The workers here care more than you think at this Lowe’s store. They can’t always help everyone but it doesn’t mean they don’t try. They’re always on the go to get things done and help folks as fast as they can. They’re severely understaffed so if you’re in a hurry, try to be understanding of this. Trainees don’t need to be stressed out. Been going to this Lowe’s for just about everything and no complaints.Two things to keep in mind: if you have been fully vaccinated, you do not have to wear a mask inside anymore.And if you are shopping for plants, make sure you pick up a $5 bottle of insecticidal soap inside where the pest traps are. The store receives a lot of plants and it’s not uncommon for them to have pests like spider mites or aphids. It’s best to check them once you get home, especially your succulents. Give them a good spray down, and keep them separated from other plants in your home until the bugs are gone. Good luck all and have a great summer!!

I enjoy shopping at Lowes but the #1 thing that I really hear everyone talk about is the poor cstmr service when you try to locate someone to get help. Summer time when kids are out of school, they are better. During school time is when its pretty bad.

Lowes, always has been , always will be where to go. For new appliances kitchen bathrooms, wash an dryer , craftsman tools etc etc truly is your home improvement store.Those are the price of lumber is damn near untouchable.

Ive been to CL Lowes three times since Friday and have not only found what Ive needed including a great paint color made by an associate for me but also things I needed BAD but hadnt been in a spot for awhile where all these home items were all in one store, and organized so well, I had to cut myself off from going down more aisles! But def fun to imagine and plan out the future environment one would like to make for their living space, and a wide array of options for any budget! I suppose thats why lowes is a staple and every town has/needs one!

A little bit of everything especially if you are a do-it-yourselfer or a contractor. They even have things that you wouldnt associate with the name Lowes such as cleaning supplies(dish detergent/floor cleaners/laundry detergent/brooms& mops ect...They stay very busy most of the time(especially in the summer) but the store itself is big enough that you dont feel cramped up or have a lot of different people around you! They sell wood but the price of wood is extremely high right now! The prices for most everything else is average. Great place to shop if you are fixing up your home or a home that you bought!

My husband and I ordered a rug last minute on Mothers Day from the Nitro Lowes. We had trouble with the internet and ended up arriving at the store only 5 minutes after the order was placed. LaShawnda and her team made sure to have it ready to go just shortly after our arrival. She even insisted on carrying the rug herself after my husband ran to the door to help. Exceptional staff and very friendly. Thanks again!!!

I think if a product is discounted a Veteran should still get his discount. Other stores do it why cant Lowes. We defended this county and we dont get a added benefit even if its on sale . Just dont like the idea behind that.

You asked. The people who have spent hours and hours trying to create a sales environment that will accentuate a good product mix in a logical and inviting atmosphere, well I feel the Cross Lanes store leaves a lot to be desired. To be fair I dont think the reset is complete. I have been involved in this type of situation in the grocery industry, electronics sales, pharmacies, and automotive retail operations. It is difficult because a great majority of shoppers do not embrace change. I could be possibly persuaded to be more positive after the reset is complete, if there is a flow and positioning of products that is conducive to helping me as a consumer get my project completed.

Worst customer service ever. So hard to find someone in the store to assist you. They only sell appliances. Once you buy it, they don’t care. There is NO service after the sale. I’ve been trying for over a week to get assistance on an appliance that is supposed to be replaced under warranty, and all I’ve gotten so far (when I haven’t been disconnected and hung up on) is “Someone will call you back”. After a call to their corporate office, I finally did get a call back. The guy was nice but all I got was my 6th “Someone will call you back.” Hopefully, this time, someone will but I’m not counting on it. If I don’t, my next call won’t be to Lowes-it will be to the BBB.

Dont trust the online purchase system, call the store. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because of the very helpful people. Bought a saw online, went to pick it up and they didnt have it in-stock when the system said they had two. The other Lowes near us, where the system said they had none, told the very nice employee helping us that they had several. Not sure thats correct. At least it shouldnt be that way by design.

Waiting at the hardware desk to buy $50 in merchandise and several transponder keys, which arent cheap. Waiting for over 30 minutes now for service after hitting the NEED HELP button. After calling customer service, I was told that someone would be there to help me shortly, Travis must be at lunch. PA system broadcast a code 3 to hardware and it was still another 10 minutes before another employee came by randomly to ask if I needed help. NOT the standard of service Im used to experiencing with Lowes. Once Travis came back, he was GREAT. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Major failure on the part of management today to making sure the department was staffed.

