The repairman was absolutely wonderful. He took care of everything and we are so happy that it was fixed earlier today.

My repair guy did not come to play! He was knowledgeable, precise, and efficient. He had all materials and equipment needed for my door. A bit pricey but worth paying to not being aggravated.Note: I have the original customized door that was installed when the home was built.

DON’T EVER USE THIS COMPANY! I had a dreadful experience with this company. The company a fraud! They don’t give you a quote for a job on the phone. The technician must see it first. Without much experience with this companies, I scheduled an appointment to change the remote for the garage door. The technician came and told me that the price was $225. Without any doubt or question I agreed to pay. I had a huge surprise when I found out later that day that the average price for the remote replacement with programming and service is usually $125. He overcharged me $100. He offered then to check the spring, I agreed. He released the door from the engine, the door started sliding down. He claimed then that it was a real danger, stating what hypothetically what could happen. Since the property is rental, the entire scene was in front of my tenants. I sensed that he was trying to manipulate the situation to get more money out of me. I refused to change the spring. After he left I called five different companies for second opinion and nobody told me that I needed to replace the spring! I called the management and complained about his unethical behavior in front of my tenants. Moreover, I wanted to return their remote and get my money back since the price was not a regular market price and it was clearly that the technician was abusing the situation. The management refused to resolve this problem, stating that I agreed to pay by signing the bill. I strongly advise everyone not to use the company ever!

The tech was friendly, and knowledgeable. The price was fair and they didn’t try to sell me on repairs I didn’t need. They were also punctual.Great company. I will definitely use them again.

Matt, who came to my condo and analyzed the repair work required, returned with another technician and completed the job in a very professional manner. They removed the large pieces of balcony furniture and replaced them after the job was complete. Although it was not part of the estimate, they took the time to reattach a handle with new screws since the original ones were stripped; this they did at no charge.

Worst customer service ever!!! I paid in full for a sliding door to be installed and received an appointment date only for them not to show up. Then was given a new date 3 times only for them all to be cancelled. Was then told that the technician was sick and I would have to wait possibly 3 weeks. It would seem that they only have one technician to service Orlando. I feel like I was scammed. Thankfully I did not give them cash. Now I have to have my credit card company fight to get my money back.

I called this company requesting a free estimate for the sliding glass door at my tenant occupied property. I explained that I needed a quote to repair a door that was not working well. The appointment was punctual and I have no complaints in this regards. The technician came to property as scheduled. Even a day sooner. The technician proceeded to do the work without giving me the property owner the estimate. Charged my tenant $495 a woman for: 1) Changing 4 wheels on two doors, 2) Aligning the doors, 3) and cleaning the rail for the door. As you can imagine when my tenant shared this with me. I had major sticker shock. I called the company to ask why I did not get my free estimate. It took multiple calls and 3 days passed before I was called back. The call was from the technician. The technician had the audacity to tell me that I should have been there and that I was insulting the quality of his work. When I said to him that he told my tenant that each wheel was $80 plus labor he said that this was not true. When I asked him to break down the estimate. He immediately went back to saying that I was insulting the quality of his work. He even said that I should be thanking him for fixing the door. The wheels retail cost are $27.95 with 4 wheels thats parts at $111.80. He was there for 1.5 hours. $255.88 for Labor. REALLY!!! I WILL NEVER CALL THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!

I called them about my balcony sliding door that was stuck and wouldn’t open. A technician named Matt showed up within a few hours and fixed the problem quickly leaving my door working as smooth as butter. I couldn’t be happier with the service and a truly competitive price!!!

I called several different companies and no one answered or called me back But sliding glass door express answered the 1st time I called and scheduled me an appointment for the very next morning. George showed up on time and was very informative , knowledgeablevery, and professional and fixed my door in no time. I would highly recommend this company to everyone!

