I got several estimates for a new roof before I chose Wharton. They are very good. Tim came to my home and was very friendly and home town which I appreciated. I had estimates from bigger companies that had that corporate feel, and I much prefer home town. The crew was very nice and very respectful. My roof was completed in a decent amount of time and it looks fantastic! Hunter was very friendly and super helpful. If you are needing a new roof, I can highly recommend them!

Tim Wharton and his crew have done a lot of work for me over the years! Recently, his team was hired to finish steps to our downstairs by laying carpet and new trim, install new light fixtures, and they also remodeled our upstairs bathroom. Wharton Home Improvements installed a new Metal Roof on my GARAGE and TOOL SHED that is a perfect match to the 5 year old roof on my house. Today, Tim and his crew finished putting a shingle roof on my house. He began on Tuesday morning as promised, the crew stayed on the job all week and finished today (Friday). They did an excellent job. The men were all very competent and courteous, and cleaned up the job before they left. The price was very competive and when then were finished I was very well pleased. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a roof instalation or any remodeling work.

I bought a home that Mr Wharton restored in 2013 and I will never purchase anything from him again.Upon moving into the home the plumbing for the entire second floor failed. We could not shower or use our kitchen for about 4 days until we could get a plumber to come out. We also found out that the kitchen cannot have more than 1 appliance running at a time or it blows a breaker. That means we have to choose whether we want to use the microwave or have the AC on, or make toast and use the dishwasher.That winter we also found out the outside drainage didnt work properly, so the entire back walkway was frozen over with thick ice. I also found out the heating system doesnt work correctly. The downstairs has no heat from the furnace, there are literally no heating ducts to any of the rooms. The living room stays moderately warm, but the bathroom feels like an inferno while the 1st/2nd bedroom and office freeze. The icing on the cake though is that the kitchen pipes freeze extremely easily. This is because there is literally no insulation under the kitchen floor or around the pipes.After about a year the bathtub in the downstairs cracked across the bottom. Replacing the tub was a nightmare. The tub was jammed into a space that was way to small and then the dry wall was installed *over* the tub lips. I also found out the reason the bottom of the tub broke was because there was a 1 square foot hole under the tub.I also had some contractors come to fix the kitchen pipe problem and they mentioned some issues with the roof. I asked them to take a look and they said they had never seen such shody work.The best part is my experience isnt the only one. I have talked to at least 2 other people in similar situations as well.
