These guys are scam artists. Do NOT bring anything valuable here! I brought my hard drive which holds most of my small business historical records on it to get repaired on March 20, 2021. Its May 28, 2021 and they still havent returned it!I called about 20 times, visited the shop, and had them tell me they were mailing it back to me about 4 times already! Guess what? They never mailed it back. Now Im forced to pursue legal recourse which takes time away from worrying about my business.Want to know the best part? When I dropped it off they told me it would take them a week, and then charged me nearly $70 which Ill never see again. Thanks for the scam, guys!

Every five star review on here is fake. The place doesnt actually fix your equipment, because theyre scam artists. They charged me $67 and then took my hard drive to ship off to a data recovery center. They said it would take 7-8 days.Ive been going back and forth with them for the last 2 months trying to get my property back! Ive been scammed by scam artists, and I hope anyone reading this doesnt fall victim to their fake five star reviews like I did!

THEY WILL RUIN YOUR COMPUTER. They do not have more than basic knowledge that they use to confuse less knowledgeable consumers into using their services. I came in with a motherboard issue and left with a broken graphics card. Their answer was to hold my computer for weeks only to do no more repairs. My computer is worse than before I spent 700 dollars. They threw their hands up and said if it passed their own 13 point test then it works. My computer apparently passed this test. It does not work. Now I have to buy a new graphics card and Im out 700. Wonderful. Might as well use geek squad lolol

I brought my computer in a few weeks ago to do a backup...I wanted everything put back on except my pictures...They said this would be no problem.I dont have access to Microsoft Office a program that cost me nearly 200 dollars... now I have to pay for it all over again! This service didnt even cost me 200 dollars but it didnt save me any money either!Its very simple for this to be added back on.. but I dont have the code anymore and they refused to do this when I asked them too... They wanted me to pay another charge.. I refuse to pay twice for a service.

I’m at this business at 9:10 and no one is here to open the store.I brought my computer in for diagnosis...They told me they were unable to get it fixed until yesterday because they lost power in their building for several days...Understandable.but now I am trying to get my computer fixed.. and no one is here.... they aren’t answering the phones.I chose the shop because it was the most affordable and available and I run a business with my computer and needed it done ASAP!I hope they resolve my issue and come to work soon.

If you have issues with your laptop this is the place to go! I couldn’t find anyone to fix my Dell due to liquid damage, but this business was able to fix it in a timely manner and it wasn’t expensive. They stayed in constant communication with me and were also very friendly.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE 5 STAR REVIEWS. PC SERVICE DALLAS IS A FRAUDULENT BUSINESS AND A SCAM.I chose PC service Dallas to have the keyboard replaced on my MacBook Pro, because the keys were sticky and making strange sounds due to a small spill on the keyboard (other than the feel and sound, the keyboard and every other part of the machine was performing normally.)Sam told me they would install a “Grade A,”brand new keyboard in this machine. Sam failed to inform me that this keyboard would be taken from another MacBook Pro that they had in their shop, which is a used machine and therefore it is not grade A condition.When I initially arrived to drop off my computer to have the keyboard replacement done, Sam attempted to convince me to also have them replace the battery, and proceeded to show me the battery cycle count, which read at over 1100. I said that I did not want to replace the battery, as even though the cycle count was high, it has been working normally.I paid $320 and signed the paperwork for the keyboard replacement in the morning. (Note: I have now learned you should never pay upfront for a computer service that has not yet been completed.) Sam said the computer would be ready later that same day. Just before 3PM that day, Sam called me and AGAIN, attempted to convince me to pay $200 to have them perform a battery replacement, saying that he had just received a new package of batteries for MacBook pros and I once again declined the service.Then, after initially stating the computer would be ready by the time the shop closes at 7 PM, Sam called me back at 3PM and said that there were “a few keys that still need to be installed.” This statement in and of itself doesn’t align with service requested, a brand new keyboard replacement, because new MacBook Pro keyboards come as one unit.Sam told me to come back and pick it up on the following day, Sunday, even though their google profile states PC Service Dallas is closed on Sundays. I questioned them about this, and Sam said the shop would be open regardless.I arrived to the shop on Sunday morning and initially, the computer seems perfectly normal, and so does the keyboard. so I take it home and use it the following day on Monday for work only to find that my space bar was not working properly and all of a sudden my computer started to say “ Service recommended new battery” which at first I thought was just a coincidence, I called Sam back that same Monday and he would replace my keyboard again, I trusted him yet again. I went in the following Saturday to have the keyboard replaced and I picked it up that same day at around 7 PM. I asked for my computer and after waiting 10 minutes I started to question where my computer was they brought it out attached to my charger and I questioned why they needed to recharge my computer in order to turn it on, because I had specifically left it at 100% when I dropped it off that morning and Samm said that they needed to turn it on even though all they had to do was a keyboard replacement which does not require any battery power.He proceeded to plug in the charger to the power supply and my computer after taking more than 5 minutes for my computer to turn on it, which it had never had an issue turning on even if the battery did die, and as we all know with MacBook Pros when you plug it in it takes less than a minute max to turn on. It finally turned on and I noticed that it was acting very slow, though the keyboard was fixed.(REVIEW CONTINUED IN NEXT REVIEW)

