I was looking for printer ink for a very old printer our non-profit has. I was told they no longer make this cartridge (I expected this the last few times I entered due to the printer age). I found Richard and explained the situation and our needs and he immediately knew exactly what printer to recommend to me. I purchased the printer and Conner helped me at checkout. This was by far the BEST experience Ive had at an Office Depot. Both Conner and Richard listened to me, did not try to upsell me and answered all of my questions and even helped me to my car. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

My print order was done wrong. The guy wasnt very friendly after I pointed it out and he blamed me. I wasnt going to argue, but when a customer sends you a picture with a gap of white on one side, you dont cut that off to make the words off center. I have experience working in the Copy and Print department, this was not okay. Plus you dont tell the customer it was their fault, you just make them happy with their print. Uncalled for behavior as I was very friendly. He didnt even fix it, he had someone else and didnt talk to me after that. They were not busy when he handed my project to her that he messed up. The woman who took over was friendly and we had a good conversation, thats why they got 2 stars instead of 1.

Went in completely stressed out trying to get menus printed for our restaurants opening the next day. Richard was beyond helpful! The whole staff wore masks and were social distancing! Definitely five stars!!

I needed business cards printed out and Kenton thy works in the printing department was very rude and difficult to work with for no obvious reason. I initially called at 9:00am to check on a reprint order and he told me that he’d hadn’t gotten to it. Then, I called back at 1:30 on and he rudely told me that he still didn’t gotten around to looking at it and not to call him back because he’ll call me when he gets to it. I wound up going to a different location and had my cards within 20 minutes by a wonderful employee that was super helpful and professional. Kenton was just problematic!

Drove 30 min bc I reveived a text saying my print order was ready. Arrived and was told it wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for 4 more hours. The manager said the text are automated and they don’t control them.... Wasted an hour plus.

These office hours are wrong. I drove 45 mins to get here before work to get a router and they aren’t even open. It was a huge inconvenience. The staff themselves are fine when I go in there. This was a huge set back to my morning.

Extremely rude staff. I had an employee, female with long brown hair, give me major attitude while I was looking around. I was minding my own business and she asked me in a sassy voice “do you need anything?”, then proceeded to walk away before I could reply. Very disappointed.

Very short wait but greeted quickly. I asked a series of questions and indicated some if my preferences for a ink her printer. The associate suggested the make and model that I had read positive reviews. We went thru a few installation questions and again he was on target.

Im swapping this printer out for a different one that the box isnt bashed in while deciding on the model I wanted, and the reply was thats just the way they come off the truck, theyre fine, was not the answer I was looking for. Mostly they were very nice but maybe a little lacking in knowledge that the printer I was getting was a newer higher end model and that was why they didnt stock any ink in store. The store in Fairview Heights is a bit better and more knowledgeable.

Office Depot on Ross fixed a problem on my husbands pc that others could not. When a communication problem came up, they apologized and even compensated us for our trouble. Thank you Sam for your care and concern. Plus they have a great selection. My husband found a chair he loved.

The supplies are well stocked and the prices are good. The service here is pretty average. A guy did come up and ask if I needed help. I gave him a list and he pointed around the store at some areas I might find the things on my list. I did find most of them so he knew his stuff but he was a bit unsure and didnt bother to help me find anything. The cashier was slow as hell but thats to be expected because my cart was loaded with after school clearance stuff and I had a coupon.

Their keypad on card swiper does not work well and the cashier was not patient enough to talk to me, greet me or nothing. That is the reason for three star.

Service is average to poor. Last time I felt I was being surveyed. I was checking to buy an office chair. The employee was more concerned about keeping an eye on me than in helping me out. Will get the chair elsewhere.

Id give zero stars for this store if I could. This store has some of the worst customer service skills Ive ever experienced. I purchased a paper shredder online. I had a reward certificate, a VISA gift card, and I was going to pay the small balance with a credit card. The site wont let you have multiple payment methods so I figured Id just let them call me to get the credit card information for the remainder. The woman I talked to apparently didnt understand English well enough to do anything except get my credit card information because despite me explaining several times about the gift card, she charged the entire amount of the order to my credit card, even eliminating my reward certificate amount. So I go down to this physical store in Creve Coeur. After explaining what happened, the guy I talked to said there wasnt anything he could do in store about it but called their customer support number for me. I was on the phone no less than 20 minutes with some manager who said he would fix it (very slowly), but before he got anything actually done, we get disconnected. The store manager then comes over and asks if he can call them back for me. At this point Im livid and leave. I call the customer service number when I get home and get some gal who says I need to call some other number because of the reward certificate. I call that number and its a tech support line for the web site and they arent open on the weekends. I call the customer service number again and demand to immediately talk to a supervisor. This supervisor is less helpful than the first one and says she can open a case and someone will call me Monday! Really?! I wasted more than an hour of my time at this point and she wants me to wait for a call back on Monday when Ill be at work and unable to spend who knows how long on the phone with someone who may or may not get my issue resolved. I saw on their site that you can return some items to a local store. I asked if I could do that with the shredder and I was told yes. Not wanting to visit the unhelpful Creve Coeur store again, I drive down to the OfficeMax location in the Chesterfield Valley. I walk in, explain the situation to the cashier, she calls over a manager. In less than 5 minutes she had the return processed, repurchase with the reward certificate and VISA gift card applied, and me walking out the door finally satisfied my issue was resolved. Chesterfield Valley location could handle the situation, but the Creve Coeur location couldnt do anything?! Really?!

Customer service is not what it should be. Clerks looked tired/bored and one relied on pointing (!) several aisles away when I asked where magnifying glasses were located. Also the checkout procedure is beyond goofy and one cashier just stood at his register staring into space while customers were waiting in line. So glad I only need to go there once or twice a year!
