You closed early and charged me for an extra day. Not cool. We knocked on the door but nobody was there. If your hours are going to be flexible you cant charge people for an extra day when you take liberties.

I do not have the money or time to change my work schedule for this company. I was told nothing was available at 2 locations for a week. A week later I went to the desk and requested my vehicle. I was told it would be available at 11:30am the next day. When I arrived I was told it was at another location. I have appointments I cannot reschedule to go to the other location. I asked to pick it up at 10 am the next day. And I left because I was pretty upset. Then I called to confirm that it would be available at the other location and was told not until 2:30pm the next day I could come get it now but they wouldn’t hold it. I won’t be able to make it so it’s either cancel work or wait another day for the car. I will figure something else out this time. And I will not be using them in the future.

If I could rate them zero I would. Being a life long salesman I have high expectations out of businesses that are suppose to serve customers. This location doesn’t put their customers first. They do not have a good process. They are inefficient and unprofessional, and I simply will never give them my business. Good riddance.

Customer service was great. It was a quick and easy process to get the car and be on my way. Only negative thing: the last few cars I’ve rented have been heavily smoked in. My understanding is that they are non smoking, but that’s far from accurate.

Ed picked me up from a location to take me to the Enterprise in Council Bluffs. He took care in his driving ability and etiquette, which showed the care he took in displaying a good reputation for his company. He was very kind and respectful during the ride between locations and was overall very pleasant - excellent customer service.

I made a reservation and went to pick up the car around 11:30 am. The agent (Rue) she went to the back and came back 5 minutes later to tell me they didn’t have any car for me, and the soonest they can get me one would be at least 4pm. The reason was I made my reservation the same day, and they have people ahead of me. She added they tried to contact me but they didn’t have my contact info. That’s just ridiculous because I have my email and cell number on the reservation details. Also I asked why they made the reservation knowing they didn’t have cars and had people waiting, she said their website doesn’t update. I asked to speak to the branch manager, she sent Austin to me. I don’t know if he’s a manager but I asked him how is it fair that I should wait over 6 hours to get a car and it’s their fault they’re making reservation more than they can handle? He said to me “how is it fair to them that I make my reservation the same day and except them to have a car ready”. I told him I was done talking to him, so he turned around and walked away. I walked away from the lot, called a Lyft and went to the airport and had to make a reservation on the spot, and I was able to pick up a car there.The gentleman that was sitting in the office was telling me that he had been sitting waiting since 8am and he got a car around the time I was leaving which is close to noon.Terrible service, and terrible agents. At least the two I had to deal with.I don’t recommend this branch or this company at all.*updateI emailed the email I was given on this automated response to my review and 2 weeks later I am yet to hear from anyone. The terrible customer service seems to be a trend in this company.

I made a reservation for a mid size sedan a week prior to when I was to drop my car off at the body shop. Enterprise was to pick me up from the shop at 9AM. First problem was they didnt. A man from the body shop dropped me off at Enterprise instead at 9:50. Second problem was at 11:00 Enterprise said they didnt have a mid size sedan, but I was was being upgraded to a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup at no charge. The last problem was my wife and I are in our sixties and had difficulty getting into the truck. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Rented from Nov 2020-March 2021 . Spent over 2,000 a month with them, never had issues . My rental gets stolen . They do recover the vehicle which had been damaged by whomever stole it . Almost 3,000$ I paid in full to enterprise immediately for damage . Now I’m on their DNR list for life 😂 for something I didn’t do and I paid for it in full out of pocket . I can only imagine how many people don’t ever pay them back . Yet I’m on the do not rent list for life ! They told me to go to their competitors and I have . They now get my 2k+ a month 😊

