My wife and I have become small item regulars at the store in Cottonwood. Working on a camper, having a store like this close by is essential. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful, even when asking for out of the box ideas. Bob, the Parts/Service Manager is a perfect example. Bob is always friendly, knowledgeable, and sincere. The impression I get is that Bob is more interested in helping the customer than making a buck. While traveling in my little RV Roadtrek, I had used my FOB to lock all my doors, but my side door wasnt completely closed. Now, I couldnt open that door. I saw Galpin RV in Cottonwood and stopped in to see if someone there could help. The service people were gone for the day and wouldnt be back til Tuesday. PHENOMENAL SERVICE! I needed my annual inspection done for an RV warranty, and Galpin was able to wedge me into their schedule, even though they were busy. Additionally, I had a hole in my roof from a huge tree branch, and they were able to repair it in a day, whereas another local business had told me they needed to redo the entire roof, which would take 5 days! The entire staff is helpful, friendly, communicative, and excellent. If you are in the Sedona/Cottonwood area, do yourself a favor and take your RV to Galpin.

We get propane, here. Good price and not a hassle.

We’ve been trying to get several parts from Galpin. First, some trim tape for our walls. We called them with the part number (provided from Forest River) and they couldn’t find the part. They’ve been back and forth with Forest River for over a month and we still have no idea if/when we will get that part. Next we ordered a thermister for our fridge. We specifically told them it was the two prong part and they said they ordered it and it would be in on Monday. It didn’t come in, they called and said he’d have it overnighted and we could get it Tuesday. It didn’t come so he said he’d take the part off a fridge they had in stock and we could come get it. It was the wrong part, it was the four prong. We are full time travelers in our RV-it was 112 degrees outside-and we can’t get the correct fridge part. We had ordered the part on Amazon in the mean time and it came. So we returned the WRONG part and never heard back from them again. Ver disappointed in the customer service.

What a fantastic RV service center. I needed my camper de-winterized after a trip from Wisconsin. I called to get an appt. Although they were very busy, they accommodated my needs by squeezing me in so I could continue with my trip. Bob and Brandi were absolutely terrific. Being a newbie camper, they went out of their way to explain everything they did as well as providing me tips and techniques for setting up my camper. Bob made a special effort to make sure I understood everything that was done. They are truly professional and knowledgeable.

We were traveling cross country in our RV and began having trouble with our air compressor. In Colorado and Missouri and Indiana we tried to find a business to service us, but had no luck. It became apparent in Camp Verdi, AZ that our RV would not get us back to PA. We called Galpin Auto and RV Repair in Cottonwood, explained our situation and they told us to bring it in. They were wonderful to work with, pleasant and professional. A shout out to Bob, the service manager, who bent over backwards to make things right. I have been getting my travel trailer maintained and serviced at Galpin for a few years now. The staff is always friendly, pleasant and professional. I recently purchased some deep cycle batteries from them which I stupidly let drain and go dead. Bob the service manager quickly offered to charge them up again. What a nice gesture to relieve my worries about this issue! Glad I checked battery 101 with him and thankful for their assistance.

Had a trailer brake spring break and it dropped the adjuster against the brake drum and was squealing like mad. Pulled the drum off, wired the shoes together and cut the power wire so that brake wouldn’t activate. Contacted Bob Lower at Galpin RV, limped it in and he had a used backing plate complete he just gave to me. If you’re around the Cottonwood, Arizona area with an RV. I highly recommend them. Horrible customer service, rude and disrespectful

Called to inquire about having an Extend a Stay (propane adapter that allows the use of external tanks). The service manager said the had the kit in stock and asked the brand, model and year of my motorhome. He then said, no problem, I asked if they had installed many of these and he said Yes, lots, we do it all the time, it will take about an hour. I mentioned I was on the road and would have to wait so an hour or so would be great. He scheduled a 9am appointment for meUpon arrival, I was told it would be about an hour before someone could get to it. Once they got to my coach, the tech basically said he had never seen a setup like mine and that there was no way the kit would work. The said they would need to order custom parts and would be be a week or more. I left. Called another local RV repair shop who looked at my coach, said No problem send a guy to Ace Hardware for a couple fittings and they made a nice clean install at half the cost Galpin quoted me. I wasted 2 hours of my time at Galpin.RE: Management Response.This is a stock 2017 Winnebago View 24J. No alterations to the propane system in any way. There is nothing non-standard about the coach or the system, it is completely stock and unaltered. Bob asked for and was provided with the model and year before I arrived and assured me they had worked on lots of them.

