Mercedes quit importing and servicing smart cars in the US. They not only quit warranty, but out of warranty repairs. I have taken my car to 6 specialty shops. Southwest not only serviced it, but each person from the very first call understood cars. When she couldn’t answer my question, she called one of the shops in my town to see if they had the same software. She called me back after consulting with the other shop, as well as their mechanic. I was extremely late getting for my appointment, but they knew it had taken me all night to get there. I showed up at 4pm on Friday. Yes, I’m that guy.Their exhaustive diagnostic was only $130. They provided me a loaner while the part is on order. I wish they were in my town. If they can fix mine, they can fix anything.

My 2005 v70 r Volvo is complex.... And since this is my forever car I wanted to make sure it was done right... They started to explain what the problems were and based on that, thats exactly what was fixed.... I understand from my friend Dan from whom I purchased this auto, that you really have to have someone who knows this car, this engine, this transmission and so forth.... If you have something simple to repair Southwest Auto can do it and if you have something very complex whether its Volvo, Mercedes or another fine automobile, Southwest Auto will get the job done...

From start to finish the team was incredibly professional, communicated every step of the way and were simply above and beyond. Car repairs are always stressful and honestly they kept my mind at ease the entire time. Could not be happier with the service I received and will be a repeat customer should my car ever have issue in the future.

It’s nice to be able to support a family owned business. They are all very nice and knowledgeable. I’ve been going there off and on to get my brakes redone and transmission flushes on my vehicles for about 5 or 6 years and just brought in a 3rd vehicle. I also had an emissions check engine light issue awhile back on an older vehicle that the normal fixes weren’t resolving the issue but they were able to get it done.

I had a total car inspection I was looking to buy a new Mercedes-Benz I took it there to have them check it out thoroughly before I made purchase This was a excellent place very friendly and knowledgeable answer any questions and concerns that I had took the time to make sure I understood everything that was done. I woulddefinitely recommend this place to anyone needing there car services, I give places a 10 plus, excellent service.

Very professional service and good value. All repairs explained and my questions answered in advance. Work done quickly and very nice loaner car provided. My car runs like new. Took my vehicle in. The staff was very kind. They were going to charge me $150 for a cabin air filter replacement. Those cost $30 for a good one and take 60 seconds to replace. Seems fishy to me. But they were very friendly. I denied their service in the end.

I had a partially non-operative car shipped to their shop under a unique set of circumstances. I live out of state and bought the car locally in Dallas and needed a good shop to look over the car. They allowed me to drop the car off on the weekend in their lot, they communicated with me very well about the car as they looked over it and I had many pleasant conversations with them. John is an excellent guy, he is an enthusiast through and through, and as one myself I felt entirely comfortable placing a rare car in their hands with me out of state. Corey also went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of as well. The only regret I have about the experience is that now I have a new standard set for my local shop to hopefully attain one day! :) If youre not going to Southwest Auto youre missing out.

Have been using Southwest Auto exclusively for many years, primarily because I trust them. They have never tried to oversell or charge exhorbitant markups. I know they will give it to me straight.When I was in the process of purchasing a used vehicle, I had them inspect each one I was interested in. As a result, I bypassed cars with issues and got a super dependable luxury car that was a great value.

Great repair shop. Rather than simply replacing the part that failed and that needed to be replaced, they took the steps to diagnose what caused the failure so it would not happen again. I bought a 2008 Saab 9-3 from an auction. It was a non runner that we thought was due to starter and fuel pump. It needed way more than that. I found Southwest via google and had the car towed to them. They walked through everything on the car and got me up and running and gave additional items that were needed down the line. Very knowledgeable, super easy to work with and although their building looks really nice and super expensive the repair pricing was very fair.

Had my car towed here. The next day they followed up quickly, found a solution to get my tire fixed and got me my car back super quick. This was hands down some of the best service I’ve ever received from an auto shop. Highly recommend this shop and their amazing team.

I was recommended to Southwest Auto by a friend and had an excellent first-visit experience. All personnel were very friendly on the phone when setting up my appointment and then Corey was great about communicating updates throughout the repairs. I really appreciated the patience and transparency when discussing the diagnosis and repairs for my vehicle. Will be my go-to shop!

