I want to love this place and typically have a 3 strike rule. Every time I get a tech besides the owners it has gone wrong. 4th strike - crooked big toe nails and so much polish on the fingernails she didn’t even use a top coat because it wasn’t drying because she layered on so much polish (I was sent home to apply it myself since I brought my own polish). Not to mention she filed the fingernails down so short it was sanding my skin. If you don’t get the owners it’s been my experience you are better to save your money and wait.

I love this nail salon, I can’t typically find a nail salon that I want to keep coming back to but i’ve been multiple times now! It sometimes takes a bit of time but I think it’s worth the wait and the prices are good!

I have been going to this salon for over 5 years. I am disabled and haven’t been in a while but it felt like home once again. They welcomed me and was so happy to see me. Tammy did my nails which came out so perfect! She knows how to be a perfectionist and makes sure I like what I get. My nails were shaped perfectly and are perfect for the holidays. Jessica also is amazing doing feet! She has such a good heart and we always are laughing! She makes sure your feet look beautiful and that she covers everything for your pedi! She did my moms nails which were absolutely beautiful! I would just recommend making appointments cause they can get busy but that’s because they are an amazing business!

They are very nice BUT when I walked in with my daughter I told them exactly what we needed done and asked for a price. When it was time to pay, it was $5 more for each. Why do they do this? When I asked the man/owner, (who had given me the prices) why it was more, he said yes, it was a full set. Of course its a full set I didnt ask for the price for 1 hand!

They are very good however some of my sequences fell off and I ask the lady that was doing my nails to make sure it laid flat.

After less than a week, my nails were already lifting. My cuticles were cut and bleeding. Their employees’ quality of work has gone down so much! Especially this past year. This last time was terrible. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I was scheduled on Thursday in my call I did mention my nail tech. I arrived on time . However, I was placed with wrong tech after waiting for 20 minutes. They rescheduled me for today at 10am. I had car 🚗 trouble my daughter called for me then I followed up when I was close two minutes. I was told had to reschedule. I feel they were unprofessional when I had to wait so long on Friday then be placed with wrong nail tech. Now I have to find another place for my nails to be done. I am a Sped educator it’s hard to find time plus I am grieving my mother lost from Covid. I just wish they could of given they and grace I gave on Thursday.

Just left there in tears. There about two hours for a basic pedicure and manicure. Only the manicure happened and was done very poorly at that. Nails not cleaned underneath and cut crooked. Saw a lot of the staff double dipping the wooden sticks for lotions/scrubs for pedicures. Using used nail trimmers as well. Not a sanitary salon. Heavy staffed but no one was available to do my manicure even though that’s what I asked for. Understand it’s Friday and busy but if you’re not able to provide a service let the customer know instead of having them waiting around. The worst nail experience I’ve had. Save your money people go to a better and cleaner spot. Learned my lesson never to come back here again.

Awesome ! Their attention to detail is incredible. They take their time and dont rush like other salons. The whole salon is clean, relaxing, and professional. My nails are always perfect for weeks!

I usually have a good experience here. The gel doesn’t ever match the dip even tho they go together. The gel is usually still pretty just not a perfect match. The last time I was here I waited an hour before anyone started. They were busy, but there were people helped ahead of me that came in while I took my daughter to the restroom. It was a one off. 9 times out of 10 everything is great.

I called early this morning and scheduled pedicures and full body massages. It was a birthday gift for my husband. Upon arrival we could only get pedicures because it wasn’t anyone to do the massages. I was so disappointed.

I’m usually pleased when i leave this shop. Recently, however, I’ve been going back at least once a week this past month to fix some problems with my nails. Now my gel polish is peeling on my toes one day after i got it done. I always leave a tip and never have an attitude. That shouldn’t dictate the type of service i get, but i would at least take care of my clients if they leave a generous tip. One thing i do appreciate is that they fix the problem when i come back, free of charge. I just wish i wouldn’t have to come back (so soon) in the first place.

I have been coming to this place for years now. Never disappoints. I do try other places, and nope, this is the place. We waited for quite a while without being informed of it. The nails were cut unevenly and they never asked if the water or wax was comfortable. The people were very nice and my nails were painted well.

Very disappointed I got a spa mani and pedi. Mani being a gel manicure and 2 days later the polish was already chipping off. Went in to have it fixed and because I didn’t remember who it was( all wearing masks) there was nothing they could do about it. So I just spent $42 for a spa gel manicure to last 2 days. Needless to say I will take my business else where.

