You’ll feel the vibe to skate as soon as you walk through the door. This rink knows how to make skating fun. Their staff is friendly and very accommodating. Take a skate lesson if you want to really learn how to skate. They play the best music that makes you want to move on skates. You’ll find very tasty food in their cafe. They also have a game room and redemption counter. Be sure to take the entire family and make it quality time for everyone.

My children went here for the first time with their church. They love Skate Zone after that! We go to skate zone as much as we can on the weekends when I dont have to work! The staff is professional, friendly, skillful with skating, and fun!

The restrooms were unkept. The facility was overcrowded. At any given time the capacity was at least 100 or more guest at a time. The majority of the patrons didnt wear mask. This was unhealthy for the number of patrons in one place at one time. Didnt notice much sanitizing from the staff of the facility. My first time at this facility and possibly my last. Upon arrival the staff was pleasant and welcoming. The services went downhill from that point.

This is not our normal place to skate. But it was a good experience. We had fun. The skates arent great. Everything else is.

My daughter and I enjoy this skating rink. We started going last year to the Monday 10a-12p sessions where children could bring scooters, big wheels, tricycles, skates, etc. We just went this past Monday to the 1p-4p session and had a good time. Its clean, not too crowded and the arcade has decent games where the children can accumulate enough tickets to redeem decent prizes. Ive also been to a weekend evening session that was fun but, as you can imagine, a little crowded. That was earlier this year during the winter season. That staff is very cordial. Ill definitely continue to go back.

AWESOME Family Fun! First off, the staff took ALL COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS SERIOUSLY! We all had on masks, the place was generously spaced and there were cleaning/hand sanitizer stations throughout the location. The staff were friendly and courteous, making our visit safe, fun and pleasant. PERFECT for families needing an activity!

Very nice place to skate. If you have skates, I recommend that you bring your own. The skates run in whole sizes and can be very uncomfortable after a while on your feet. Otherwise great place to visit.

My granddaughters Birthday party was a perfect affair. The staff decorated perfectly and included personalized Birthday greetings on the tables.The food was plentiful and delicious.The staff was very courteous and took care of all our needs. They served the food!I highly recommend Skate Zone for your party needs or just to have some fun.

Scott at Skate Zone was awesome, really great service got some new wheels and strings put them in really fast i had plenty of time to try them out thanks again will come back.

I do enjoy this place especially because my significant other used to frequent this place for several years so he knows most of the skaters and the staff. Everyone here is pretty fun. We went before the pandemic and weve gone twice after the pandemic and it seems they have some type of damage to the ramp because theres a soft spot underneath the carpet like someone spilled some liquid on it and it sat there during the entire pandemic and eroded the floor. You can tell its an older place because the skating floor has patches and the carpet is so worn down and stained. Their prices seem to be pretty reasonable now. I dont think there as low as they used to be but theyre creeping down. They do have a mini arcade area with about 7 games. I think the games are $1. The lockers are .75 and the roller canes are 5.75. the djs are good and seem to have a good time. I havent purchased a party package yet so I cant speak on that.

I came in to book my party @7 months before (well in advance). All of my queries were answered, promptly. I did not have to worry about anything. When, I arrived tables had been set up the way I had sent via email. They even had the necessary cords for my photo booth. The young woman in charge of handling my party was very polite & cheerful. She made sure that everyone was good. The wings & pizza were on point. My guests had a BALL!!! I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend Skate Zone for your next event or just to skate.

Avid skater here.This place can be good for kids and birthday parties, however I highly recommend adults who are uncertain of their skating ability to stay away from this rink. The rink is stone not wood, this means any falls sustained will be much worse on your body.The rink requires a step up to get into. In my experience, this is worse because it make safely exiting the rink dangerous.The rink size is average. Due to this few people skate fast.Positives: Sufficient walls to learn on. Sound system is good. DJ plays music videos on the wall. Lights are turned off frequently. There is a small by decent arcade.

Went during a Wednesday 3-5 time. If youre just learning to skate check their schedule for day skate times.

Here for a family outing. Quite crowded and loud as one would expect. But excellent atmosphere to have a good time. Recommend any skater to bring your own skates.

This place is ran by children; No one enforces rules. As kids were falling and getting hurt by skaters passing by, the referee was having a blast doing dangerous stunts when his job is to make sure everyone is being safe on the floor while having fun. People would stand at the barriers and huddle, people would sit on the barriers, it was just an overall mess. And it has been like this for the four years I have been coming here. I come once every 6 months, thinking things will be different. But last Thursday was definitely the last straw. I really hope they get more responsible staff like the Laurel and Lanham locations.

