I had such a great experience with this company! I have called others and they didn’t show up or didn’t respond. I have even had others trim my trees in the past but this was the best yet. They are very responsive, price was great, the guys who came were fantastic. You know it’s a good work environment when they’re getting the job done and laughing with each other! They did a lot and quickly and everyone talked to me. Great owners and great employees! I highly recommend them!

A professional job at a very competitive price.Jim & his crew recently removed a dying (and dangerous) tree and trimmed another tree on my property. They were professional, quick, and did an excellent job. Moreover, they were by far the best quote I received for this work. Other companies wanted 50% more for the same service. I will absolutely use Tomahawk again.

Jim gave me a thorough assessment of our trees and provided an estimate on the spot. We were scheduled within a week and his friendly crew showed up on time, performed the work with care, and cleaned up perfectly. Our neighbors were impressed by the expedience of the work that day and are likely to call Jim for their own tree removal needs. I will hire Jim and the Tomahawk crew again for our tree jobs in the future.

Jim and the guys at Tomahawk Tree Service were awesome. We had a tree in the front of our house that we weren’t quite sure what to do with. Being new homeowners we called Jim, who came out the same day and gave us a great quote and really took time to listen to our situation. They came later in the week to take the tree down which ended up being the simple part. During the stump grinding it was discovered that our sewage vent cap was in the center on the stump, a first for most of crew working! The sewage line ran underneath the tree as well. This put our project on hold for the obvious concerns but it was Jim who reached out to a plumber and updated him on the situation which lead to a quick turnaround time for the pipe being relocated. Thankfully we didn’t have any major plumbing issues but without tomahawk we’d be searching for plumbers and our yard would have remained a nightmare. Jim came back once the pipe was relocated and removed the rest of the stump in a timely fashion. It’s the little extra care that makes us so happy we went with Tomahawk

I used Tomahawk about 2 years ago and they were incredible. I will be using them again after the holidays and expect the same professional friendly service. They were quick and left nothing for me to clean up. And they were the only company that knew the proper way to trim a maple tree.

Great experience. Jim was quick to give a fair estimate and schedule the work. His crew was very energetic, thorough and considerate. Four trees removed, two pine trees trimmed of dead branches, five stumps removed.....all done in 2.5 hours including a thorough cleanup. Highly recommend this company.

Tomahawk did a great job of removing two large trees. The price was right. The cleaned up completely. As they promised, they ground the stumps below grade, spread topsoil and then grass seed. I would recommend them highly.

Highly recommended. Jim removed two 50+ foot maples from my backyard and also took down some dead branches on bordering trees. Completed all work in a couple hours for a very fair price.

Responsive, fair priced and followed through on all discussed action items. Cleaned up debris and left site as if they were not even there. I highly recommend them.

Very professional and well equipped operation. I had three difficult trees to remove. I got five estimates. Two companies declined the job flat out. Marks estimate was the most competitive by far. He showed up with a caravan of men and equipment and completed all work in a single day. Took out the stumps for a reasonable price and removed all debris. Even cut up a chord of firewood for me. Couldnt be more satisfied.

Jim is the best! Fair & reasonable prices and high quality wood that burns nice & slow. I was in dyer need of wood and was down to my very last few pieces, when I called he was all out but had a little bit that he gave me and delivered for free to hold me over and get me through the cold front until he could get a cord prepared for me. That was awesome and we couldn’t be more appreciative! They care more about their customers than any service around that I’ve dealt with in the past. Thank u soo much Jim! Now I don’t have to worry or spend hundreds of dollars on little bags of wood. Tomahawk is now my go to company for firewood!

Jim is a real hands on owner and I appreciate how quickly he got to my house when I had to call him on very short notice.

They did an awful job on my property. They left gigantic stumps on several areas of my property that they hid under debris. They damaged my fence and walkway. They didnt even take consideration when moving the swing set, fire pit and grill back. Only after I called and complained about the awful job that was done did they return and clean some stuff up; however, they still left stumps in several areas. I regret giving them the check prior to confirming the work was done properly. I do not recommend this company nor will I ever use it again.
