We rented at Continental Apartments, the sister property of Valley Place, so I can’t speak on the actual apartments at Valley Place property specifically (but I can for Continental, where we were very impressed by quality of living space). However they are both run by the same management, so I thought I would leave a review regarding them here too.The property manager Ed, is the kindest and most reasonable landlord you could ask for. He is professional, transparent, and helpful. We are moving into a home now, but will miss the staff at Continental/Valley Place. Plus, we really appreciate the accommodation for our big dog! Thank you! It is not always easy as a renter to find such outstanding management.

Upon arrival to these apts there was absolutely no parking. You have to park so far away that you would never know if your car got broken into and there are people constantly hanging out in the parking lot. Defininately would not reccomend if you want to feel safe. Also I noticed nothing was very clean there was garbage pretty much everywhere. This is pretty much the ghetto of apartment buildings. This is just everything I noticed upon arrival.

After living at Valley Place for two years - I think I need to post a review.Pros: The first would be the price, at around $1,100 for a 1 bedroom, you can’t complain. The unit I am in was renovated right before I moved in so everything was brand new! The staff are very friendly and quick at getting back to you when you need anything. The location is alright, I do love Frankies & Fat Nat’s (which I have walked to from the apartment). I love that I have a walk-out patio so that’s a pro for me since I do have a dog. The building also provides poop bags and a small area for the doggos to potty.Cons: The reason I’m moving out - my upstairs neighbors walk around SO MUCH AT ALL HOURS. Not sure if it is quite as loud and annoying at other apartments but the floor boards here are so squeaky that it’s hard to focus on anything other than my upstairs neighbor walking around. The police are here about three times a month, not sure why, never seen any vandalism, problems, etc but it is a turn off none the less. It is a little “ghetto” here, but once again for the price - you get what you pay for. There are NO amenities. Other than the two computers in the laundry room there is absolutely nothing else. Again, you get what you pay for.Overall: three stars because the management has been great, but make sure you have a listen to see how loud your upstairs neighbors sound walking around or else you will drive yourself crazy!

I scheduled a tour. I got there and the building is old, rusty and nasty. Full of ghetto people. Not to mention as I was leaving I was followed AND got hit on by a 65+ year old man asking for my number. This place is definitely crossed off the list. I didn’t feel safe.

I just signed my lease here. The property manager, Ed, responded very quickly to emails and addressed my questions promptly. The exterior is well maintained, the lawn is kept up beautifully and the several residents I have said hello to were very friendly. The garage is spacious and a reasonable $55 with opener. The washer and dryers can alert you via text when available. My apartment was IMMACULATE. For the price, I am very pleased to have stainless appliances, upgraded cabinetry and a private deck. The leasing company will have a professional painter come in and paint accent walls for you, the first one is on them- nice to break up the monotony of all white walls! They are also fine with you hanging art and flat screen TVs.I felt comfortable leaving our vehicles unattended while we schlepped my stuff into the apartment. This was midday on a Saturday and there was ample parking. I was given a guest pass in case it was needed. Renters insurance is required, which made me feel even more confident as everyone is covered “just in case!”I saw a few people take their dogs out, they were all easily picked up after as there are free poop bags and bins stationed around the grounds. I did not notice any odd smells and appreciate the fact that rent can be paid online. It has been very quiet; people seem to very respectful and polite. This is a DRAMATIC change from my previous leasing agency and apartment itself, so I’m definitely going to enjoy the peaceful enjoyment of my space. It’s definitely more convenient than I thought at first glance and I really feel like it’s a quiet, decent community. If anything major occurs, I’ll repost.

I recently moved into an apartment at Lou Ann Terrace Apartments in Crystal, MN. After looking at numerous apartments around the city, I decided on Lou Ann Terrace. One of the main reasons was because of the cleanliness of the property. After viewing the apartment, I realized that it wasnt just the exterior of the property that was kept up well, but the inside was as well. I am very particular about where I live and usually will have to spend half a day cleaning before moving in. The apartment I moved into was truly Move-in-Ready. I didnt have to do any cleaning at all. This was definitely a first for me. I recently met the caretaker (Jim) and couldnt help but compliment him on what a wonderful job he did on my apartment. Kudos to Jim,, Holly, Ed and Lou Ann Terrance Apartments!! Im glad I made a decision to move in here!!

I have resided in Lou Ann Terrace previously and have recently moved out. This place is average, so- so with mixed feelings. The staff themselves is pleasant to work with and addresses your concerns in a timely manner, the real issue is the tenants and living issues . First off, the cops are constantly there for whatever reason and many people have domestic abuse issues every other weekend. This place is dog friendly and everyone takes their dog to poop/pee where they want when management leaves, some do not pick up after their animal(s) and there is feces all over the grass and in the summer it will smell like pee. The tenants on the lower floor leash their dogs outside when management has gone for the day/weekend as well. The parking layout is very awkward as you have to do a roundabout and there is also limited free parking close to the apartments, guest parking is only a few spaces. This place can be what one refer to as “ghetto”, people park in the fire lane every night and blast their music as they wait for their guests, if your apartment faces the entrance you will not have a good nights sleep. Shady people who do not live there will park /hangout in the lot and it is very disturbing, you might mistake one for a gangbanger, do not make eye contact - mind your own business and rush to your unit/car. The building is suppose to be smoke free but people smoke from their patios all day and weekend when management is not present including the green herb, be prepared to only have your windows open during business hours. People wash their clothes and don’t come back to dry/take it as soon as it is done, you will have an average wait time of 5 hours if someone is currently washing their clothes. The apartments do not have central air and only provides a window air conditioner (extremely loud as one would expect) in the living room, you will melt in your bedrooms during summer.Pros: Dog Friendly, large living room, spacious kitchen, nice staff.

I have lived at Louann for a few years now and have stayed because of the great staff! Management is great at taking care of us even though they make us follow the rules. If you want to live where dogs and kitty cats are welcome, even kids too.. Louann is a great choice. They are currently renovating, jazzing the place up. They told us weve got a new computer room coming, large screen TV and updated apartments. If I could give this place 10 stars instead of 5, I would.

Unsavory management on site. Renters beware. The property manager does not upkeep ice and snow removal which has caused injuries to residents including myself due to negligence of staff. The maintenance is unprofessional unreliable and makes unwelcome remarks to female residents. The female leasing agent is rude and yells at residents express discontent and ignoring their complaints and requests. The manager fabricates lease violations and targets disabled and non Caucasian residents. Your neighbors leave their pets poop everywhere and if you dont pick up others poop they left in the area near you the manager sends you a lease violation for not doing their job. They dont care to seek out and speak to the actual offenders only to blame those that were already victimized by the offenders. Management is not present for posted office hours they arrive late and leave early. They dont respond in a timely manner to maintainence requests. They window installation was faulty and I got water damage during a storm. They never came to clean my carpet and furniture after the event and when they called the installers to correct the problems they had them only fixing the office windows and not mine which resulted in additional water damages from more rain storms until I approached them and demanded they fix my windows but still never came to clean the damage as was promised. The property manager pretends to be nice to your face and then extorts money swindles and preys on vulnerable residents he is sexist racist and harasses disabled residents. Also you can rarely take out your trash since the one small bin for 70 apts is always full and surrounded by furniture. They charge you $35 per person for garbage and water and you cant even have a bin to use or hot water for your shower. They recently installed garage openers to extort an extra 50% in Garage rent and tried to tell residents with garages that they cant park in the parking lot.
