So we went there and sat down and the waitress came out and was all in our faces. Mind you there is something called COVID-19. Then they’re appetizers were pretty good. Then we ordered our food and we got our food the lasagna tasted like ricotta cheese and only ricotta cheese. Then we got a gyro and the meat was cold. then we got the chicken stir fry which was sour. But the chicken cilantro bowl was good. But we got the plate and we started eating and the lime was on top of a long thick piece of a hair. So if I was someone who wanted to try something new I would not try here.

I did not feel comfortable with no one wearing mask. The tables were too close together. The food was good.

I love the skirt steak and eggs here! Get it with a side of avocado and an English muffin. I cut the steak up put my over easy egg on my English muffin and add the avocado for the best avocado toast Ive ever had. Bloody Marys here dont have a lot of Acoutrements but are delicious.

Chicken livers - OMG they are so good. Same for the meatloaf and the chili and cornbread. The staff are so nice, very friendly, very clean restaurant. We have also ordered the cakes and pies for our holiday dinners at home.

My husbands hamburger steak was literally so small my small grandchild could eat it and still be hungry. My chicken with onion and green peppers was so bland I would not recommend it. I will go back but definitely wont get those plates again

It was ok. Never been their before. Food was ok, steak was not cook like I ask. Someone was shaving in the bathroom cause the hair was in the sink. Dining area was clean and well maintained. The waitress was good at her job but felt rushed to leave. When we was checking out, I saw 2 of the staff watching 👀making sure we paid, like we was going to dine and dash. It could just be me but when u see people looking at u around corners, u will feel that way.

First time here. Food was delicious and staff was super friendly. A special shout out to Taylor. She was very attentive and kept a welcoming smile on her face.

I dont really recall anything noteworthy about this place.There were two rectangular seating areas with little in the way of design or decoration. TVs on the walls. The sound of people talking.The service was friendly enough, so that was a bright spot.I ordered a Cobb Salad that was unremarkable. It had some chicken that was dry, but I made up for it with extra dressing. The lemon rice soup was pretty good, but everyone said it was amazing but to me, it was like lemony chicken soup.It was a tad difficult to hear, because of the acoustics.I cant say anything was objectionable. More just a lack of inspiration and creativity. This place would benefit from developing an interesting and unique customer experience. Its just too boring to revisit.🥱

Usually the lemon rice soup is pretty good. But tonight the quart of soup was cold, as if it just came from the refrigerator. Maybe, next time it will be at a soup temperature.

The grouper was drenched in butter/oil which made it extremely oily and had a mushy texture. The Greek potatoes and fries were good. The Reuben was flavorless from the chunked corn beef to the sauerkraut.

So I have never been here and we ordered online for curb side pick up. When I showed up to get my order I call the number given to me to have the food brought out the person who answered asked me do you want us to bring it out I ordered curb side then the food was not done by the time they said it was I waited another 15 mins. I ordered the $17 steak rare by the time it was brought to me it was medium well and my fiance ordered fries with hers she got 10 fries no joke 10. The servers where not the warmest people to deal with either. I know where Im not eating again.

This is the third time I have ordered food from them. And the food was horrible again. It seems like nobody in the kitchen cares how the food get prepared. The food really looks like they threw it in the container, not caring. Items that where suppose to be with the food were not there. And whats with the huge hand fulls of pickles with everything?? I did not want any of the food soaked in pickle juice. These are just some of the complaints on how this place is quickly going to hell. Sadly after years of eating there, this last order was the last time we will ever eat there. Only reason it got a star is because it would not post without it

After a year of mostly fast & junk food, I wanted to surprise my family with a decent meal for a change. So I ordered 2 lasagna & 2 meatloaf dinners from Pappas in Crown Point. The reviews on the website & pictures were great. The food was quite expensive and DISGUSTING! The meatloaf looked like FRIED slabs of fluffy hamburger & tasted like it was mostly breadcrumbs & egg. The 8-layer lasagna looked like they threw it in the box and dumped plain red sauce on it. I couldnt see or taste any seasoning in it. And if there was 8 layers of lasagna in there, we couldnt find them. The garlic?bread was a piece of texas toast bread, with butter on one side, dried out on the other. And who on earth serves baked potatoes with lasagna??? Ive had better TV dinners than this. Lesson learned, if you want Italian food, go to an Italian restaurant, or get a Pizza! This place should stick with pretzels and beer!! Gross!!

The restaurant atmosphere and décor looks very nice. The menu is easy to look at, not a book like some other restaurants.I ordered Saganaki (Opa!) and the Lemon Rice SoupSoup spot on. The Saganaki is good, but I do have one complaint. They serve the Saganaki without any sort of vessel for the cheese. They arent the only restaurant to do this, but Saganaki should be offered with 1-2 pieces of pita bread. I ordered a side of pita bread, which was hot and fresh (kudos to that), but if you dont eat the Saganaki right away, the cheese will harden like a brick once the hot pan starts to cool.Overall a good experience, but room for improvement.