I use to come to this salon frequently and always had good service. The last two visits were terrible. I came in today with a picture of what I wanted and had the front desk lady match the colors. Halfway through I tried to tell the lady the color wasnt right but she insisted it would be after she buffed my nails. The finished product is nothing like I wanted and when I asked them to fix it I was questioned and told they could redo them for partial price (in addition to what I already paid). It wasnt until I got very upset on the phone that the girl passed me to the manager who said she would fix it but by that time I was so mad and have zero desire to even give them the opportunity to make it right. I will never return to this salon again.

I got a gel nail manicure and it only lasted three days when the polish started popping off. Not a good experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Best nail experience. There is wine, soda, and water. The massage was actually firm. There were no high pressure sales to increase your selection and they let you sit next to the friend that you came with (verses 6 feet away). I’ll be back for my weekly pedicure.

This was my first time coming to May Nail spa and I will definitely come back. I did the dip powder manicure with Pam and she did a really great job. The mini forearm massage and hot towel at the end was a nice surprise.

Asked for a mani and eyebrow wax. Nails were painted horribly, lady didn’t say one word to me. Rang me up when my nails were done... guess they didn’t wanna do my eyebrows. Could feel they were annoyed a guy wanted color and brows done. This was my usual place but the last few times their service and final product have been horrible. Wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Amazing experience! I took my daughters and their best friend (between ages 4-8) to celebrate a birthday with manicures and pedicures. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The girls got pampered and no short cuts were taken. Of course they also enjoyed soda and cookies to go along with the experience. I would highly recommend May Nails Spa and will be a repeat customer.

The employees are so rude, we had appointment and we waited for more then 1 hr to the point my mom didn’t even had her nails done their not clean and very messy the girl who was doing my nails kept walking away to do someone else nails. My sister was sited and then got taken out of her seat for someone else there was someone who came after us and they did her service before mine. DO NOT RECOMMEND WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. I also asked for clear tip with butterflies in one of my nails the lady didn’t even put a clear tip they didn’t push the cuticle back and the nail shape is just horrible.

This place might be number one in Dallas. They have a wide variety of packages and also offer spa treatments outside of pedi and mani. In the many years coming here staff has been friendly, professional, and know their craft. Would highly recommend this place!

I dont think ive ever given a nail salon 5 stars. I have nothing negative to say about this shop. I love the decor. It is fancy and elegant and huge. They have over 20 pedicure chairs. Their prices are decent and they have a lot of pedicure options. Its been 2 weeks and my nexgen dip nails still look good.

Mai was awesome and did exactly what I wanted, super skinny coffin dip!! First time here and will for sure be my new spot!

3 days later 2 of my new nails popped completely off. They were soooo thin.. Bye bye $75. After the pandemic, the service and quality have declined tremendously and the prices have increased.I also received a pedicure and my big toe is in a lot of pain after! Will visit the nearest doctor if irritation continues

When there for the first time due to the positive reviews but My Girlfriend nails were horrible. Not what she wanted. The lady messed up and had to redo the whole thing over. 2 hrs later...my girlfriend nails was bleeding..nail glue everywhere on her fingertips. Won’t be going there again. My husband and I got pedicures for our Anniversary. I had three toes that the nail polish completely came off of in less than 2 days. So sad, as we spent a lot of money to go there and tipped really well.

They shaved the gel off my toenail and broke my actual nail. Still charged me full price. I’ve been coming here for 2 years. They used to be the best nail shop in North Dallas. I won’t be going back.

I will say this about this place- your experience here depends on who you get. Ive never had a real bad experience here however I kept trying different ladies in here for the manicure until I found one that was a perfect fit for me.- Ive noticed from all the times I come that some of the ladies get more experience dealing with pedicures more than the manicures.Overall quite happy to have found this place.

This is the only nail salon I go to I have found my nail tech who always go the extra mile to do my nails exactly how I want them. Kim is the best she always make my experience awesome and I always get compliments on my nails. I typically go to anyone to get a pedicure since they’re all pretty good.

This was my first time coming here and it was horrible everything I asked for my nails I kept being told no. This is the first time I’ve been to the nail shop where my opinion about my nails doesn’t matter. Then the person that’s doing my nails just wants to do the basic and then on top of that did not do a good job of cleaning my nails. To the point It snapped not even with an hour of me leaving the shop.When I return to have my nails fixed instead and fixing my whole Nail they glued the piece back on and you can tell that it was piece back together. I would not recommend the shop to anybody Who likes to get creative with your nails if you don’t just want a solid color on your nails this is not the shop for you

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! It is very hard for me to rate ANY nail shop at 5 stars, but this nail spa is absolutely amazing!! I am NOT normally a pedicure type of person.....but my very first experience here was for a pedicure service. I was serviced by Lynn AND OMG SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really loved the fact that online it says that they close at 8 pm, THEY WERE STILL SERVICING PPL UNTIL 7:50pm ON A FRIDAY!!!!! Lynn offered my a beverage during the service and my friend and I shared a glass of there red and white wine. This is definitely going to be my go to.

