Great place with great owners. I’d much rather spend my money here than at the box box stores. My only issue is I spend way to much money here. Try the rubs by Kosmo they sell here. You won’t be disappointed.

Larry, the friendly kind quick professional helped me the second I walked in, I was searching for key copy section and he was available honest and fast. ****BUYERS BEWARE....AVOID ACE HARDWARE AND ESPECIALLY THE COVINGTON, GA LOCATION****ACE HARDWARE has a 30 day return policy with the exception of Gift Cards or Gas-Powered Outdoor Equipment. Despite the corporate policy this store refuse my return of flowers purchased 2 days before. At the time of purchase this store didn’t have any signage near the plants to indicate all flowers were final sale. Additionally, the sales person/cashier never mentioned returns wouldn’t be honored. I contacted the ACE HARDWARE customer service number and they weren’t helpful with ensuring this location honored the 30 Day Return policy. I was told each store has the option to make up flawed policies whenever they feel like it and they don’t have to communicate them openly to their customers until it’s convenient for the company. I guess this explains why they don’t print their return policy on the receipt because it doesn’t exist. At this point I’m stuck with flowers that I don’t need because of shady unprofessional tactics by the Covington, Ga “Management” team. After this experience I would advise everyone to patronize a different hardware store chain that operates with integrity, trustworthy, and values their customer experience.

Had what I needed and the store was kept nice and neat. Plenty of customer service available to get you pointed in the right direction. Social Distance is also in effect especially at the check out line. Located right off of hwy278 its easy to miss but just look for Krystal burger if you pass that you passed Ace ijs.

This place is very friendly. I went up to the door one minute before the store was close. ( which you shouldn’t do) And the employee noticed me walking away because the doors were locked. He unlocked the door and ask what I needed. He found me the exact size bolt within 1 min and I was out of there in a few mins.Thank you Max

Didnt feel very welcomed. I walked in with an air filter in my hands, so they knew why I was there. I asked a group of staff members standing at the paint section and they just pointed. Neat and clean, parking available close to the door.

I recently purchased a Toro Timecutter Zero Turn mower from my Local Mayfield Ace Hardware. I cannot day enough about the service I received. All my questions were answered, I was never rushed into just buying the most expensive zero turn mower in the store. After the last few months of quarantine I plan to do as much shopping for my hardware needs at Mayfield Ace. It’s a local business supporting our community.

Went in a couple of days before our first freeze. I was looking for the insulators to fit outside spigot. No one offered any help even though some employees watched me walk around and around store. Finally, I asked an older gentleman that works there. He said they are up front if we have any. We had plenty the other day but people that wait until the last minute...you know people like you, rush in and grab them. He didnt specify where up front or show me where up front. I was offended by his remark because he doesnt know what is going in my life that caused me a delay. Irrespective of my health issues and my daughters that he knew nothing of, that comment wasnt customer friendly. I told the cashier and she said you should hear what I put up with sometime.???????

Excellent service and knowledge. Staff helped me find everything I needed quickly. Ask if you dont see something because they have speciality items in separate rooms too, like plexiglass.

This place is great. The people are always helpful and friendly. The only reason I didnt give 5 ⭐s is because they had chicks there but the enclosure they had them in was real unsafe for them. Some kids walked up looking at them and knocked the top down (barely touched it) hitting a handful of the tiny chicks. Would like to see that fixed asap
