This was quite honestly the WORST gel pedicure I have ever paid for! I’m so upset I paid for a service that I was completely disappointed in! $62 and looks like a child painted my nails and I was leaving for a family beach trip and just had to live with it! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I wish I could say they made up for it with a great massage but she just rubbed lotion in, talked my ears off (while my eyes were closed) and called it a day. AWFUL- does not even deserve the one star!

I decided to treat myself and boy am I glad I did. Victoria & Tina are the absolute best! All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and talented. I get long stiletto acrylic nails with designs, gel, and they’re literally perfect. I also got the best pampering pedicure, with a gorgeous scent, massage, wax massage, stone massage, callus removal, and a pedi. I even got a bit of wine. Very relaxing, fantastic work. Very professional, clean, and it’s worth every penny.

I love to go to this salon. I drive all the way from Annapolis just to see Victoria! She is amazing, my nails are always perfect and she is very professional. The salon looks amazing after all the remodeling and they have been amazing with COVID compliance. I feel safe going there and am always extremely happy with the finished product. First time here based on a referral. The place is clean and inviting. I was taken care of by Snow. She did a guest job and was very attentive to my needs.It was a good experience overall. You can do a walk-in but I can tell that location can get busy real quickThe only reason why I marked 4 and not 5 is because I called ahead for an appt and it appeared they had no record.On a side note when I was leaving I notice there is an Avalon II. So I could have scheduled with a different location than they one I went to.

Facial was wonderful. Hair cut was way too expensive. $75 for just a trim, no style with a wash and blowdry.

Went in and asked for gel polish only, not a full manicure and the gentleman doing my nails must not have understood correctly. Anyway, still charged me full price, have been going here for years but plan to try something new now.

A wonderful peaceful setting very professional. I was referred by my sister who has been going to Avalon nails for years. My nails were done by Kevin, Im so happy with them. Its been a while since Ive had my nails done and I appreciate the time Kevin took with my nails. Im definitely going back again in 3 weeks.

I have gotten acrylics and regular manicures (not gel)The policy is the same here as it is every other place. If you get the right tech it’s great, but if you get the wrong tech it’s definitely not good. On that same note you can tell some of the techs are still perfecting acrylics, and that means they do slip up. They also are the same in their pricing, they are money grabbers and will try to get you to do gel every single time you walk in. If you do not specify you want regular polish they will give you gel.The worst experience I have ever had is when I did not tip. My reason for not tipping was that the service wasn’t the best, she ignored my requests (which I suspect might be due to a language barrier, she had a very strong accent) and just didn’t do the best especially when you’re already paying a bunch. She also did not soak my acrylic she just ripped them off with a palette knife with was painful. However, after you tip is when they apply the nail polish which I (disclaimer) obviously do not know how that affects their service but. She globbed it on. I sat under the dryer with poorly shaped nails and globs of nail polish for twenty minutes (she never checked up on me despite walking past me several times) and it still did not dry. I went to sleep at night and woke up and it had wrinkles in it from the sheets. A waste of $25, I could’ve done the same at home.

I called 30 minutes prior to arrival, they said to come in and see if I could get a gel mani done. I arrive they tell me to wait in my car for 15 minutes and then they can take me. I wait 15 go back in, they had given my a lot away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

This place has the very rudest people! I just needed a re-polish on 2 nails. Once they found out it wasn’t a full treatment, I was given a totally different attitude. When the attendant finally took me, she used the electric buffer to remove the polish instead of just polish remover. The whole time she was constantly talking to her co-workers, probably about me, bad assumption I know but....I couldn’t find the same regular polish, so I asked her to put 2 coats on so I could see if it matched... total silence. I then asked if she heard me, she yells at me! That was enough, I told her to take the polish off, asked her how much I owed, paid it & left. I definitely would not recommend this place.

This is a very nice nail salon! Got acrylics (full set) today. Came with my great-grandmother and she got a mani-pedi. The nail-technician was very gentle and made us comfortable in the already pleasing atmosphere. She took her time to do our nails and they came out spectacular for this holiday season! Definitely would recommend this nail salon to anyone!

I used to LOVE this place. But the last two times have just been *okay*. Polish only seems to last a couple of days before chipping off. When i do it myself it will last weeks. Also the staff doing pedicures doesnt seem to want to be there. And barely said a word to me. And then when we went to pay they wanted me to pay full price for my 13 year old daughter even though they clearly have a different price for children 9-13 years old. They even asked for her id. Um, what 13 year old has an id?? At any rate Ill be looking for a new nail salon. Which is sad because Ive referred many customers there.

I have not had a bad experience since l started going here in February. Started going because one of my nails was starting to split and l didnt want to lose the nail. Ever since, Ive been very happy with the way the technicians work.

I like Tee a lot. He does a good job on my nails and makes the little changes that I ask for without ever getting an attitude.

They should spend less time on their phones and be more engaging. Cut my finger because she was on her phone. I am a dentist with a practice would not treat my patients with so little care .

Sky & Mia are the best manicurists & pedicurists that I have experienced in a very long time. Mia is also amazing waxing eyebrows. They remember your name and ask about your family. All around great customer service!

