Cristina at the fort union and highland store did amazing! She was so sweet and so helpful. I loved how she called me “sweetie”. She also made things very clear so I knew exactly what I was doing and there was no confusion. Thank you for your wonderful customer service. I’ve never seen anyone be that nice. Give this woman a raise! 10/10 would come again just to see Cristina!

Usually, this office is great! But at this visit I had to show my earnings again. I was irritated because I have been borrowing from check city for over 20 years and to be questioned like that and now every 6 months is annoying. I think I need to look into some other alternative.

This is absolutely horrible, wow!! This manager Cristina is the absolute worst, she is so rude and makes it hard to do anything, My husband was in the other day trying to cash a check and the blonde cute girl there was helping him and the manager came over and told her to not even try to verify it because she didntt want to cash for that amount, the blonde wanted to call the bank and the maker and the manager denied! We then went down the street across from the smiths on Fort Union and that manager helped right away (Holly) I think her name was. This manager is no good at customer service and just in general I would hate to work there for her. I hope her manager sees this, this is a serious complaint.I would love to know the owners to call and complain never felt so disrespected in my life by someone.

Employees are great and its so easy to get cash quick for emergencies!

I did not enjoy being lied to by the employee (Christina). For years Ive been doing western union and today wanted to send to my father, my brother and my brother-in-law for Christmas. It was a total of $80. She told me western union said you could only send once a day and that Id have to send on separate days which is a LIE. I worked at check city for 5 years and have never done anything like that to a customer. Thank you for wasting my time! I do not recommend ever doing business at this location, I cant believe I was thinking of coming here regularly. Ask me the questions to make sure its legitimate but lie to me? Really?

I walked in with $170 worth of precious metals and was offered $70, thats insane. I understand that your business has operating costs and youre trying to make a profit, but thats an incredibly steep cut. Everything these guys do is crooked and shady.

Wish I could rate zero! This check city is terrible. Had western union money sent to me and they wouldnt give it to me because the sender hadnt written my middle name and my ID says middle name. They said it was a new company policy active starting today. Then said we had to have the sender call western union and add the middle name or return to the store it was sent from and have the middle name added. We had proper ID, test answer, proper address, and phone numbers. Anyway to make a long story short I called several other check citys who have never heard of such a policy and went to another that gladly and promptly gave me my money. The girls have terrible customer service skills and act like it isnt their job to get you your money.
