Both women up front are unfriendly with a bad attitude. They charge $350 to process 4 elk quarters. You get no break in price for bringing in four quarters compared to bringing in a whole elk that they have to skin and quarter first. Raised their price $75 in just two years. Last two elk I brought them (4 quarters and backstraps) yielded 80 pounds of meat from a big bull elk and 92 pounds from a cow elk. Seems wrong, and suspicious.They have help wanted signs posted. Use a competitor instead. Brothers does not appreciate your business but instead acts like they are doing you a favor.

The lady at the front is Extremely rude!!! Not friendly at all! Also they do not give you all of your meat back! We took in a 1400 pound cow to get hamburger and got back 350lbs of hamburger. I would not recommend! Never would use them again!

This company is great Ive used them for both processing of wild game and shopping for higher end meats. The service is always friendly and helpful, the quality is great and although youll pay a tad more as a chef Ill say its worth it to have the right quality ingredients to have a great final dish. They all have stuff you wont find in the rest of town frog legs, rabbit, etc

Be very careful bringing your wild game here, I brought them a big bull elk and only received 100 pounds of meat back, I ended up with two small packages of the backstrap steaks, that was it. We took our time in the field cutting it up cleanly and putting every scrap meat we could in the game bags, these folks will rip you off if you’re not a local. I hope they enjoyed the back straps from my elk! I hate it when shops like this screw out of state people because we don’t have any other options.

Brothers has always done a great job with processing wild game. Employees are very nice and professional. There are other meat products have always been great. I would highly recommend brothers in Craig.

If I could give them a zero I would. We have been long time customers who have brought them lots of business. In July we scheduled 5 cows to be processed today. Cows being cows, they were difficult to load in the dark this morning so consequently we did not arrive at 8AM sharp, it was closer to nine after the 1 1/2 hour drive to get there. They refused to take the animals. This not only affects our business it also affects the customers that have been waiting since July to get beef. Their customer service and quality has been declining over the past several years and this is the final straw. We will never use them again and we most certainly would never recommend them to anyone again. Not sure how you would justify treating a loyal customer this way.

This was my first time in Colorado. I brought my mule that I harvested and before I even received my meat I noticed right away that the antlers were cut off the skull when I had paid for a European mount, their response was simply “oh...sorry”. Upon receiving my meat cuts, my fellow hunter that had also had his buck processed had 20 more lbs of meat than mine which was missing the front quarters...hmmm interesting. After all of this happened a few of the locals said that this is a common theme with this company, blending other peoples hamburger and skimming cuts off your animal have been reported in the past. I’m giving theses people 1 star because you can select anything lower. If you come to Craig don’t do what I did or you’ll be extremely disappointed, stay away.

Brothers was recommend by our outfitter at Ivory Tip Outfitter to process our cow. When we arrived, we were surprised to see that its more than just a meat processor, you can get all kinds of quality meats (including shellfish), spices, and a great assortment of knives.We were further surprised when the gal at the front desk told us we could get our cow processed and ready to go by the next morning. Wow, we were expecting a few weeks turn around time, not the next day! We usually process our own meat, but we were in a bind with our truck in the shop, so having the availability of Brothers was a blessing. We felt they had great rates, too.

They treat their employees horribly. Worked there for not too long and got clocked out by the manager while I was still working, another went right in my face and starting yelling at me like a lunatic all because the computer had the pricing set wrong. Got blamed on numerous occasions for things simply out of my control. Horrible place I don’t recommend supporting their business.

Had a misunderstanding about my order. Tried to address the issue with one of the employees at the counter and she was extremely rude to me. All the other employees I have had nothing but positive experiences with.

Ive been taking our deer to Brothers for over 20 years and can honestly say they are the best! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and have a very quick turn around. I cant tell you how many times Ive dropped off a deer on a Saturday night and they have it packaged and ready Sunday morning. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Been here twice since moving to Craig. Sadly I was disappointed with the meat selection. The only thing that I liked was the meat stick snacks they had. So I went back specifically to get some and was over charged per the price posted. I waited to see if the lady that rung me up would do anything about it but she had a don’t care attitude and said “oh well it’s just marked wrong.” Not sure if this is a Colorado thing, but since we moved here 2 months ago I’ve noticed poor customer service everywhere. It not like that back in Florida. Both ladies from both visits were rude and put off a bad vibe. I won’t be back 😰

Cooked off their bacon for Sombrero Ranch,after the GREAT AMERICAN HORSE DRIVE.It only shrunk alittle.It was perfectly ,lightly smoked and it cooked up lIke a dream.i would order it and have my privately clients eat it,as well. THEY are all big game hunters too.I would dearly love,to feed them some elk back strap.I highly recommend them.

Buy fully cooked and sauced rubes here every chance I get on Saturdays a good part of the summer.........worth the hour and a half round trip drive.
