I scheduled an appointment for my friend this past Friday and it was by far the worst experience shes had and Ive heard of. The appointment was for a dip manicure and the cost is $45 on the website. She got charged an extra $10 for the removal of her existing dip manicure. Nowhere on the website does it say that would be an additional fee. Ive never been charged for this and Ive been receiving dip manicures for over a year now. Salon is understaffed, long wait times while having an appointment and no communication for additional fees are mentioned until AFTER work is completed. Do not recommend.
Very rude for a business owner. Didnt find it very clean either. They are not the nicest people there . Especially the older man. Yells at everyone e. Would never go bavk
Just walked in to see if I could be helped. said “oh no you need appointment and walked away”.
The technician was very kind but they did not practice sanitation. I watched her use the same files on the customer before me, my friend and then myself.
Liked that on a Friday evening with no appointment I was able to be helped right away. Got my nails done so fast. Quality was not the best.
Best nail spa in Crystal lake
I go in there to get a pedicure. I could go to a podiatrist but 25.00 is better than paying the doctor 65.00 to do a mediocre job. And the doctor doesnt massage my legs either. For the lady that said they spoke Chinese. They are Vietnamese. And they are respectful. You just read them wrong.Cindy, the owner, is great and has great people. I have been going there for years and will continue to go there.
Second time at this business.Very clean, professional, and great quality.First time I had a fill. Today I had my old set taken off by soaking and a new set put on.Looks and feels great. Looking forward to trying a pedicure ❣️
Always do a phenomenal job and get me in quickly. Definitely recommend going if you are looking for quality and timely service
I like going here because its never very crowded. Maybe because they are not overly friendly but they do a good job with the pedicure.
I’ve come to Angel Nails for number of years, eventually moving downtown in later years. While visiting home, if I need to get my nails done I will usually stop by Angel Nails. Every time I was there, I couldn’t figure out why it was ALWAYS empty. This weekend, I learned why they have become so terrible over the years, and I couldn’t figure out why the community wouldn’t want to support a family owned business. However, today, I learned why:I walked into the store and they asked me what service I needed, with me stating “a full acrylic set.” The male owner asked if I could come back later, and I stated “no.” Then, he told me I had to come back later because they had someone coming in for an appointment in the next 20 minutes, and maybe to next time make an appointment myself, despite the fact that most or their clients are walk-ins. Aghast, I looked at him and stated that if I leave I will not be coming back. He raised his shoulders stating he didn’t care if I left, and I said that was horrible customer service to not take a customer waiting in the store for someone that might come in 20 minutes for an appointment. Even when I make appointments, I usually have to wait a few minutes, which is expected. The store doesn’t stop all services because I made an appointment around that time. What if that customer never showed up for the appointment? I think they are trying very hard to go out of business. I will not be returning.
They were really nice and also did really good on my nails I wish the same experience to everyone
Very polite! Did a good job on my pedicure and manicure.
Talked to each other and ignored me completely. And when I was asked about nail shape they told me it wouldnt look good and I had to do what they decided anyway. Dont go. This place sucks. Also, I thought you werent supposed to use scissors on your cuticle. Im not an expert on that but it hurt especially when they pulled out the acetone.
My friend and I had a great experience here this week. Polite, very clean, very relaxing and $25 for a full deluxe pedi. Highly recommend.
Had a great experience from a referral. I will be going back!! Brenan was quick and my mani/pedi looks great!
The owners do nice work but as soon as their friends came in, I was completely ignored . I knew they were talking about me as they glanced over my direction a few times and kept talking chinese and laughing...Nice work but horrible customer service.I will never go there again.
Best nail place, been there 3 times and gotten awesome nail decals . So far the best , staff are awesome and friendly. Wouldnt go anywhere else !
I tried it for the first time today and i am never going back there.First of all when i arrived and was asked to go chose a color for a basic mani/pedi, i accidentally went towards the no chip polish and was called on it very rudely by a loud hello? First strike. The mani/pedi went okay, i mean nothing extraordinary about it. Finally before finishing the polish on my fingernails she asked me if i wanted to pay now. I handed her my debit/credit card and after 5 minutes next to the machine she came back to me telling me my card was not working amd if i had another card. I was surprised and told her that was weird that it was working fine before and i never had any problems with it and she started arguing with me and find all these reasons on why my card was not working. I did not have any other card on me so she asked me if i could go to the bank to get cash which i accepted because she was not willing to try my card again and i did not want trouble even if i was upset by the loss of time it would cause me. After that her and another employee asked me to leave something of mine there (which was kinda offending, they are the ones to ask me to go to the bank and now they want me to leave something as if i was not gonna come back?). As i was offering to leave something that has my name on it like a library card she said i could leave my phone (no way i want to be recheable at all times) or my ID (no what if i get pulled over?). This is when the other employee there told me to go to the atm, behind the place at walking distance, which i did not want to because i wanted to drive to my banks atm to avoid an almost $5 fee for withdrawing in a different bank. It was already inconveniencing enough i was not going to get a fee on top of that! This was getting nowhere so i insisted that she tried my card again and as i was looking at her i saw that she was not using the card correctly as it was a chip card. The reason why it was not working. After i told her to use the chip the payment was approved. Almost 10 minutes wasted! Embarrassed in front of the other customers and treated poorly! Dont go there!
If I could give a lower score I would. Dont make an appointment because they dont honor them. They will make an appointment and you can plan your day but theyll make you wait without an explanation or apology.
Friendly family atmosphere, great service 😁
My daughter and I got our no chips done with calling 15 minutes prior and the no chip is going strong two weeks later. Fast and quite!
Owners Cindy and Benson are always so welcoming and I always leave with happy feet after my pedicure (ask for the Siang pure oil on your legs, its just so envigorating)! This place is clean and they do take appointments as well
I have never gotten acrylics done before, and since it is my bday today, I decided to take the plunge, treat myself and try this place out. I will never go back honestly. When I was asked for what type of shape I wanted, I had asked for a stiletto shape with a slightly dramatic point. After her filing roughly for a time and asking if she achieved the shape, by the 4th time of her asking and them not looking right, I gave up and said sure thats fine. I honestly wanted to get the process over with and was already planning in my head where to go to get them fixed. They came out in a bulgey almond shape. Comparing the right side to the left, they are uneven, mishapen and very clunky looking. Also, Im not sure why their tools are so caked with nail dust. None of their equipment looks like its been cleaned of any previous clients visits and it really made me nervous. When she buzz filed around my cuticles, a little piece of cuticle that was attached to thw skin of om finger came up, and she literally pulled/ripped it off. My finger started to slightly bleed, and man, did it hurt. And at the end if polishing, she cleaned up with acetone and it was really painful. The polish I picked was an opi high shine (which I was charged $5 extra for. Not sure why). After having to use pliers to open the jar, it had to of had about 5 drops of product left in it. So she tried to apply it to my nails but it took her a very long time and she was having a lot of trouble. it looks very thick and poorly applied (some of it is on my cuticle and will probably. cause lift). I know I should of said something, maybe left, but once everything started going I wasnt sure that I was able to leave. I really would not recommend this business, nor will I be returning.
I went to get a pedicure and while getting it done the manager who was doing my nails decided to make conversation with me about my tattoo. He made a rude comment about my tattoo while getting my pedicure. I was uncomfortable the rest of the time that I was there. I will not go back again to a place where I, a customer, has to worry that a rude comment will be made, especially by the manager.
Guys need nail work too.
Excellent job on my hands.
Here excellent nail work and very good price