I was greeted quickly upon arrival. I loved that there were books that contained a polish nail with the color on so that you could see what it looked like. The price of my gel polish was $20 & eyebrow wax was $10. I absolutely loved how well Cynthia polished my nails. However, I did not love the eyebrow service. My previous technician from Louisiana knew how to shape my eyebrows by trimming them with scissors after waxing. My eyebrows still look wild. I wont be getting my eyebrows waxed here again, but I would definitely get my nails done here again.

Good work however spent $90 broke a nail the the next day and they charged me. Probably wont go back not considerate of the customers. Never ask me if I want a drink.

First time coming. Went during lunch and asked about time concerns. Was assured but ended up being 20 min over expected time. Massage according to menu was supposed to be 18 min but I timed it 11 min. Even then the majority of massage was on my shins which doesnt need massaging. Large selection of polish but if you look closely a lot of them are same color just different brands. At the end they used a paper towel for a spacer which messed up the polish. For a $40 pedicure it wouldnt hurt to have a better selection, a legit toe spacer, and the tech actually fulfill massage time.The spa was super clean and staff was very friendly. Just not given the service that was advertised.

My day off today and I decided to go and get a manicure. I saw this salon while looking around and my first impression of this place is just fantastic! Its very clean and the techs working here are very friendly and polite. When I was getting my manicure done, the nail tech was very gentle with me and she comply to all my little requests throughout the process. When it was over, my nails look absolutely beautiful! She did such a wonderful job I tipped her thirty dollars! This place is so wonderful. I highly recommend getting your manicure here! You wont regret it at all!

The salon was very clean. Mai and Victoria was awesome. The lady that did my nails English was extremely limited. My nails were not symmetrical in shape and some areas were extremely thick. The owner had to attempt to fix which it was better but definitely not professional. I got eyelash extensions and they were like whiskers very spread out and going straight up. If you like neat nail that are professional please keep going. This is my first review to ever write about any business. Let Mai or Victoria do your nails ONLY or dont stop.

I went this morning and the lady who did my pedicure didn’t cut my toe nails, no lotion, stuck them in water for only a minute. It was a huge waste of time and still payed $26 just for paint basically.

She did exactly what I wanted( which is pretty complex compared to a normal manicure ) the shape ,color(s), thin but not flimsy, they came out perfect due to her perfectionism! She really does want your nails to look as amazing as you do..and shes super fast!The only suggestion I would make is booked an appointment for you go in..

I always go see Jessica to get my nails done. She does an excellent job and puts in time and effort to seek perfection. I love my nails everytime she touches them! The rest of the staff is very friendly and have a way of making you feel cared for the moment you walk in the door. Im so happy I found this place and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Walk-in for shape and cuticle. Seated promptly. Nails put in barely tepid water (too cool, shouldve been warm) and nothing else. Waited 10 minutes before someone (3rd person to do so) finally started to do my nails. I was basically ignored as conversation was held around me. Basic nail job done was mediocre. Wanted nails short. They got cut down to quick (thats too short). Cuticles done well enough. Ended doing additional filing and shaping after I left. I was no fuss and simple. Disappointed and wont return.

While I was pleased with the outcome of my facial, the woman doing it answered a personal phone call during my facial which I thought was very strange. In addition, it was my first time there so I was not familiar with the facial options. I told her I wanted the most basic facial (as I was on a budget) and she charged me for the 2nd least expensive one. When I went to check out and described that I had asked for the most basic, she refuted my statement and told me that it is not what she considers the most basic one? I should have been charged for what I asked for, but I was on a time crunch and needed to leave. Regardless, I enjoyed the outcome of the facial.

Ive been to alot of nail salons in Dallas and the first time that I walked into Mays I felt at home right away. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The services offered are incredible, it is one of the best all around experiences that you will have. Plus you leave looking and feeling great. Check this place out, you wont regret it.

First time experience was good. Second time two of my nails came off the following day. I came back to have them repaired and the nail tech seemed as she did not want to fix the nails. This location is over priced for the service provided. I will not be returning to this nail spa in the future.