Firstly, the staff was friendly and extremely nice and they were able to remove a key my uncle broke in the ignition of a 2003 Mercedes ML320 without having to take back to the Mercedes dealership. Yes, it was an older model but I was told the car had been repaired and it was ready for pick up on July 10, 2020 and was charged $1331.91. I was able to get about 15 minutes up the street before it started sputtering, the air went out, I was able to get to a gas station before it stopped and they came to get it but not before telling me there was a charge for the tow. Fortunately, after explaining that I had only picked it up 15 minutes prior & the amount I paid.Secondly, the manager said they would do a complete diagnostic test and would call me with an estimate. True to his word, I was contacted on July 13, 2020 with an estimate and gave the okay to complete the repairs. On July 14, 2020, I was contacted again stating all repairs were completed and my vehicle was ready for pick up again. After paying $2574.49, I was told I should not have anymore problems which was a complete lie. This time, while traveling on the highway, the car would go to 60 mph then drop back to 30 mph. Thank Goodness my husband was following me because that was extremely dangerous and I was terrified.Finally making it home safely, after about an hour on the highway, I called the manager, whose name l can not recall, stating that I was told all repairs were completed after a thorough inspection. Again, a complete fabrication, the brakes did not work, it started smoking and overheated almost going ablaze. At this time, I had the car towed back to their location to be diagnosed once more and the manager stated that it was an older model car that could not be repaired but if I wanted he could help me find a later model. When I conveyed to him this could have been told to me after the first so call diagnostic evaluation, and me having to pay any more expenses. All he could say was he was sorry, which did not do me any good because I no longer had steady income after being let go from my job due to the novel coronavirus.So in closing, I was extremely disappointed with their services and completed lost after using most of my severance package paying $3906.40 on repairs for a car that Southwest Auto knew could never be repaired. I was totally taken advantage of and severely ripped off because I initially got the car to cut down on expenses due to being recently unemployed. I would not recommend their business, services or poor practices to an enemy let alone the poor, unsuspecting public. For Southwest Auto to deceive me in my time of need during the worst pandemic in almost a hundred years was despicable and shame on them. The shop is clean, the staff is amazing. They have loaner cars or they can drop you off , ( not sure how far they will take you but they drop me off at the spa , down the street.I would recommend taking your automobile there if you need service, especially if you have a Saab.

Brought vehicle in December, had diagnose for engine light on, my 2008 Saab wouldn’t turn over to start and when did smelled of gas and would cut out. I was told I needed a EMC/TRIONIC MODULE which part was $1,259 labor $ 257.00 too fix and stop engine light from being on. Part took till February to come in. Got my car back from their shop on February 26, and 3days later after I got it back same issue. They said part had a default and replaced it, In a week my vehicle has same issue still. Called left voice message with Corey who help me throughout my service. No return call so I call back spoke to Corey and explain issue still there he said would speak to his manager and call me back and has not called.

Cory and team were very professional and performed excellent work on my MB Sprinter motorhome. We were basically stranded with a defective turbo resonator on our trip to AZ. They performed a speedy repair and got us on our way. The workmanship and communication provided exceeded any service I’ve had done at a MB dealer. Don’t hesitate to utilize they’re skills. SW Auto worked on my daughters 2007 SAAB 9-3. Very detailed diagnostic, and everyone there is so professional. They fixed both of my problems (drivers seat motor and car not starting properly after it was ranfor a while). They also told me about several other issues that I need to get fixed this year. Great experience, their SAAB tech is awesome.

Very quick turn around and fair price considering this isn’t an easy car to find parts for and most mechanics charge more or refuse outright to work on them. I got none of that pushback here and the best diagnostic check on my overall car health that I’ve ever received. Cory was the best!

The shop replaced head gasket as well as other parts that needed to be repaired or replaced on a 2006 Subaru.Cost of Survice was a little on the high side but the survice was very good.I will use the shop again due to the good survice.

Took my 2008 Volvo in for an assessment of work needed to be done. A bit of a fork in the road for me -- should I put more $$$ into this old car or not. The proverbial fish or cut bait dilemma. Not only did I get a very thorough mechanical and price estimate, but I got some empathetic and sound counsel from Corey I found both encouraging and liberating. I drive a Fiat 500 pop and was having issues with my AC not blowing cool air. Firestone diagnosed a leak, but said they’d be unable to work on it and recommended me to take it to the Fiat dealership in Dallas . They gave me a $1900 quote to fix/replace a number of things wrong with my AC system. That seemed excessive, so I looked for and found this place that works on Fiats for their opinion. They took a look at it and saw that some hoses/values just needed to be refitted to fix the leak. For just the AC system fix, not even $250. I feel confident that this business is very honest and not looking to up sell unnecessarily, and they know what they’re doing.Also they’ve got a friendly cat named Morris. So yes I’d highly recommend this business.

I came across Southwest Auto about 2 years ago and Ive had service done there three or four times now, everything from simple oil changes to more in depth engine and suspension work.Ive been nothing but happy with Southwest Auto. They do great work, they communicate well throughout the process, their prices are fair, and they are very knowledgable with all brands, but specifically overseas brands like Mercedes, Volvo, Audi, Mazda, BMW, etc.Their shop is always clean, their staff is friendly and they are always helpful.Highly recommended!