Terrible! Do not carryout here. I got the lamb dinner with the sauce on the side and chicken soup for carry out. Got home no sauce just a dry piece of lamb, and no soup. Called them they were about to close the girl left a note said they would call me back. No callback so I called them she said i can just give you the sauce and soup. I said can I have the lamb with it? She said all i can give you is soup and the sauce. What good is sauce with no lamb? To cheap to give me the meal I ordered.

Good breakfast. Lunch/dinner....eh. honestly, alot of Greek owned family restraunts are all the same around these parts. The only difference is some places might offer a little more on the menu than others or maybe a little cheaper. But if your looking for a quick bite to eat, decent service, clean, decent food family style then this is one of the places for you.

Weve had Pappas via DoorDash during the COVID pandemic in 2020, but had never visited the restaurant in-person. Today that all changed with a delicious dinner here in Crown Point!!The outside of the restaurant is unique and it boasts a beautiful dining area inside! The service was great with perfectly timed drink refills and extra napkins without prompting. The saganaki (flaming fried cheese) was an entertaining, but incredibly delicious treat of an appetizer and tasted great!Regardless if youre getting it delivered or dining in, Pappas literally hasnt had a single thing on the menu that I havent enjoyed yet! 5+ stars!

Lots of dirty tables for not being very busy, and not a lot of pride in the greeting or presentation of the menus. “Dressing on the side” means spilled on the side of the salad. Food is good, menu has lots of options. Service could be significantly more engaging and personal.

Recently I visited Pappas again on a Friday night. Food was marginal. We get the same waitress (D - - - -). She smiles when you leave , and does not greet customers. This individual makes dining at Pappas an unpleasant experience. We’ve given this restaurant too many chances. We are done!

Ordered food here for curbside pickup. Said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Daughter went to pick it up, called the restaurant when she arrived, and was told it’s almost ready, and they would bring it out in a couple minutes. 40 MINUTES WENT BY, so my daughter called the restaurant again, and was told “oh my gosh, I am so sorry, your food has been done for a while but I forgot to bring it out to you. No offer to remake the food, which should’ve been the first thing they did, so my daughter brought the food home. Needless to say the food was cold. I called and spoke to the manager and they offered to make the food again if we wanted to come back again. I said no so she said she could send a gift certificate to my house for the total paid. Great gesture! Except she never sent a dime to my house. Very disappointed because they have really good food, but you don’t tell a customer you will refund them if you have no intention to do so.

Ordered curbside online and called when I got there. Menu online was very satisfying. I ordered a Chipotle Ranch burger with a runny egg. Additionally, it came with choice of Lemon Rice soup or Fries, I got the Lemon Rice soup and boy was it Delicious! Also ordered it on a Gluten-Free bread, tasted just like real bread! Came with a side bread roll and a small serving of coleslaw! More bang for your buck!! Definitely would recommend to all the gluten-free or healthy choice people!

Very, very good food. No complaints. Very nice and friendly waitress. I got the sunrise burger. It was so delicious and filling. Only $25 for the 2 of us. With extra sides and switch outs. I believe the waitresses name was Missy. Will recommend to anyone.

Ordered delivery from here tonight. Order came missing one of 3 meals. Called the restaurant and she said, oh I refunded that because we are out of the ingredients. So I said, well shouldnt you have called and said that because there is now someone without a meal. Her response Oh.... um sorry. Didnt even ask if I wanted to order something else. I understand that business has been difficult as of late due to the pandemic, but if you are going to offer delivery etc, the customer should be treated the same as if they were sitting there. You wouldnt just remove a dining room patrons meal from ticket and then not come back and ask if they would like something else. Will not be ordering from there anymore and most likely will not return to being a dining room customer when things get back to normal.

This is great for individuals like me who cannot have gluten and they taste good, too. They also have kept the restaurant very clean and organized long before covid hit.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The menu has great variety. The service is always outstanding. And the prices are better than fair. Food comes quickly and the wait staff are always friendly and attentive. I have never emptied my drink before I am asked about a refill. The Chicken Parmesan is amazing.

This place has excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner, amazing service (even while busy), and has amazing seats. The only thing that I think is kinda bad about there place is the parking lot, but mainly the menus, they dont seem new, mine was stapled together. But other than that, Great Restaurant for a low price.

I was to attend a wedding. Yes - a wedding. We were in the bar area and had a wonderful time. Courtney was our head server and did an awesome job taking care of about 30 people. Appetizers were yummy! Thanks Pappas Restaurant for making Rich and Sheris wedding so memorable.