POOR Customer Service. I’m 99% sure by their action they knew the tire was bad And if not, with the COVID the car was still dirty.I/my insurance rented a car while mine was being repaired. The Car I received was pulled in to the shop supposedly to be cleaned for me while I finished up the paperwork. I was late for an appointment so I just jumped in an headed off, After the appointment I opened the passenger door to find trash in the pocket an food on the floor clearly visible ( so Much for being Clean) I blew it off headed home. 15 mile out of town the tire light went on, it was hot maybe it was the heat. Added air to the tire. Not the heat I called roadside assistance after over a hour on hold the rep said it would cost ME $55 to have some one come out. My husband put the donut on so I could make a quick trip to get groceries. He inspected the tire found a nail that he felt had been there a long time which brought us to (believing the quick cleaning was to put air in a the low tire) . So believing we were being jerked around he put the tire back on and planned on giving back what we got.But because of the weather turning bad and a 50 mile trip I call my repair guy and had it fixed. When expressing my feelings at the Enterprise Office no apologies or acts of concern. POOR Customer Service. I’m 99% sure by their action they knew the tire was bad

We rented a van for our family road trip. It was perfect!! It was in great condition and very clean. The staff was so polite and professional. We reserved online but they called a few days before to confirm which was great. Picking up and dropping off the van was quick and easy. Enterprise really made our trip much more enjoyable!!

The Branch Manager, Nolan Lee, over the Omaha Enterprise locations is unprofessional, undependable, and to be honest a very sore spot for Enterprise. I have reached out to him many times about signing up for a business account at Enterprise with no response, His immediate boss by the by the name of Eric told him to have somebody call me about the plan - no call. Aaron the manager at Enterprise CB has reached out to him to contact me - no call. BTW Aaron the Manger at Enterprise CB is fabulous. Always helpful, friendly, and each time I enter the location treats me like gold. I wish his direct boss Mr. Lee delivered one fourth of these traits that Aaron does. I would leave Enterprise if not for Aaron. Mr. Lee - how do you keep your job. Before the end of 2020 will you ever have somebody contact me about signing up for a business plan at Enterprise. It has been 2 months and you have done nothing. Ms. Taylor, CEO of Enterprise, I have tried reaching you for over three weeks with no success - please contact me is you are reading this. I can share not only unprofessional behavior of Mr. Lee, but even worse the manager of your location in Bellevue, NE. His name is Jonathn Pulliam.

We had put in a reservation for an suv. They called us the day before and confirmed. We get there day of and they tell us we can not rent an suv. Something about we needed a credit card to rent it but then also said they didnt have one there. BUT we could rent this like 13 passenger van? No. We wanted an suv because we were going to my brothers wedding in Colorado so wanted 4 wheel drive encase it snowed. So then we had to wait about an hour or longer for a 7 passenger van to get back and cleaned. Putting us about 2 hours behind on when we needed to leave for our trip. Weve used this company many many times to rent vehicles and never have I had this happen. Super disappointed in them. Why let me reserve something and confirm it the day before, and then tell us we cant and then that you dont even have one? 🙄 Well be finding a different company next time we need to rent a vehicle.

I picked up a one way rental here the week of the July 4th. I received a call from Kris the day before confirming all the details and seeing what kind of car I would like. He mentioned that for one ways they try to give out nicer cars. Upon arrival he had a few choices. I was offered some nice upgrades, but I had to turn them down due to having V8’s or too small of a vehicle for my needs. Ultimately I ended up with a car I was dissatisfied with, but that was due to a nationwide shortage of availability due to Covid and my specific needs. Kris went above and beyond for all aspects of customer service and I would highly recommend him and this branch! On a side note, avoid the Omaha airport location. The staff there is incredibly rude and unwilling to help!

We visited Omaha during spring break, and were surprised to find out that most car rental companies nearby (top-tier and airport ones included) were experiencing vehicle shortages. Fortunately, we found this location. We received excellent customer service and were able to book a nice vehicle that met our needs. Most importantly, their estimate was affordable, accurate, and without any hidden fees. Additionally, this car rental location is perfectly located within 4 miles of the hotel where we stayed, which offers a free shuttle anywhere within 5 miles of its location. I strongly recommend renting a car here, as they provide exceptional service that other local car rental companies do not come even close to offering.

We had a fantastic car, the sunroof was the best. The car got great gas mileage, an average of 38.5 mpg. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers in back with plenty of room. Plenty of room for the 2 to sleep comfortably in back and real comfort up front. We had a long trip to North Carolina and the car made the trip even better. The employees at the rental place were great, and I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Enterprise for a wonderful experience.