Here is exactly how my timeline with this company went. A very friendly man came to the house to measure and give us a quote, he told us in March that we should have an installation date by May due to the circumstances of 2020/2021. That was not a problem so we gave half the money to get the process started. May came and i decided to call to see how it was going, they did not receive my sliding doors yet and would call me when they came in. June I called again and they said they have received my sliding doors now they are just waiting on an installer to call me and pick and installation date. July I called again and was told an Installer would call me on the 26th. July 26th no call came. July 27th I called and said I did not receive a call back and they said the sliders were in the main store and needed to be shipped to them. Aug 3rd I called demanding a refund, I got a call back from someone new and they told me they already bought the sliders and theres nothing they can do, they told me they would call me back and schedule the installation.... that call never came. No one should have to wait 6 months just to get a call back. If the company cant handle the business they shouldnt take your money.

I called sliding doors express in the beginning of November and set up an appointment to have my glass sliding door lock changed. The gentleman came out replace the lock with one that was similar but not exact. (A minor detail that did not bother me.) The technician told me not to use the child safety latch because they tend to fail and it can lock you out. After a week I noticed that when I would shut the glass sliding door the little child safety lock would lock on its own. This went on for several weeks and I thought it was something I could live with until I actually got locked out of the house. I called the company to let them know that the lock was faulty and I was told that since it was past the 30 days I would have to pay a $29 charge. Not happy about having to pay this charge, I agreed to it. For two days in a row their technicians blew me off and didn’t show up. A complete waste of my time sitting around waiting for no one to show up. On the third day the technician showed up change the lock and proceeded to try to charge me $180 for a new lock plus the $29 fee. I already knew that I was not paying $180 for another lock. He proceeded to call the company and they clarified the issue stating I only had to pay them $29. When I brought out my credit card the technician had a fit, started yelling at me and talking over me because I did not have cash or a check. I told him I had no cash on me and I ran out of checks about two weeks ago. He offered to drive me to the bank to get more checks. He also stated that the receptionist answering the phone had no idea what she was doing. After a screaming match he pulled out a square and process my credit card. Even though he said he had no way to process it. This is absurd and highly unprofessional and I will never use this company again.

They responded the same day, were on tiem, worked hard and did a great job. They are expensive though.

I had a problem with my patio screen doors jamming. Scheduling was prompt and service person turned up on time. He was honest and did not try to “sell up” and cite “unnecessary repairs”. In fact, he alerted me to other issues that could happen down the rod.I had to pay for labor and this is where I give them a star less. It was $175 and I wish this had been disclosed to me at time of making the appointment. Apparently it is a minimum charge for labor. This should be on the website or disclosed at time of scheduling. Anyway, I was pleased with the overall repair. I recommend them highly.

Scheduled the service to fix a pair of 47 years old sliding doors and the process was simple and they kept me up to date on the arrival time for the techs. Never knew we had three sliding doors and after the cleaning and repairs voila, we have three sliding doors in the master suite and living room. Good service and work, pricing was fair when comparing to a full replacement.

Don’t waste your hard-earned money in this company.I called this company for a quote to service three sliding doors in my condo. I give them credit that the scheduling, on-time service was very good but their pricing was overly high and not worth it. The technician who prepared the estimate made it look like it was going to be a whole day job with expensive parts to be replaced. He gave me a 30% discount from the original estimate after a few calls with “his boss” and I accepted. Then he asked me for 50% advance to buy the parts, the parts I found out were only a small fraction of the price they told me. I’m talking $12 per roller instead of $80 as the technician stated.To schedule the job, once again it was very efficient and they showed up on time but the job only took them 2 hours instead of the “whole day”. They did a good job but I felt robbed by deception. The job was ridiculously over priced and all they said after my complaint was that this time they got lucky with the job.Later, I asked the maintenance manager in the condominium if he could have done the job. Indeed he could have and charged me only a fourth of what I paid. It was my bad for not doing my due diligence to quote somewhere else and I paid the price.As the popular saying goes “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me”…. There will not be a second time for me with this company.