I don’t recommend this place. I went to get a full set of acrylics and it was very rushed she seemed like she wanted to get my nails done as quickly as possible so she could go back to talking to her friends. My nails turned out crooked and uneven. If you’re looking for a quality manicure this is not the place to go

Get my pedicures here. I like it very much. They actually have lamps that have UV light that actually harden your polish unlike some nail places that just replace them with regular light. I always come back here. Great, great place!

If i could leave one star i would, the technician i got was very impersonable and barely did anything for the money paid. Honestly i could have given myself a better manicure and pedicure. Got my nails done gel manicure on a Thursday and by Saturday they were lifting, i just let it slide, well by yesterday (Wednesday) every single nail has lifted. Less than a week and over 70 bucks down the drain, my pedicure she didn’t even look at my feet when scrubbing. I called this morning and they only offer to fix, well i live out of town so that’s not feasible, no refund whatsoever. I will never ever visit this place again.

I had a appointment for my gel manicure and pedicure. I guess my nail tech wanted to leave because everybody else was gone. So he gave me some bs about my nail broken and wont hold the gel. Well they have lost me as a customer. These young nail tech now have no work ethic. Its all about the fastest way to get you out to do what they wanna do. This can not be the original owner. Their customer service has gone down big time.

Terrible!!! I had a 6:30 appointment and they said I would be taken right away and when I sat down in the chair, the lady got all the nail polish and was ready to paint my nails, then she disappeared for 30 minutes. Apparently she started to paint someone elses nails and just left me there with no word as to why. Finally I get them done and the next morning, without me doing ANYTHING they chip! I paid thirty freaking bucks for this and it doesnt even last one day! I would give this place NO STARS if I could! Im never going back! Looks like My Nails has a new customer!!

Definitely a case of Bait & Switch!I googled and found this place to do a jelly pedicure and hot stone foot massage for my Mom on her 60th birthday. Well, I requested someone very experienced for my mom and anyone for me. We got whatever they had on staff that early in the morning. Needless to say, the service was horrible!! They acted like they barely wanted to touch us. The massage was the absolute worst ever, we couldnt feel anything, no pressure whatsoever. The cleaning was the fastest we had ever experienced and again very lightly touched during the whole service with their gloves on. The chairs were not the same pedicure chairs on their website and neither is the whole reception area. This is not the business thats all over their website!! They kept claiming they had another location in the same shopping center, ALL LIES!!!!! Beware!! Also, they tried to charge me $55 when the website clearly says $45 for Jelly pedicure they did honor the website price but nothing to say about the website presenting pictures that werent at their place of business. The worst $90 I ever spent and I always tip but my Mom made sure I didnt leave a dime!!!! Never again!!

I have been a repeat customer of Avalon Nail Salon for about 5 or 6 years now. I go to them religiously every 2wks & have never once had a bad experience. The technicians are all polite, professional & eager to please. Admittedly I am a difficult client. I want what I what. If it doesnt look right, Im going to speak up. No matter what the issue may be even if the nail chips or breaks later, they are ALWAYS accommodating & willing to fix it. Their NEW pedicure chairs are FABULOUS. They are always up to date on the lasted nail designs, & if therere not familiar with what you looking for youre encouraged to bring in a picture for reference. They have renovated their primary location. Now they offere you, coffee, tea, bottle water all in a beautifully decorated salon with reasonable prices. I wish I could rate them higher. I am a loyal costumer for life.

I went to Avalon Nail Spa for the first time today. Ive been looking for a new place to get my nails done. I called around3 and had no problem making a 5:30 appointment. I was greeted immediately by the gentleman behind the desk and half the staff. I waited just as long as it took me to choose a color. I was taken over for my pedicure which was lovely. Their pedicure area is not only relaxing but it is also level with the floor. No platform for those that are concerned about tripping or falling. The pedicure chris are great. Very comfortable massage chair. I could have used a little more force in my massage but I understand not everyone likes that. She started my manicure and we had a conversation with the customer next to me about the SNS Dip. Mid mani I changed my mind and wanted that. My technician Vee Vee never missed a beat and we switched immediately. She did a beautiful job and was very concerned with making me happy. I look forward to my next trip there. Oh and their salon is very nicely decorated as well.

I asked for facial, she gave me an instant discount and reduce the price to get my business. When actual service started she put some oil on my face and gave me a massage on my face, it was awful. Never returning to this place. Very unethical asian store.

This salon was awful, I wanted to gift me and my mother a nice christmas gift by getting pedicures. Compared to other places all this place did was wash our feet, and paint our toe nails. They didnt even try to use a foot scrub or get the dead skin off our feet. And for most places that service is included in a “Classic Pedicure”. I spent 50$ on two pedicures just to get my feet washed and painted. Then the lady walked away and never helped escort me to the drying station she just started texting. This was the worst service I ever had.

My gel manicure officially lasted 4 DAYS. I want my money back.

The staff is friendly. Tina is a fantastic nail tech, you should definitely ask for her if you decide to go there and appointments are best; she has a loyal clientele.