I waited 5 hours for a replacement washer to show up (the brand new one I purchased last week arrived broken) I am not moved into my new place yet so I was waiting outside for an entire evening.Every hour they told me they would be there in a hour until 10pm when they just never showed up even tho they told me they were in Dunbar and would be to my apartment in Cross Lanes shortly at 9:30!!

Terrible They sell it to u and within 4 months my brand new craftsman lawnmower was ran 3 times that started smoking They said they say they dont have it the computer Id have to go to the bank to get a copy of the check Bought a microwave have had it 2 months and it caught in fire They put new doors they wont lock and the screen came out and also Ive tried since May to get them to fix it They called about 3 weeks ago said they made it a priority and have not come back or called WOW

This is an average hardware store. I have walked through the store with an anti-theft alarm going off on a package because I could not find someone to turn it off. I have also had associates spend a half hour trying to locate mis-filed work orders to help me and call other locations to verify stock and ask them to hold it until I could get there. Just like everywhere it is nore of the individuals that will determine your shopping experience. Make sure you tell the managers about the bad AND the good.

We waited 20 minutes trying to find an employee to help with our purchase. We called the store to have someone sent to appliances to help us. Waited another 20 minutes. Went to the front registers and asked for help to be sent back. No one came. Finally, another employee sent someone over who was coming back from lunch. I only stayed because Home Depot did not have the item in stock. I will never purchase from this store again.

Lowes is Lowes lol. The benefit of coming to this Lowes is the people are super friendly. Not as knowledgeable as some of the other more niche stores but they make up for it with a great smile and attitude.

Not following code for mask some customers didnt have mask. Was looking for something to get rid of bees asked 2 different workers and they werent very knowledgeable.

If I could give the Nitro store “0” stars, I would. I’ve been going to this store for years and have spent so much money and time. Yesterday, I had a good bit of money to spend and could not get any satisfaction from one of the store managers in regards to their delivery fee. I wasn’t even able to get one of their Customer Service Associates to assist me with my order. As I was leaving, customers came up to me and remarked about the lack of service I had received. I left and went to another store and received courteous service. I never mentioned one negative comment about your store. The Customer Service Associate immediately assisted with my order. Took her time in explaining what I needed and worked with me to keep my order within budget. Lowe’s needs more conscientious people like her.

Customer service is ALWAYS lacking at Lowes. All of them. Never been to a good one. Can never find help when I need it but.... they have items I need and are close to the other stores I go it. I prefer Home Depot, the people are nicer and they have the same products, well... close enough lol

Purchased a set of drills last night. Security tag on the box and the box was sealed. However after getting home and opening, the set was missing a charger and both drills were clearly used.One of the drills even had a name written on them. I immediately called and made them aware of the problem and the service rep said she would get another and put it back for trade. Go there today to trade em out and got treated like some kind of criminal. Very poor customer service,I spent close to $700 yesterday alone. My husband is a contractor and spends massive amounts of money weekly but no more. From now on hes directing his customers to Home Depot and we wont be spending another dime there. Weve had issues before and let them slide but enough is enough.

Pick another Lowe’s, the management doesn’t have time to assist employees with product/return challenges costing you time and money. Wait times on pick ups are excessive and often incorrect.

Went to lowes to price grills and found the right one

Purchased gutters from here 2 months ago. Someone came about a month ago and took measurements. They never returned. 2 months later Im out the money and dont have my gutters. What I do have is rain pouring down a brand new mobile home. No one at the store or corporate seems concerned. Will not be buying anything else from them!

Horrible business. I placed an order for birch plywood and table saw on Wednesday. Thursday, the delivery showed up, and the plywood was so wet it was separating by the layer. No one had any idea about the table saws location, it wasnt with the delivery. Went in person to the store, and was told that they attempt to deliver again on Tuesday. After making arrangements to receive the delivery for the 2nd time, and after receiving a confirmation call about the delivery, Tuesday Lowes called back and said they were overbooked? It would be later in the week and I would get a phone call.I will never spend a penny at Lowes again. I will drive another 25 miles just to go to Home Depot.

Trying to find someone to help with products proved to be pointless. I had to get a customer with a knife to cut the bands on a stack of lumber. To many items in the lumber section that are not labeled with a price.

Theres a pretty decent bunch working this store. I never had any problem getting help finding something. Also, if you have a project, they will help you work out measurements and material list.Also, Craftsman products are available.UpdateI have to add: for the 2nd time, I tried to do an online order to pick up. I did it on my cell. Bad idea. When I tried to retrieve the order number, I got blasted by popup ads for instore and the order disappeared. Very irritating. I went home and canceled the order.