Summary:Given my horrible experience, I would NOT recommend this company.I am INCREDIBLY disappointed and frustrated with my entire experience with Sliding Doors Express for SEVERAL reasons:- After spending $400 2 months ago, my sliding door no longer closes properly. Both the technician that fixed the sliding door, and the person over the phone said that the problem should be covered under warranty. However, the company refused to resolve the problem without charging an additional $125.- I feel as though I was misled by the company at multiple levels: First by the initial technician who said the sliding door was covered by the warranty. Second by the person on the phone who said the same after I described the issue to them. And after all of this time, effort and stress, my door is still not working properly.- I found the technician to be very rude. I also found the person over the phone had an uncaring/apathetic attitude when I explained the entire situation to them.Detail:First, before they came to fix my sliding door, the technician completely forgot our service appointment and neither he nor the company provided any notice. We had to reschedule for the next day and then he showed up late. Second, after they fixed my sliding door, the technician said that my sliding door had a 1 year warranty and that I should call the company should anything go wrong.2 months later, my sliding door would not close properly. I called the company and described the problem and was told that it would be covered by the 1 year warranty and that I would only pay $29 for the service call. The technician arrived, took one quick look at the sliding door and said that I would have to pay $125 on top of the $29 to resolve the problem. I explained that I was told by the last technician, and by the person over the phone, that the problem should be covered under warranty. The technician rudely said that the warranty somehow didnt apply because it wasnt covered. I showed him the receipt and pointed out that the receipt simply said 1 year warranty with no fine print. He then rudely asked if the sliding door glass smashed should the warranty cover that as well?. At this point, I paid the $29 for the service call and kindly asked him to leave. I called the company and the person over the phone had an uncaring/apathetic, not my problem type of attitude when I explained the entire situation to them.

Got through on a Sunday and they came within the hour. Very professional and very nice you g man who came and fixed the problem. Quickly and efficiently! Definitely recommend this company!

I had a screen door installed and the installer placed the handle 67 inches above ground level. Not sure why the handle is so high? Actually, not sure why a professional installer would even place a handle so high?And if you’re looking for the handle to get out…look up, it’s 61 inches from the floor.And, apparently this does not meet any standard code for door handle placement?I have gotten no response from the company. I have called, they would look into it. I sent pictures, they would check into it an get back to me. I talked to the person who sold me the door and he said the installer told him that was the way it is done now!?!Now, some weeks later I find the bottom hinge is binding and pulling the door away from the frame so it doesnt close firmly. And the whole thing is squeaking nosily.As people have looked at this installation they have pointed out that the sweep is not correct and there is a gap at the bottom. I have also been asked about the sloppy trim painting.At this point I would never recommend this company.

I called at 11:45. Original window was 2 hours later same day! Thats already impressive. The tech then called me about half hour later around 12:15 to tell me he was 20 minutes out. Again impressive. In a few hours, I had a new garage door set up. Tech did not leave until unit was working perfectly. Money well spent. Very good experience.

The glass separated from the aluminum bar of my 20-year old sliding glass door. I called Sliding Doors Express very concerned and asked for help as soon as possible. A technician was here in less than one hour. His name is Bar. He is bright, extraordinarily talented and competent, courteous, and hard working. The problem was unusual, but Bar was determined and imaginative. It took a while, but he put the door back together, and it is sliding smoothly. My wife and I are grateful to Bar and Sliding Doors Express for being so immediately responsive and competent.

The lack of professionalism is unparalleled. This has been the worst experience ever. From the get go, they have been dropping the ball on getting county / HOA permits. After nearly a year, my permit has finally been submitted to county ( SUPPOSEDLY).

This morning I had an emergency with one of the larger sliding glass doors in our home and the door was stuck and would not close. I called Sliding Door Express at 9:00AM and within an hour I had a technician at the house to repair it. Steve the technician was very professional and knowledgeable in his job. He replaced the track and wheels on our sliding glass door, was very clean in his work and within an hour and a half was done. Not the cheapest but totally worth the timely manner and result.

Initially it seemed like this would be a good company to work with. The technician sent out to provide an estimate was prompt and friendly. The trouble started thereafter. Waited 2 months for them to get our door order, then after repeated missed installation appointments (us having to call them, as they never called us at all) we were finally told that they had ordered the wrong size and it would take another 6 weeks to get our doors. I told them that we wanted to cancel the whole thing and was told that a “manager” would contact me. No one has ever reached out to me EVER. I have initiated every contact. No manager ever called back. None of the 8 emails I sent were ever answered. Do not do business with this company. We ended up initiating a dispute with our CC company because we get zero response from these people.