Never again.. charge way more than other rinks and only about half the size of others. Lights were nice the whole 5 mins they were on (kept turning bright lights back on) but other than that it was extremely crowded and I left within an hour.

It was fun watching the kids skating. Within 3 attendances, my grand daughter was ready to drop the bar or learning aid as seen in the picture and was skating without the bar.She is so excited and cant wait to return to the ring. Its interesting to watch 3, 4 year olds skating by themselves. You can also pay for private tutoring but the kids learn faster just by watching the more experienced ones. Pretty usual for a skate rink. Smells mildly of feet, lots of teens skating circles around me, and the nostalgic feel of days gone by.Seemed like some of the teens werent following the rules as they were stated by staff, but Id go back during a less popular time next time.

The kids had a great time today until some teens started fighting and ruined the end of the session. I recommend they remove individuals sooner when causing problems before it turns into a brawl like today.These teens were warned several times but not removed and ruined all the fun.

Had a blast here with my family. Equipment (rental skates) were the best Ive seen period. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Definitely coming back.

Decent place. It costs about $13 per person to enter and rent skates there. Add $5 if you need to rent a mobile stand for a child. The food is a little pricey, but not too bad.

My kids and I have been here a few times, staff is friendly, facilities are clean. My only gripe would be the music selection.

My family and I had a great time at Skate zone, we paid for the back to school package which included 4 skate rentals, pizza, pitcher of soda and 20 tokens for the Game Center. We had a blast, the staff was friendly, especially Ken. Ken was so very personable and patient with us, we truly enjoyed our visit. Skate zone also offers both quads and roller blades which I was really happy about, we took quite a few tumbles (we are novice skaters) and enjoyed having the rink practically to ourselves. This place is definitely worth a visit.

It was awesome, everyone had mask on and it was significantly less people but it was still amazing to do an indoor activity with the children. They really enjoyed themselves, and I got to attempt to lose some of my pandemic pounds!😂

I am from Texas and the costs were exorbitant here. I have osteoporosis and was just here to give a ride, but had to pay over $7 to be in the building. The skating costs were $24!

I took my daughter on a Monday during age 10 and under (Sprout) skating. The hours are 10am-noon. The facility was clean and proper protocols were followed. It was nice not to have to worry about any older children running over these little folks. The admission included skate rental, drink and skate mate. During this time all types of wheels are welcomed including scooters. We will probably return.

Like everyone we were looking for things that the kids could do safely this summer due to COVID. Purchased the summer pass that is now good until the end of the October due to the late start this summer. The kids are having a blast and getting more comfortable with skating, I no longer have to rent the skate mate for my 7 yo, yay! We are all taking lessons with Ms. Wendy, who is phenomenal. Not only are my kids having fun but I am renewing the enjoyment of skating that I had from my childhood. They are keeping the place clean and it is not overcrowded. If you are looking for something fun to do with the kids check them out.

Its a great place to hangout and skate. You can choose songs (if they have it). I havent tried the food so I cant comment on it. They support kids skate free and allow you to bring your own skates. They also have skate times such as skating backwards and racing but if you dont know how to skate backwards or not an adult (adult only skate) there times where you wont be able to skate. These times are kinda often but not enough to dock a star. If you just want to learn how to skate or hangout with friends this is a great place to be.

An amazing time to spend with family and friends

We had around 20 kids at my daughters birthday party yesterday and it was awesome. Ali our hostess was also wonderful. The kids had a great time and did not want to leave. The parents had a great night because on the ride home or not long after getting home the kids fell asleep. Yessssss

The rink was quite small and way too many people, plus the amount of skate assistance racks made it impossible to enjoy skating, I will be sure to only come next during adult time only

I had a private party there. They only had two workers running around. I asked them to charge adult they just let everyone come in without paying. Overall we enjoy ourselves. I just wished i came in when i reserve my date, a lot of miscommunication.

I have been roller skating for over 30 years. Love skating at Crofton skate zone, very family friendly. Floor is not wooden but the facilities are maintained very well.

My Grandaughter friend was having a birthday party here this evening from 3 - 4pm. I was running a little late for getting to the skate party with my Granddaughter. The lady at the desk was so professional. She already had the arm band and everything ready for her to join her crew for the party. Nice, clean atmosphere. There lot of parking. Great job team , keep up the wonderful work!! I highly will recommend this place to everyone.

The skating rink is large enough to handle big crowds. The arcade games a little over priced just to win tickets so you can then buy plastic trinkets. Pizza was good for a kids party. Lets face it, if you are 8 years old its a blast.

We had a great time.The crowd changes after 8pm on Saturdays, the high school kids take over. They need a clean up crew... Trash everywhere! Where theres trash, there are rodents and roaches. If they kept the place clean like they used to, they wouldve had 5 stars from me.