Came in late on a Sunday evening to top off our trailer H2O. I talked to Eddy who gave us a wealth of information about our trailer. We are novice trailer owners and welcome all information to help us learn. In the event we are in the market for a new one, we will come see Eddy.

We were getting our trailer ready for our first camping trip.We noticed the fresh water drain plug was missing, thereby preventing use of the fresh water tank. After some time expended searching for the part in the trailer, we went to Galpins to get the part and were told to bring the trailer in, and they would order the part and put it on. We advised that we could not bring the trailer in, as we just needed the part and install it. At this time we spoke to another person named Brandy, and she advised she might have a part in the back and would follow us home and install it. She accomplished this with a pleasant attitude and friendliness. What a great person to have working for Galpins. 5 Stars for Brandy. Thank you for your assistance and warm personality.

Great place to refill propane affordably.

I needed a vent cover for my trailer and Bob, the service manager, told me to take a photo of the hinge. When I went back a few days later with the photo a young man sold me what he said would work. A few weeks later (today) I tried to install it and it was wrong. When I went in today to return it and get the correct one I again talked to Bob. He didnt have the correct one. When I asked for my money back he asked if I had my receipt. I didnt, but the box for my vent cover had the exact same handwritten (a Sharpie) stock number on the front of the box which matched the writing on the other one they had in stock, so it MUST have come from them. He said, No receipt, no money back. Ill get in trouble if I do it. When I said, If I dont get my money Im walking out and never returning. Bob said, Goodbye! I hope theyre happy that they just lost a new customer over $21.00. Anybody know of a friendly RV dealer close to Jerome?

Ive been to Galpin in Cottonwood twice recently. Both times I was completely satisfied with the treatment I received, from the service guy to the parts guy to the guy that filled my propane tank! Great place. I reccomend them.

I showed up at a very late hour on a Friday frantic over a broken item in a rented RV. Jaydn, the young man at the service/parts counter helped immediately - was courteous, made suggestions and offered a hand and a few new screws to remove the stripped ones to keep us running! Galpin has the cleanest propane in the Verde Valley area at the best price. All the people I have spoken to have been extremely nice and helpful, either in person or over the phone. Short Review: Go here.We had our 5th wheel in Grand Canyon Village on a night that dropped to 12 degrees. The next morning, I noticed dripping from the basement. Fearing a frozen pipe, I called around at our next stop looking for help. Galpin was the only one that answered right away. They were busy, but worked us in anyway.Within a couple of hours, they had diagnosed the problem and fortunately, we were back on the road the same afternoon. We were very grateful for the help. The price was more than reasonable.Thank you again!

Took travel trailer in for preseason inspection. Quoted $280. Fixed broken water line . Total cost $450. Got to Quartzite and as soon as we turned water on. water line leaked like a sieve. TheFurnace malfunctioned after we had it to Galpin for repair last year. Charged another $70 to tell us furnace was malfunctioning. WE ALREADY KNEW THAT!!This outfit is nothing but a bunch of crooks.

I came to Galpin from Minnesota and was instantly welcomed by a gal named Brandi. I came in looking for a toilet valve and was very surprised when she was able to find it so quickly! We were so happy with the service we received yesterday. We were staying at Dead Horse State Park and had an issue with one of our tires on our fifth wheel (not a brand they sold). We stopped in to have it checked out. The Service Manager, Bob, was very accomodating and the techs looked at our issue and had us moving as quickly as possible. Also, they have inexpensive propane and a dump station which we used while we waited.

Eddie went way overboard in helping us at Galpin as we were run off the road with our travel trailer (totaled)! He is one person you can count on when the need for support is there. They have a FREE dump station. Also, they told me the water socket there is city water, but since its so close to the dump station they have to mark it as non-potable. They also fill propane.

Great place to do business. Worked hard for me with extended warantee issues on my slide. Their main mechanic has 30 years experience and was second to none on the repair. Bob the service writer was tireless on working with insurance. It is refreshing to have a great staff that treats you like you are the only job they have. I will save all my repairs for them.

We scheduled an appointment for early Thursday morning. Our RV had some intermittent problems with the front lights. The service writers and parts manager were very professional and friendly. The service technician was professional and attentive. Since my wife does most of the driving, she explained the issues to the tech, and he went to work.