Perhaps the best service company weve had in 40 years. I would highly recommend them. Polite, courteous, knowledgeable, professional and quality work at great value.

This team was truly awesome along every step of the way. They called back within minutes of me leaving a voicemail for them. I really want to give a special shout out to Lynn though. We set an appointment for the following day between 4-6 but she said she would call back if anything sooner became available as I did have a whole in one of sliding doors. Most companies will say this but Lynn actually followed through later that night by calling back not once, but twice!They ended up having a team out within the hour of that follow up. First time with anything like this so I dont know how competitive they are with pricing, but Im not going anywhere else after this experience. Very convenient and responsive every step of the way.

My two balcony doors were very hard to open. Had to use two hands and full body power to slide them open. Rodrigo, a very pleasant young man, came that same afternoon and cleaned the rails, installed premium rollers on the doors, replaced the screen mash and rollers, and now the sliding doors can be easily opened with ONE FINGER, as well as the screen doors. I highly recommend Sliding & Garage Door Express for guaranteed quality service. Excellent job. Very happy with the results.

Who is Donna? I inquired to a different 5star company. Got a response from another company. I dont know how I ended up with this company. But, I did. I was quoted a price. Agreed to the price. But, when the job was completed. It is a different price. The price I was quoted was for cash . I was going to pay by check. The service person said to make it to cash. I dont do that for a service person. The next option I was told credit card. That is what I finally ended up doing. But with the fee the job ended 28.00 more than I was quoted.

The service was great! The repairs person was able to identify the problem fast and fix it in a couple of hours; was very professional and nice; also was able to explain in plain terms what the issue was and how to prevent it from happening again (gave good pointers on future maintenance and sustainability). The only negative I have to say is that he didnt clean up after himself (left some screws, drill shavings, and dirt) after the job was completed, but everything else was great! Would definitely use their services again!

October 2019 I paid for 5 sliding door roller and track replacement. I also tipped the tech nicely. I prior to giving a deposit for this job I discussed warranty of parts and labor free of charge for 1 year with Caesar. There after parts are covered.Withi. 7 months 1 of the doors rollers began to not work. With concern I called to make an appointment for replacement under warranty.To my suprise the tech indicated I have to pay 225$ labor. [Mind you the total cost for 5 doors was 493.00$Then the tech said, you have to call office, the office person Lynn said the best her and the owner can do is 10% off. I said ABSOLUTELY no! This is wrong. Then the tech had the balls to ask me to pay a service call feeIt is unacceptable. AND POOR quality parts used. And not to honor the warranty.I do NOT recommend this company.I am very disappointed!L. Nero

Had a small window to fix.. two weeks ago. No temp fix, and the window is open.. asked 2x for this.. now they are saying next week??!! Also I paid half upfront for this. Do not use them. Terrible service. Sad that they put people through this..

I needed a new handle for my front door. First impression was really good. Installer was there on time and told me i should get my new handle in 3-5 days. Then things quickly went south. After waiting 5 days i called to check in and was told that the new time was 7 to 10 business days. After two more weeks of daily calls to learn status it turns out they had never ordered the part and that the manufacturer was out of business. Net it took them a month to install a simple handle. Wouldnt recommend using them

The installation was fine and the job was good craftsmanship.Communication does needs to improve 10 fold. Very fast to communicate to take payment , not so fast to communicate status of the door and installation day.Also there was no transparency have a 3% fee an extra $30 being added to a credit card payment. It would’ve been nice to have been told that up front to considering paying another way.

I have waited over 7 weeks for a screen door replacement that was supposed to take 2. First it arrived to their warehouse damaged took 2 more weeks, then it arrived but no one called for an installation appointment another week, then it went to the wrong warehouse another 2 weeks - all while they kept telling me it was next week and i have an installation appointment. Now its we can either wait another few weeks to send it from one warehouse to another or give me back my deposit !! Seriously this is the worst customer service, and poorly ran business I have ever dealt with. I do not recommend using this company.