Great experience. They called ahead to confirm my reservation which enabled me to arrange to have them pick me up at my hotel. They called the morning of the rental to advise their driver was on route to get me. Driver was friendly. Staff were great, car was ready, clean inside and out. JP suggested some sightseeing options as we were going to be in town for a few days. Pleasure to deal with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

How do I convince everyone reading this that this is the only place you should rent a car from! The guy that helped me out was so super sweet! Pickup was seamless! They called me while I was driving to make sure everything was going well. I also received a call the next day and they asked me how the trip was going! The staff was decent but my rental wasn’t available till 2:30pm even though I was initially told it would be about 10:00am. They were notified before hand that a vehicle would be needed for a family of 4 and car seats needing to fit comfortably which the Nissan did not provide. A SUV or truck was never offered, also the add on protection packages are a joke and way overpriced. My rental was paid for through a 3rd party and there total was a little under $100, while my total just using extra protection while using the vehicle was $80. I was charged 3 full days for the protection which I did not have due to me taking the car back on a Saturday about 9:30am. If they would not have picked me up and dropped me back off and zero stars were possible that is the rating they would be given.

I got completely screwed over by Hertz the morning I was supposed to pick up my car so I stopped by Enterprise to see what they could do and they were extremely helpful and super understanding. My car was dirty when i picked up.. even after they washed the outside the inside had stains on the roof. It looks like something spilled on the armrest and on the seats. The check oil light keep going off. With us in a pandemic i expected the car to be clean and sanitized.

Have not even made it to my rental date and am already experiencing problems. Have been visiting family out of state and arranged for a rental close to where I am visiting so that we can finish our family vacation in Orlando. Spent over an hour on hold just to speak to someone to make sure I would not have any issues as an out of state renter and to see what type of verification they would need. After all that time on hold still couldnt get a representative from the location on the phone. After 17yrs of renting through Enterprise exclusively I figured the service would have gotten better. Not even sure I want to use Enterprise for this rental.

They are very helpful and for the most part have the cars ready when you are told. They are friendly. They have good selection of cars. They also keep them clean. They are good with working with insurance companys. They are able to come pick you up with the car and come to you. .

Been using this location for a few years, for work. Always been extreme satisfied. Most recent visit was completely opposite. Rep continuously interrupted me as I was trying to ask questions about my rental. Felt extremely rushed and as though I was an inconvenience. Disappointed as this has always been my “place” for rentals.

The service is actually great once they finally tell you what you need ahead of time. Otherwise you spend a couple hours having to go back home to retrieve items needed to prove who you are.Vehicle was great! Great gas mileage also! I would recommend Enterprise to anyone else needing a vehicle.

I not only use Enterprise for all my rentals, I also purchased a vehicle from them which, thirteen years later, is still running and in good condition. More than reliable, they take the extra steps to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. And there are no surprises on the other end either. If you return the car on time and in the same condition as when you left, they charge you exactly what they said they would. My only complaint is the occasional attempt to up-sell, but they back off quickly if its clear youre not going for it. I cant compare Enterprise to a competitor because I will never use a competitor. I have never had a bad experience.

The lady manager at this Enterprise is highly engaged and very customer service excellence-oriented. She assisted me with my 1st month car rental contract with such ease and attention. Another agent, Mr. Martinez, assisted me with my 2nd month contract renewal and arranged for the replacement car that I needed. Very personal attention to their customers there and every customer that comes in is immediately acknowledged. Overbooked me not one but 2 times.. spoke to 3 different “escalation” agents who were very rude and lied to me. John specifically stated he would forward request for transfer of car- no- he simply transferred my reservation back to Dillon at your council bluffs Iowa location who stated he had Cars on the lot but could not let me rent one because I was not priority. When I spoke to another rep in escalations Terri Marie she basically asked me if I was stupid.. as large as enterprise is you’d think something could be done, such as transfer a car from the airport to accommodate their messup. Nope. Appalled at their lack of customer service. This was the worst experience ever booking a rental. I was actually told that I should have called the location to check for availability AFTER I MADE MY RESERVATION with ENTERPRISE!! I’m not sure what the reservation line is there for if I have to check availability myself.. are you kidding me?!?!