Legitimately one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a business. Do your self a favor and just go directly to MicroCenter and avoid this headache called a “business”. I brought in my laptop to have the screen fixed as it was in the process of going out. Long story short I had over a month of excuses and blaming their own vendors. After which I took my computer back IN PIECES after they admittedly pried open my glass screen with a knife. The employee working there clearly had no training to work on devices, and the owner did nothing to remedy the situation.

I usually like to do things on my own. But when all else failed i had to take my laptop too someone and im glad that i took it them. They communicated with me every step of the way. And i was able to get my device back in a timely manner. Id like to say thx again.

I paid almost 500 dollars to have my computer repaired at this place...I specifically asked them to call me with the diagnosis and they never did!They just did a bunch of repairs and they ended up not working to fix the problem of the computer shutting down on its own, and charged me.I brought to computer in everyday for a week asking them to repair it, and on the 7th day I said I need a refund.The man asked for the computer...and then when I gave it to him. He said he was taking his part back, and he wasnt going to refund my money. I grabbed the computer back and he called the police, I left.I called a few days later and asked him if they were going to resolve the issue.... he said again, that they werent going to give my money back, and I hurt his armI am not really sure what type of business practice this is but from my experience this is theft. But I dont like cops so I dont call them to fix my problems.

These guys scammed me out of $67 and my property. Technically thats theft. Ive been trying for 3 months to get it back, and every time I talk to them they say its in the mail.Its been in the mail for the last 2 months, apparently.My advice would be if youre looking to waste a bunch of money and sit through the worst experience of your life, go to this store and talk to these scam artists.

Came here a couple of months ago to fix my iPhone . Had issues with my iPhone again and turns out it was covered under the warranty. They fixed it for me. Nice people. Highly recommend them. Even helped me setup my new Apple ID.

On recommendations from a co-worker that was very satisfied with her service she received, I took my laptop here to be repaired. I must say that I too am a satisfied customer. Sam was knowledgeable from onset, he knew exactly what I needed done. The price was much less than the new laptop I had purchased and returned. The turnaround time as shockingly fast, same day. I will and have recommended PC Service Dallas to others. Side note had to call back for assistance and was readily assisted!

I went here and have to buy a whole new phone or pay a few hundred to get my phone fixed again as a result. Just go to Apple. The risk-free service they will provide is well worth the price.When I first got my phone back, the screen was on occasion unresponsive. I didnt think anything and thought it would have just been a software bug. Two weeks later, my screen popped out completely when I accidentally dropped it from 1-2 feet in the air with a case.. This caused my screen to become constantly unresponsive. This happened 2 weeks after the repair.The funny thing is that I dropped my phone off at this shop with waterproofing adhesive. After the repair, I noticed the adhesive was not used. I ask why and was told they used a paste instead which works just as well and that my adhesive was too thin. Turns out that was a lie to save face. Thanks to this lie, I have a mostly unresponsive phone and a damaged motherboard. The service seemed great and was quick, however, things like this just should not slide. The only options I am now left with now are to either repair my phone for a few hundred AGAIN or buy a new phone.