Had a sliding door installed 3 weeks ago and to this day water seeps in and they have not responded to multiple requests to fix it.dry wall will be damaged and the lawsuit will come.

I have had 2 sliding door repaired by them at fifferent times. The technicians in both cases were courteous, professional and very knowledgeable snd well trained.

Please don’t choose this company!I called what I thought was a local company in my area but instead, it was a call company that sent a technician from Sliding Doors to repair my garage door. Not realizing the prices of springs and an opener, I let the technician do the repair. He charged me over $1000 for two springs, which he told me had a lifetime warranty (which I since learned is a scam) and a Chamberlain mid range garage door opener for $675 ( which I checked prices the next day and saw that it was under $200 at Home Depot) BTW, he was doing the work in the evening and left for 40 min to go get the opener. I now believe that the price was decided after he came to my house and took apart the springs so I was anxious to get the door running properly. When I called the business the next day, the receptionist/supervisor told me that she doesn’t know any prices of the products and only the technician and his supervisor know the prices. I blame myself for not acknowledging the numerous red flags when dealing with this business. They probably tripled the cost of both items and my only recourse is the BBB.BTW, the tech told me he couldn’t take a credit card or check and insisted that I pay with Zelle (I regret doing that!)Please, find another company!

We used the Garage Door Express part of this business, as we had seen their ad and coupon in Val-Pak that comes through the mail. They replaced our very old garage door opener, rollers, and fittings the same day we called them. The door now opens fully with little noise! What a change!

NEVER AGAIN!The technician they sent (Daniel) was rude, defiant and in very bad mood. They didnt have the proper rollers for my door and instead they installed the ones they like, and even bet that they were the right ones. After disassembling one of the doors with original rollers, they realized that they were wrong. When assembling back the door, this man broke the roller and then said that he didnt, and that i had to pay for an additional one. Fortunately I took a picture and demonstrated that it was okay before. I had to talk to a supervisor, not very friendly who at the end decided to do the right thing. Very bad experience for a job that should be easy for the price it costs.Dont use this company, instead ask you neighbors and friends for recommendations.

Sliding Doors Express was excellent! Ben was flexible in providing an appointment quickly and easily. Alfonso, the service man, was awesome. He was very professional, detailed and knowledgeable in all things sliding doors & screen doors. He repaired my sliding door of 14 years that we could barely open or close. Now with one finger I can easily slide the door. Alfonso was very meticulous and thorough, in addition he left everything clean and picked up. I highly recommend their services.

Stay away from this company, they did a terrible job at my house.Their prices: They would send a supervisor to provide you with an estimate which is way below of what they will charge you at the end, and you will end up paying at least 50% over market price. I can prove this with another quote, from previous jobs done by a different company.Their service: they sent two technicians, the helper knew more than the lead technician. They literally destroyed the door trying to adjust it, after they installed new rollers, prying on the door frame an leaving marks everywhere, putting washers that you could see and hitting the frame with a hammer deforming it, also leaving marks on it (frame has had no issue before).Their customer service: when they finished, knowing the door was not working well, they asked me to test it to see if it could “pass”, I rejected it and asked them to fix it. They spent two more hours with no success, and their best strategy was to convince me that the door was working fine. The situation escalated to the point where I asked to talk to their manager, Ben. He was even more disrespectful, laughing at me over the phone, saying that he knew I was doing all this because I didn’t want to pay. That he trusted his technicians and that the door was fixed and I had to pay, he didn’t have to see the job they did, that I was wrong, not them. I asked them to leave my property. I told them I wouldn’t pay the balance until they fixed the door. The manager was supposed to call me back, but instead I had to call him to get them back here and finish with the job.It took three more days, and several calls, to get a supervisor back here to confirm I was right and finally fix the door, by himself.As I said before, stay away from this company.

Adam was very experienced and professional. He went above and beyond to make sure my sliding glass door was working properly. Highly recommend.
