Called Phil to look at my whirlpool duet dryer, he returned my call in a timely fashion. I asked him about his service fee he said $70 plus parts. I mentioned I called someone else and I just needed to reach out to them about pricing. He said If you have someone else then nevermind to which I said Are you in steamboat or here in Craig? Just for future reference as Its nice to know who I can call and I may still need you to check it out. He said no thanks and hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional.

Phil was assigned by Whirlpool as my products are under warranty and he was great. Quickly identified the issue and fixed the problem. He was professional and timely. I hope I dont have any more issues, but if I do, I will call Phil!

Working through a warranty company, Phil was assigned to repair my ice maker. I started the process in August 2019, I made monthly, sometimes weekly phone calls to both Phil and the warranty company to coordinate the repairs. Initially there was a mix up with the information sent to Phil from the warranty company, but I have been extremely patient This past year. 3 parts were tried over the course of the 10 months, none of them solved the issue. Phil called in and closed the claim with the warranty company, he stated that he had fixed the issue. I have photos of water just filling up the entire bucket and freezing into an ice block, but the warranty company didn’t confirm with me that he fixed the issue nor did Phil. Ice takes a day so there is a lag after the visit and the repair needs to be confirmed with the customer. I texted him photos immediately and he says he never got them. I ended up only calling him when the warranty company was on the line with me. Long story short I paid for a fridge with an ice maker and a warranty for peace of mind. Both the Appliance and Warranty have failed me, and feels like Phil sabotaged the claim.
