Shamika is the best stylist in the game! I have been going to her for about 1 year now and would never consider using someone different. In fact, I’ve moved about 20 minutes further away and still make the commute just to have her cut my hair. Great cut!

Seven months ago I gave this place five stars, now it is getting one star. During the two minutes I was in the place I asked if they were doing walk- ins. Without so much as even a glance at anything informative the rude front receptionist informed me that no they were all booked in an extremely friendly Im too good for you tone of voice. They are very friendly and on a couple of occasions when I walked in without an appointment less then 10 minutes before closing they were nice enough to give me a quick cut.

Suppercuts on Lemmon Ave. is unlike any other Supercuts I have been to. It is more like an upscale boutique salon, but still with the same affordable prices. The receptionist, David, is more like a concierge with his personal attention, warmth and professionalism. I cant say enough good things about my stylist, Marisol. She is awesome! Not only a perfectionist, but a joy to be around. She even put the exact way I like my haircut in the computer! Amazing! Above all, during the pandemic, they enforce the strictest protocols to keep us safe. Supercuts & Super-safe!

Total hidden gem. Ive tried a few hair salons around Dallas with price ranges up to $70 for a haircut for my very short pixie-length hair. Im not very picky but Ive had issues with people cropping my hair too short, giving extra embellishes, and just making me unpresentable for a couple days while my hair grows into a more natural look.Both times Ive been to this Supercuts, Ive gotten haircuts that I feel comfortable walking out the door and going about my day with. I havent come in at peak times but Ive never felt like they were rushing to get me out the door; theyll spend at least 30 minutes doing the cut.The receptionist is really nice and the wait times arent very bad even if you do a walk in appointment. Also the stylists dont force you to talk to them if you just want to sit and let them work. You cant beat the value for the price.

Larry was lights out- amazing shampoo and blowout and gorgeous cut (long womans hair). I would have paid 3x as much for less quality at a fancy schmancy salon. Save your money on more expensive salons and treat yourself at Supercuts!

I went in Christmas Eve and they took care of me the minute I walked in the door. Ok, not only was my haircut great ( I got alot of compliments since then!) but the effort the employees put there looking out for your health during these crazy times is phenomenal. I just wish I remembered my stylist name so I can call her out for her professionalism and attentiveness on my hair on account that Ive been cutting my own hair for a few months now and she had to fix my mistakes! Disappointed... I literally walked in with so much hair after growing it for months past nose length all around. I asked for a simple men’s haircut with medium length left on top with a low fade on the sides and back showing several picture examples. I don’t understand how this cut was messed up. I was given a high fade on the sides and back and cowlick area was cut so short it’s now sticking up and too much taken off the top. I will not be back, I have to regrow my hair now and very disappointed.

I always go with Keith have for years. For more than 5 or even more cant remember now. He is the best. I dont let no one else touch my hair.

Sanitation process was good, as I saw the staff wipe down the chairs after I sat in it. I got a hair wash and trim on medium length (under my shoulders). Belinda washed and cut my hair. The haircut lasted like 15mins, so she got me in and out pretty quickly.

I really enjoy coming to this location though I recently moved out of uptown. I also appreciate Rachel who is apart of the front desk staff. She is frequently pleasant, nice and helpful any time I have had a question or called for scheduling. She appeared to be dealing with a difficult customer today and maintained her professionalism without causing a scene for the other customers in the waiting area.

I actually had a great experience at this Supercuts yesterday. I went in around noon and they were predictably busy. The wait was accurate to what they told me, but half an hour was worth it.Huge shout out to Larry for an awesome, versatile haircut that completely exceeded my expectations! I love it!Not only did he create the best version of the cut I was envisioning, he was friendly, told me about some products at the Vitamin Shoppe (which is also next door to Supercuts lol). He was professional, skillful, efficient, and suggested options that I hadnt previously considered such as the angle of the cut in the back.My favorite part of this cut is the added texture to my unmanageably fine hair. It now does what I want it to do! And I have multiple styling options using relatively simple products and techniques. Its low maintenance but also versatile and I am so happy with the top notch service and results!Ive only been to this place twice but both times were positive experiences. Normally I would go to my usual stylists, but due to financial limitations, I found myself at Supercuts.I am so happy with the results, the great customer service, and the affordable price that I will definitely be back. Im still loyal to my regular stylists, but Im glad to have one more reliable option.

As a member of Folically Challenged Population I was excited when we drove past the Oak Lawn Supercuts and it was open. I called and they had an opening in 1.5 hours (perfect, I had just arrived in the area and had a commitment.) I was greeted at the door and my appt was verified and I was directed to the hand sink and asked to wash. Once finished, my stylist greeted me, asked if I had any requirements and explained how the service would work and I got a great clean up, felt great, looked polished and together. Thanks for wasting my time. I had an appointment for a specific hour, checked in couple minutes before and waited 20min past my appointment time. After that I just went home...I’d rather pay more for better service somewhere else.

I had been trying to find a reliable barber ever since I moved to Dallas. I have gone to Supercuts the past two months and have been greatly satisfied. Men’s haircuts are around $15-17 I think. They give you coupons for your next three visits if you are a new customer. Worth a try if you are looking for a new place!