Save your money. I went here for data recovery since operating system was deleted off computer, they had my computer for over a month and never called me to keep me updated. I had to continuously call for updates. Then I pickup the computer and the computer would never boot and continuously would restart. This place will take your money and do nothing.

Sam who works there and helped me with my laptop was very professional and honest I must say I went to three different places prior and all places gave me the run around and told me I had to just replace a whole screen it would cost $300-$500 for my laptop screen without evening taking to time to unscrew inspect or offer to try and exhaust all other options I was very disappointed and new after doing my own research that it could have been a faulty semi unplugged switch from inside to my laptop screen and I shared that with Sam he offered (even before explaining my issue) to open the machine up and evaluate it long story short he simply cleaned and secured the plug then screwed it back on and it started working again without anymore issue he didn’t lie to add more problems to try and get off on me for more money he was up front and honest with me the whole time which is rare in that line work. I definitely would recommend him and that place of business they have a customer for life with me and a trustworthy friendly relationship.

I highly recommend PC Service Dallas. The work was done quickly and well. Sam was patient with all of my Im not a techie questions. They fixed one laptop that needed a new drive and upgraded it to Windows 10. So I took in a very old desk top and they managed to save all my files from a deteriorating internal drive to an external drive. I wanted my laptop to function like a desk top and they told me how to do that and use the old screen, so now I have two. When my IBM Selectric keyboard had the wrong cord to connect, they gave me an old one that would work from their back room. I found their prices reasonable and trust their judgment. Sam makes himself available to answer questions -- even now. Excellent work!

I am really glad that I found this computer repair shop. My computer was really slow and was making metal noises. I figured there was something wrong with the inside parts of the computer. So I took my Lenovo Laptop to the store to have it diagnosed. The employee there was really helpful. After the diagnosis, which took about 2-3 hour and he gave me a callback and told me what the issues with my computer were and recommended to upgrade to a new SSD and after matching my budget and what type of work I do in my computer recommended me to get a 480gb ssd which I agreed to. After my approval he went ahead with the repair and in another 30 minutes or so my laptop was ready for pickup. Now my laptop is really fast and I am enjoying this Metallica video on my latpop. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who want a quick computer repair done.

I spilled coffee on my laptop while working at a coffee shop. I immediately Googled the nearest computer repair place and took it in. Sam had it cleaned overnight and back to me the next day. This review is a testament to its working condition. Impressed with his work, I thought Id have Sam take a crack at my old iPhone, which Apple deemed irreparable due to water damage. Not only did he recover the data for me, he restored it to working condition. I wont take my electronics anywhere else in Dallas to be serviced.

Sam was extremely rude and was very wasteful of my time. Made me order a replacement RAM which was wrong and then made me wait additional time for the correct component to come in. Cost me more money and time than I wanted to spend . Don’t even know if Newegg will let me return. Also I’m using a different name than I did at the store so it won’t be accurate Sam if you choose to reply.

I thought I had a retrieval error ony Dell, that was 10 years old. I did a ruined hard drive disk. Sam replaced the disk and reinstalled windows. I did lose some data but recovered it from Carbonite. Fast work, good repair, fair price.

They charge a diagnostic fee, then when they know what is wrong they will call you. They let you know the price of the repair to let you decide what works for you and if the repair is worth your time and money. The guy who works and maybe owns the place, also told me that they can do data retrieval if you need it and cannot get your computer functioning again!

First of all they diagnosed my MacBook Pro and let me know that I had issues with my hard drive. After that they tried to fix my hard drive by formatting it. But it didn’t work and I had to replace the hard drive and they installed operating system on my MacBook and when it was not booting from inside they let me know about making it functional by booting from outside. Really appreciate them. Check them out guys.