Our truck broke down on the way from California to Michigan in Council Bluffs, Iowa and when we had to rent a car on top of getting out truck repaired at the diesel shop our trip turned into a nightmare. But these guys at enterprise took the time to take care of us. They picked us up and were so gracious about renting the vehicle to us for almost 2 days for the price of one. We were having such a bad time with our truck and having to stay in a town we knew nothing about but the guys at enterprise went above and beyond to help us out with our expenses. I want to Thank they very much for making our 2 day stay in their town a great experience. It makes us feel good that there are still people in the world that care about other people even total strangers. So again a big shout out to the 2 wonderful enterprise guys that did an amazing job in helping us out.

If you need to rent a vehicle please go somewhere else. This location provided the poorest rental car experience I have ever had. First off I rented a vehicle 3/12/18 - 3/21/18 the plates on the vehicle expired Dec 2017. When returning vehicle I told the staff the plates are expired, they did not apologize rather I was told they have the tags in the office. Why then did they not put the tags on the vehicle months ago ? The staff at this location do not listen but rather make frivolous claims of hail damage. The morning when I picked up the vehicle it was cold there was a heavy frost on vehicle and windows. The associate tells me if I see any damage besides the drivers door dent to give him a call. This location does not give you a paper copy of the rental agreement. They have you initial an ipad in the cold weather then they email you a rental agreement summary. The morning I turned in the vehicle it was sunny and warmer the same associate looks very closely at the vehicle stands on the running boards to look closely at the top of the large vehicle. He tells me looks like hail damage on the top. Funny thing is the hood has no damage only on the top. How does that happen ? He says there was hail the week prior to me turning in. I ask what day and time the hail occurred he tells me they do not track the weather. He says they are sending vehicle to “their” body shop to determine if has hail damage. I never hear from the location till getting a letter from their Damage Recovery Unit and the letter does not provide all the details like an estimate of the damages. When I questioned the Damage Recovery unit they are very evasive with responses only they were escalating to a manager to contact me. Three weeks after turning in vehicle I receive a voicemail message they did their research and there was no hail in area during my rental period and they will not pursue payment for damages. Avoid the hassle go rent elsewhere.

I originally signed up for their business plus program. Under this program you have several benefits. One in which, I had reserved 3 rentals for the following morning. When I arrived there was only 1 reservation available/ready. So I went to the airport and picked up my 2 agents that flew in from out of town. I dealt with a guy named Ian at the Council Bluffs location and he was going to call me later with details of the other 2 reservations and compensation. I ended up meeting Ian at Epply airport at 10 pm the following night. I ended up giving him $700.00 cash and was supposed to pick up 2 vehicles the following morning. However, I had to leave town in a hurry that night and long story short, I never seen the other rentals nor my $700.00, not to mention the fact that I received multiple calls from corporate office and 1 other location harassing me to bring my original vehicle back! This company is absolutely fraudulent and the Council Bluffs location is managed by someone named Ian and he is one of the most dishonest people I have ever met. So, I took the rental and took it to a Canadian location!

No complaints here. Excellent service. We called in advance of an up coming trip to reserve a van. However, when we went to pickup the van, it had not been returned yet. They upgraded us to an huge premium SUV and no extra cost. Although it was not what we wanted, it worked out. The SUV was clean and didnt have any issues on our 2000 mile road trip.

Picked up the car in a rush to get on the road. Drove off the lotand started noticing that the windshield was so filthy with a foggy film that we had to wipe the inside of the windshield with napkins in orderto be able to see out. When we initially got into the car, the windowswere down and the car had been airing out which prevented us from noticing that the vehicle stunk due to a previous smoker. We asked and paid for a none smoking car. It was obnoxious.When I pay for the high price of renting a car, I would appreciate the carbeing clean inside and out. Worst location Enterprise has. No leadership, no friendly customer service, just screw you. Make a rental through a third party like Expedia and Enterprise gives you a confirmation number and you believe your all set. Turns out this location doesnt honor their confirmation and youre just out of luck. Go somewhere else. Talk with Corporate and they tell you each location has their own policies. Of course Expedia cant force them. They get the same answer from the Supervisor in Council Bluff. Strongly recommend you look else where. Just look at all the other dissatisfied customers. No more Enterprise for me.

