The worst of the worst, increase rates with no prior notification they charge 90 bucks for 3 MB download speed. You are better off with dial up or worst case scenario use tethering and stay away from these scammers.

Im on day 5 with no broadband internet thanks to Megapath/Fusion. Im operating 2 business, all using cloud-based applications, all using VOIP, all hung out to dry. Fusion dodges and weaves, wont call back, leaves me on hold for 30 minutes, escalates to no avail, and still my internet is down for 5 days. They are reselling internet on a leased FIOS line and they dont even seem to know who owns the line and who is supposed to fix it. Now nobody is taking responsibility for it. I told them I would just buy direct from Frontier: they threatened early termination fees. Its mean to say these guys are the worst of the telecommunications companies, but its fair to say they epitomize the rotten customer service Ive come to expect from that industry.

For me after 6 months of not getting the speeds promised, always told I needed the bigger package, I switched to a new computer and when it did not hook up to the network I called for help. Was told I would have to pay a couple hundred dollars to have someone come out. Was at my wits end with them when I had complications to a liver transplant and was out for a couple months. In that time someone stepped in for me and ended up canceling the contract and getting another provider. When I returned to business I received a bill from Megapath for $3800. 00 and change because they said I canceled my contract and they are charging me for early termination. I tried to explain the situation and see if there was anything they could do and was told no. I was told that it would go to collections at the end of the month if not paid. I asked if I could make payments and again was told no and if not paid by end of month it would go to collections. I tried to see if they could help me help them pay them and the customer service rep said that now that I was no longer a customer of theres why should he do anything. At that point I could tell that Megapath was not a company I would ever want to do business with again and thanked them for there time and left the conversation. I went a head and paid the almost four thousand dollars on my credit card, and shipped back the equipment they asked for, so I could put this difficult situation behind me. This is not a joke a couple days later I get an email saying I owe them a little over $800 for the equipment. I know that you can as a company do what you did, but why???

Worst thing Ive ever done. Went through an IT company that recommended Megapath services to us. Weve had Megapath for only 4 days and already regret my decision 100%.Our lines have constantly gone down. We have been able to receive calls but not dial out. We have not been able to make any calls at all. Our voicemail has locked us out and lost all our messages.Weve missed numerous calls and new patients because of it. This was our opening week when we should have been ready to get and Megapath has truly made a HUGE mess of it all. On top of that they have no idea why there is an issue. Everytime we try and correct an issue we get a response saying it will take 2-4 days to correct. My advice to those looking for VOIP services. Do NOT use Megapath.

I do not just dislike them. I hate them. They will waste not minutes and hours, but DAYS of your time. They will lie you into a contract, then lie and tell you its your fault when it doesnt work. At first I was willing to just chalk it up to their bungling. Now I realize they are evil.I was so proud of myself a few years ago when I switched from AT&T to Megapath and brought my invoices down from $700 to $450 per month. Their installation seemed to go well at first, but a couple of months after installation our outgoing internet stopped working. I discovered the reason was that, even though they had installed all their equipment, I had still been hooked up to AT&T for sending. I know this doesnt seem to make sense, but it was when AT&T finally got wise and shut us off that our sending stopped working. That was our first experience with getting Megapath to admit something was their problem.Phone and internet companies control many of the strings to business success. So, how do they expect their customers to do well when all the onus of chasing down a problem is put on the customer, so that the customer cannot pay attention to business and instead has to sit on hold or running test after test (all the same tests over and over again) just so that Megapath can avoid responsibility. It logically follows that either their customer will have to end service or go out of business because we cant receive emails and phone calls. I do not know how it profits Megapath to treat customers this way, in the long run.Things with the T1 line were fairly good for a couple of years (after they finally fixed the initial AT&T service mix-up), except the service was slower than advertised. Then the bill went up $200 a month. This was due to new taxes, so maybe I cant blame them for this, but still it seems like they should have done something to compensate or compromise to insulate the shock. Sticking on a new tax we werent warned about and expecting us to just keep paying seems looney-tunes.When we fell behind in paying this year, they had an internal collector call us. When we received that call, we had just been in a bad car accident. We were dealing with police and insurance and getting all three of the injured to a doctor. The collector was such a vile human that he gave us two hours to see a doctor and then to call back and make a payment. I understand his job is to collect, and our problems are not his problems. However, what kind of a person does it take to give people in a physical crisis two hours instead of, say, 24?In the last month our service failed completely. No phone and no internet. This failure had nothing to do with the payment issue. We would call and every time they would try to make us run the same internal test. They obfuscated and delayed sending someone out with a new device, or to even move the problem up the ladder. In an entire month, we were on the phone (mobile phone) almost every day for over an hour. Finally they told us they had people in the field working side by side with AT&T (those guys again?) and, when they finally told us everything was working, it wasnt. I ended service with them and am not only going to refuse to pay my last two months of service, I am sending them an invoice for all the hours we spent on the phone listening to red herrings.
