The place is a paperwork blackhole, which is not a good attribute of an investment firm. Their claims of returns, exits, and success were not verifiable. The CEOs credentials were not verifiable. Wildcatters does not appear on cap tables of companies they are claiming as being part of their portfolio. They appear to have interns and volunteers posting positive reviews online to bury the negative reviews of actual investors and entrepreneurs. Without question, this is the worst run investment firm I have come across in the USA.

It is evident that this business lacks any qualified, professional management or oversight. I am surprised the US government does not better regulate such financial institutions. Tech Wildcatters claims are baseless and to put it bluntly, false and misleading. When I first heard about the mismanagement, I was skeptical. That is no longer the case.

I had the pleasure of attending a lunch hosted by Tech Wildcatters. It was an overall amazing experience as I got the chance to meet with some of the exciting startups involved in their 2019 fall training camp. I look forward to seeing the growth of these companies as well as Tech Wildcatters, who continue to develop their already impressive portfolio!

Whats this new vision? I know the CEO and sole employee. Well known con with numerous reviews online to that effect. Lost his investors, bounced checks, and been in several public scandals. Read the news. Use google.

This place is a hot mess. Their newsletters and prospectus are a total work of fiction. I wouldnt believe any of their claims of success. I wont work with or invest in any of their startups anymore.

1.5 months into the program and my experience has been amazing. Everyone is friendly, nice and down to earth here. The ability of the program to be personalized based on the idea and team is really great and valuable for a early stage startup like mine. They also helped me alot on my pitching.

One of the first accelerators in Dallas, and a good example of a business that does not keep up with the times. I went their to checkout their offices for lease and to review their accelerator program. Im not sure where to begin. The building is run down and the eye sore of the otherwise upscale neighborhood. Their offices are super tiny and cheaply decorated, and there isnt a sign or a front desk for either floor. Offices are 80% vacant, even with the deep discounts they are offering. The floor plan does not make sense at all. The qualifications of the people that lead the accelerator are unimpressive, and they dont have a good understanding of what startups need. And the other reviewers said, the building and the 2 floors are past due for a good cleaning. Sorry for the long review, but didnt want others to be surprised or waste their time. It is nothing like their web site would suggest.

I just graduated from Tech Wildcatters Fall 2019 Cohort. The introductions, expertise, and support we received in the program were priceless. Id highly recommend this startup accelerator to any founder who is looking to take their business to the next level and be well prepared for future investment rounds. Big thanks to the whole TW team and the 100+ mentors in the program. Its been great having them as a partner and investor and I look forward to growing with them.

Being a part of the new regime at TW has definitely been interesting. It has a long history and is some thing we’re trying to take very seriously. Moving forward and doing right by the people who have supported us in the past is our number one priority. My jobs within the company is to help bridge the gap in communication that has been there for so long. I would love to open up constructive conversations about how things could be better not only at TW but in our Dallas start up ecosystem.

I met the Tech wildcatters at an event in Berlin where they brought several of their start up cohort at the time to meet 200 C level executives at an event to show how mobile could change the world. Smart entrepreneurs with a high value network.

Company is misrepresenting itself. Willing to promise and sign contracts that they have no intention of upholding. I had met with the two CEOs (yes, there are 2 of them) about a corporate sponsorship. Subsequently discovered they have lost most of their sponsors (but they still use their logos on their web site and in advertisements). Met with startup founders and investors to learn they are at odds with Tech Wildcatters. Do you own online search for reviews before working with Tech Wildcatters

First of all, let me start off by saying this review is of our first hand experience with Tech Wildcatters. This review is based on that experience with inputs from three team members that were very involved. TW has caused significant problems for our company. Incorporation and franchise filings, stock option plans, pitch deck, balance sheet, and just about everything done during our time with TW has issues. We have had to resolve problems with the TX and DE Securities Boards and Comptroller. This is a direct result of the advice and work of TW mentors and employees. This includes TW mentors that are lawyers and CPAs. As you can imagine, this caused issues with our employees, investors and potential investors. From the beginning, we all saw signs that the TW team was inexperienced and stretched the truth at times. We heard rumors of scandals and bad dealings. We never expected this many problems as a result of their inexperience, lies, and reputation. We are still climbing out of this hole.

Interning at Tech Wildcatters exposed me to the Dallas startup community, the venture deal process, CRM, and digital marketing. Interns have lots of creative input on their projects and the experience was very enriching.

Not again. Schedule K-1s are late this year just like they were for the past 4 years. What is wrong with you people? Get organized, do your taxes, and stop screwing up. Its causing the rest of us to file extensions. I regret ever investing in TW, and that feeling is shared by many of us. You didnt even send us an email notifying us youd be late again. Im emailing the Texas Sec of State and SEC. Maybe they can get you to learn your jobs.

I agree with the other reviewers. Tech Wildcatters is a mess. They treat their investors poorly. If you are lucky enough to get a response, it will be nonsensical and dodgy. Paperwork is late and wrong. Its like they dont care. Or they are incompetent.

Received our K-1 in August 2018 for the 2017 tax year. Its months late, just like it was last year. This causes significant problems for investors and delays the timely filing of taxes. Management is non-responsive.
