Josh, love you brother.

Josh to me out of Fort Morgan in search for sheepshead. He didnt disappoint. We limited out and had some real nice 8lbs in the mix. Even caught alot of snapper even though we couldnt keep them. If you are looking for a top notch guide give him a call. Everyone knows your not guaranteed fish Everytime but he does his best to put you on the bite and give you a great experience. I highly recommend!!!