The staff was phenomenal! I walked in and hadn’t my name added to the list, an approximate 45 minuet wait. The timing was spot on and I was helped by Michael- y’all if you don’t let this man do your hair you’re making a mistake. He was so kind and patient and helped me get exactly what I wanted. I havent had my hair cut in ages and Michael helped me feel at home and was ready to answer all of my questions- and was amazing with chit chat too :) I highly recommend- I will be back! :)

Came in and asked for a hair cut. I got a trim and a brief head massage. Disappointed the stylist did not listen to my instructions so after a couple requests for adjustments I decided to tell him it looked good, paid, and left. He was more interested in flirting with me and massaging my head than listening to what I really wanted. All in all, the trim was very good (not cut as short as I requested multiple times) and it looked good. Just made it so I had to come in for another cut sooner than I normally would. I am going to another location next time. If you get bothered by the flamboyant scene this place isnt for you. Everyone there is very nice. I would recommend this place to certain friends, but not others. Oh, and there is always a line. Call ahead so you can put your name on the list or you will have a long wait.

Taylor is my boy here and he has been cutting my hair for six months. He is a baller hair stylist that has helped me boost my swag and the nominal amounts of dates I go on. I praise his clippers and outstanding hair cutting super powers. I recommend getting in touch with his agent 3 months in advance to book a time slot with this guy

I was taken care of not even 5 minutes after checking in and they were busy but they took care of me from the second I walked in the door until I was done. I went to cut off my damaged dull hair, and they even put a hair mask on my hair to soften up my ends! I loved them!

Supercuts is a good place to get your hair did. The wait is usually not very long, but it is better to call in ahead and put your name on the list. Some of the people that cut hair there have been there forever.

I have been to the Supercuts on Lemmon one other time and must admit the first haircut I had there I could have done a better job! I went there today and had Anna as my stylist and she was very meticulous in cutting my hair, listened to what I wanted and was friendly. She wanted to please the customer. I would recommend you call ahead for an appointment, the wait is usually 30 minutes or longer and request Anna as your stylist. You wont be disappointed!

Larry is the absolute best. I go to him every 2 months for a trim. He is never rough with my hair and pays very close attention to detail. Gives good advise on how I can keep the look and style it at home.

I have been getting my hair cut here since I moved to Dallas in 2013. The stylists are friendly and I always like how my hair turns out. As with anything good, there is normally a wait, so its wise to plan ahead.

Supercuts in Oaklawn is the #1 location for the franchise in regards to business in this area. Even though they are always have friendly employees who do not best accommodate customers with appointments and walk-in customers. I trust my stylist 100% when getting a haircut or any other services they offer!!

Mitch and Mario are def the bomb. Im extremely particular and they always do great. The others have also been more than adequate, thats why you see the same faces there, cuz they dont suck and are consistently above average.

Haircut is ok,prices have gone up lately. I go to a similar place down the street now.haircut is just as good and $4 cheaper,new place is only less than two blocks away.

A reliable place for haircuts. To be quite frank, it is hit or miss as to getting the exact cut you may have hoped for. Ive had cuts that have been exactly what I asked for and Ive had results that made me wonder why did she (or he) bother to ask what I wanted. But in the end I figure it will grow back and just wear a hat until it does. You can count on a clean shop with a couple of chairs up to 6 or so chairs in use. You can call ahead to shorten wait time. Friendly, happy people working there and for less than $20 you got yourself a new do!

If youre a guy, it looks like a great place. But the front of my hair was butchered and I had to go home and fix it. I really wish the barber would have dried it enough in the store or cut it where I was facing the mirror so I could have seen how wrong the front was going... I have a really simple cut so I thought it would be ok to go here for my first haircut in Dallas since the Supercuts I went to in Austin was awesome. Larry also started to cut the sides without parting my hair. When I asked him if I could part it he said he did and I had to insist on parting it before he cut the sides.

Crystal is a rockstar but thats where the compliments stop. Its extremely hard to get in to see a your favorite stylist due to their 30 minutes before shift policy for appointments. And to be told that its 29 minutes before and you have to wait is just adolescent. But on the bright side it pushed me into finding Floyds barbershop...only bad thing is Crystal isnt there.

Really horrible service. The haircuts are fine and I used to come here every month but there have been a few incidents and I was treated very poorly. Will not return and would recommend you stay away.

I got my hair cut by Wendy and I am not happy. I wanted to be nice and didn’t want to upset her but she messed up my Haircut. I wanted straight bangs that fell right about my eyebrows and tapering around my face, so not a whole head haircut just the front. She wet my hair first and cut my bangs and when they dried they sprang up way too short, I commented on it and she said “yeah I wasn’t expecting it to spring up so much”. I have had my bangs cut before and they always leave it a tad longer at first to see if the length is correct. I HATE how short they are and I feel like I shouldn’t have paid $18.00 for her to just cut my bangs incorrectly and barely even taper the hair framing my face. I Have tried different Supercuts in the past and hopped from one to the other to find a good one but I’m sorry I’m done. I rather pay 70 dollars to have my hair cut correctly then to have this half hazard haircut.

The workers were nice, but my hair was BUTCHERED :( I only needed a couple of inches taken off. No layering, no bangs, easy work, right? Apparently not. I am so unhappy, and now I need to go get this fixed so I dont look like an idiot at work.

As an out of Towner and having someone who I dont know to cut my hair for a job interview when iI would have scheduled my normal stylist was very nerve racking. But I am very thankful for getting Matthew as my hair stylist. He took his time and we had a great conversation. He feels to me a perfectionist which is awesome! He wont let you down. He took great pride in making sure I was satisfied with my cut. I do wis I had cash to tip him higher. If you see this post, ask for Matthew and tell him I sent you.

First time I went to this location, I loved it.Second time, my hair was not cut properly and did not notice and then coworkers noticed and made a joke of it.Third was tonight. 4 people walked in after I did for walk-ins. They all went before I did. Waited 35 minutes still had not been helped. What a joke Super Cuts. Very very disappointed. I guess you pay for cheap hair cuts and get cheap service.

It isnt a high fashion saloon. But if you just need a good, solid hair cut they can do the job well without breaking the bank.
