I’m a caseworker and I had just spent 10 hours driving a client to and from a potential foster home and I was finally done for the day and started driving home and got a flat tire. It was 10:30pm on a Sunday and I just wanted to be in my bed. Thomas from Whitey’s Towing was there in less than 20 minutes and had my tire changed in less then 10 minutes. I’m so grateful for how quick and smooth everything went. Thomas was very professional and friendly and made what could have been a very annoying situation seem like no big deal. I will absolutely use Whitey’s Towing in the future.

Thomas (Tom) of Whitey’s Towing called me shortly after I entered the information of my roadside assistance request. He met me promptly at where our van was located. He had to be creative, since the front wheels of our van where trapped over a curb. He figured out how to move the van slightly forward so he could get the towing bar in. After doing this, he was able to lift the van up into some pieces of wood he had placed near the wheels, so I could back the van up.Thanks, Tom for a great job!

Thomas was amazing! He arrived quickly. I had a key stuck in the ignition and I was ready to have my car towed. No doubt it would have been a costly endeavor. He was able to remove the jammed key. Im not your standard car ditz but I was scared to work the key too much as not to break it. After 3 seconds the key was out. Despite my humiliation, Thomas did not mock my stupidity. Wow did I have an amazing experience! Robert came quite quickly and was incredibly friendly and personable while still being professional. He answered my questions and put me at ease about my car being towed. I don’t plan to need a tow truck in the future, but if I need to be towed I know who to call!

Yesterday, being Friday the 13th 3021, of all days my car wouldn’t start. I called AAA and they sent Thomas from Whitey’s towing. First, he was there extremely fast, he arrived to me about 5:15pm and AAA was telling me he wouldn’t be there until 6:30pm. In addition AAA gave him all the wrong information but to Thomas’ credit he didn’t get frustrated or upset. He first tried everything in his power to get my car started. When there was nothing more he could do he towed it. Thomas was professional, listened to what I had to say and keep me informed on what he was doing. I would highly recommend Whitey’s Towing.

Joseph was my tow truck driver and he was by far the nicest TOW TRUCK DRIVER Ive ever experienced. He was so polite and efficient, and when we got back to my house, he was nice enough to push the car into the far side of the driveway so it was out of the way. They dont care how they do things as long as it gets them money, I couldnt imagine treating people so poorly even if I was having a bad day. I just got into a car crash that wasnt my fault and next thing you know I have to pay up for a service I never asked for or had any say in. My first car accident and all this adult man can think is how he can get some more money. He hooked my car up to his truck without saying anything to me, if youre telling me you have to sneak your service behind peoples back that just says how bad that service is right there. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN, because apparently you dont have a choice.

Had to get my car towed because it wasn’t starting. Josh (driver at Whitey’s) went out of his way to use jumper cables to see if he can start my car so I wouldn’t need to get it towed. Even though it ended up getting towed because of probably a starter issue, I really appreciated the honesty and professionalism from Josh! Highly recommend Whitey’s!

My truck wouldn’t start at work, parked in a garage that had a slope. They sent two guys out just in case they had to push it out of the garage. My truck didn’t start, that’s why I called for a tow. Tried jumping it the night before and nothing. Before towing it, they tried to jump it and boom... it started. Instead of assuming they would have to tow it, they tried what they could before towing. They both were very kind, on time, and so nice!! Thank you so much!

Completely unprofessional and dangerous. Not a single employee wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic. Employees coughing, with runny noses in spaces where the public have to interact with them. Social distancing was not maintained in the slightest.

I was towing my boat on the highway and I blew a tire. Needed it towed. Have never had to tow it before and it was a nightmare because of what was needed to be done to get it on and off the trailer because of the outboard motor sticking below boat level.I am so glad for Whitneys toe service. They worked at it for quite a while on the highway to get it on and then at the service center to unload it. It took a lot to get it on and off and they did a great job and stuck to it.Lots of extra time and I was expecting and it Xtra service charge but they didnt hit me with an extra fee.They did an excellent job and if I ever break down again and need a tow, I hope it is close to them!

The driver was experienced, polite, accommodating of my specific needs for the tow, and he communicated with me regarding what he was doing throughout the entire process. Shawn was the driver, and based on this experience, I have no problems recommending Whiteys for any towing work.

Fast service. I ordered a tow ahead of time to transport my car from Motorwerks to an independent mechanic. Josh - my tow guy - was there 15 minutes early and super-helpful. Great guy. Fair pricing. Pulled my Mercedes onto the flatbed properly with the built-in tow hook adapters rather than by the A-arms as some people would. I would not hesitate to call Whitey’s again if I’m in the area and in need of a tow.

Tried calling them for a tow and the guy on the phone clearly did not want to work. Very rude and arrogant. Had to hang up and call a different place.

We had Whiteys tow our Mercedes to Motorwerks in Barrington from Crystal Lake. Not the easiest tow as steering column had up locked up. Brian & Robert were knowledgeable & concerned for all aspects of vehicle. They had to bring additional Jacks out to put car on flat bed properly. Their care & concern for our car was top shelf. Both gentlemen were compassionate & respectful, you dont find that kind of service anymore. When in need call Whiteys you will NOT be disappointed.Thank you Robert & Brian for your great service.

One of their drivers did some minor damage to my vehicle while loading it on the truck and the owner came out and took one look and promised to fix all damage done. He followed through on his word and had all the damage taken care of immediately. Very wonderful people and never hard to get ahold of.

They are not honest when it comes to using your credit card . Be careful they charge for service they didnt do.

I got arrested and had my motorcycle towed. I know, my fault. Usually towing places are iffy and mean. Not this place. Picked up my bike the following day, no hidden fees or bs to deal with. I didnt have a class m license so I had to tow the bike home in my van. As I was about to load up, two guys(I forget their names) a younger and older gentleman. Needless to say, they helped me load my bike up. I’ve never done this before, they taught me how to use my strap and how to secure my bike. I’ve never had anything but bad experiences with tow yard but this one is great. No hard feelings, I made my own mistakes but they weren’t judgemental and very caring. I reccomend these guys and will use them if I’m ever in the area.

Days ago we at JFY had some tires blow out on a trailer while hauling an excavator and well scenario got worse as the trailer ended up jackknifing and tipping...Whiteys Towing was on site to handle the situation and that they did!!!! They could have mistreated JFYs equipment further damaging our properties but did not.. Did a stellar job as they did not damage equipment worse than the accident caused which luckily all in all could have been worse....To top it off have gone above and beyond to be friendly and helpful to our growing family owned pool business....