Watch your bill closely. This location tried to change a labor charge and a fee for an additional person of 15.00 per day for my wife. For our business we rent exclusively from Enterprise due to their high standards. This location was embarrassing. They also did not have the standard vehicle available that we reserved. The only option they offered was to pay for an upgrade of full size. After all that we recieved a vehicle that was filthy inside. In the future I will try the airport location.

I love the convenience of renting a car. Ive always used Enterprise for all my travel plans. Great company. My only complaint is I feel all employees should be on the same page. For example, one employee says thisbill is OK then the other one says its not. Not sure what a utility bill determines but over all ide recommend Enterprise to all my family and friends.

I rented a van from Enterprise - Council Bluffs location. I was placed in a rental because I was hit and run. I was in the van for 30+ days. When I went to pick up the van there was one person working and a huge line of customers waiting to be helped. I waited in the line for one hour and was finally helped. The person who was getting me in the van basically threw me in the van. He did no inspection of the van and took my credit card and drivers license. I left in the van and when I got home I was putting car seats in only to discover there was vomit all over the inside of the door, and it was covered in pet hair. When I returned the van the same man who got me into the van was the only person working again, with a line of people waiting to be helped. After walking in the worker told us to turn off the lights and lock the doors, he was no longer helping anyone. I waited for an hour and a half before I was helped. When he went outside to inspect the van he only looked at the outside of the van to check for hail damage (there was a hail storm here not too long ago). He then stated that the van had hail damage and they would have to get my insurance information. He wrote down all of my information on a piece of paper and asked me to sign it. I told him that I would not be signing anything, because the van was parked in our garage the entire time that we had it when it was not in use. He then called me a liar and said that someone must have taken the van out of my garage during the hail storm. I then asked if I could have the paperwork of what I would owe for the van that my insurance didnt cover. He said he did not have the information available because there was an issue with Enterprise and my insurance and they were working out. He then continued to say they would just push the payment through when they were finished because they had my credit card on file.I called Enterprise customer service after I left the Enterprise location and discussed my concerns with an agent. She said I would hear back from the area Manager within 2 business days. I have yet to hear from anyone.I did try to contact the area manager three different times, and left three messages without a return call.I will never be renting from Enterprise at any location. The customer service was awful at the location, and is proving not to be any better at the higher levels of Enterprise.

I appreciate the excellent customer service I get at the Council Bluffs, IA store. They are professional and treat the customers with value. The assistant manager came in saturday, 2/13 so I could be picked up. She was scheduled off. Theyre all about pleasing. They won me from Avis.

I was greeted by a terrific gentleman by the name of Van at the Council Bluffs, Iowa Enterprise location. He smiled the entire time and did a terrific job in getting me going right away. Rented a car for one week. Wasnt sure what car I would get but got a very nice Dodge Charger that got 32 MPG.Easy pick up and drop off. Very satisfied with the people at Enterprise and the car.

They took care of me when the one off of 111th & Dodge didnt have ANY CARS!!!! Quite a few peoples were there and very pissed off. So I told the guy there. Where else can I go get a car. I had to hit the road ASAP. When youre the only driver and person going. You want to get further down the road as possible. I forgot his name but hes the Manager in Council Bluffs. He gave me a slight discount because I was furious. He got me in a very reliable car and I loved it so much!!! Thank you Council Bluffs team!!!!!

Only giving 4 stars because the car was not totally cleaned on outside and still had splattered bugs on windshield and dash was all dirty.However with that being said the Staff were very helpful, friendly, and was an overall great experience.

I rented the car from the Council Bluff, Ia office since we was staying there after getting of the amtrak to travel to Rapid City for a family wedding. I called the next morning at 8am just to be sure they was picking us up at 8:30am. I was told then they was going to need to back us up I said 9 they possibly 10 or later they had know cars on the lot,but I was first on the list. So I waited and waited for a call back. None received by 10 am so I called back some how in that time I moved to 3 or 4 on 99th list how is that possible. Finally we took a taxi over to the office that cost additional 10.00. This was at little after 11They finally got a car for us at 12. We missed the first family get together because we left 3 1/2 later than planned. I have rented from Enterprise several times and will continue too.But this trip was very upsetting. They should have planned better
