Absolutely amazing dude and an epic haircut. Just found my new barber

Upstairs, spacious digs replete with comfortable, antique barber chairs. The huge, exterior deck lets the outside in. Called the owner re a problematic beard. He said he had no barbers in but hed squeeze me in between appointments. It took him 10 minutes to fade in the edges and give the unruly bush a strong shape. At the end he said: I didnt do much, give me $5. Made my day. Highly recommended.

Long is the man. Super chill, incredibly talented and stimulating conversation. Can’t ask more from a person, let alone a barber. Stop reading, go book.

A great spot! A real barbers experience. Vintage chairs, clean space and experienced barbers that make you feel welcome at home. Local artist on the wall, they really take the time to cut your hair and are precise with a razor. Not much more you could ask for from your barber!

I’ve worked with both Long and Jack and each time they were exquisite. Professional, experts at what they do, and open minded.I’m very bad when it comes to describing what haircut I want, but they’ve always helped guide me to what I’m looking for without judgement and it always turns out great. THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! Came alll the way from Lake Tahoe to LA for vacation and I have never in my life experienced such a great barber shop. This is THE PLACE! They even recommended a great Italian restaurant Capone’s, and there recommendation was a 5 star restaurant that was affordable! Such a great experience!!!

Long (barber shop owner) is so knowledgeable about hair. In my life Ive never met someone so passionate about hair. Long started this place 6 years ago (that could be wrong) with nothing but just enough money to start his dream. He did it and had barley enough to get through the next few months. He is now on his 6th year and business is doing great. Long has taught me things about hair that you would never have knew existed. Apparently its possible to fix a patchy facial hair, or that you can actually control the way your hair grows! Anyways go support this barber shop, staff is great super welcoming. Free beverages and quality products! I drive from la County to Newport, so should you!-but for real go support these guys

Jack gave me the best haircut and beard trim I have ever gotten and did so in a pretty short amount of time. As someone that tends to get anxious around haircuts the atmosphere is very chill and non-imposing. They also have a very nice and personable dog there that seems to like meeting new people.

Always a quick and pleasant experience there. On busy days Id suggest an appointment but Ive done walk-in with no issue as well. Best place to get a haircut in Costa Mesa.

Long is a great barber. Ive been going to him for about 5 months now and Im always impressed at what he can do.He has reasonable prices and offers the full range of barber services youd expect. He also is super easy to pay in a variety of ways, which is convenient.If you have a style in mind he can help you achieve it for sure. Otherwise hes also good at working with you to figure it out, though youll need at least a vague idea of the direction you want to go.Hes helped me learn how to style my hair better and I always have a great conversation with him. Definitely check this place out! I looked all over OC for a legit barber and Im glad I finally found Long.

Usually I get a 7 dollar cut in Little Saigon, but I come here when I want an actual haircut and be actually taken care of ahead of an event where Ill be in pictures. Long is a great Barber and gives you tips to maintain your cut based on your daily routine.

Great cut at a good price. I really liked how easy it was to set up an appointment online. Long gave me a fantastic cut and was really good about giving me exactly what I wanted even though I want great are describing it. Highly recommended.

I love going to barber shops because they are fast and good at what they do. But I hate waiting long, so I usually call to see how busy they are. I called the barber shop twice during the afternoon and no answer or voice mail. Bad sign in my eyes, which is a lack of staff or consideration for potential new clients, or returning old clients if there is any..

Best cut in Costa Mesa. Joel is great - very nice, collaborative when I need advice. They have drinks when you wait and a relaxing outdoor area.

I have been coming here for almost 8 months growing my hair out and using the same barber Jack. I specifically said leave my hair alone on top but then he cuts it anyways. Not only did he not listen but he’s been cutting my hair the entire time, which to me means he didn’t care what the customer wanted. Oh ya and no apology either.

Ive always had bad experiences with what people called the best barbers around. Ive had so many bad experiences that Ive had to grow out my hair many times in order for it to be evenly cut again, but it was never cut right. I put off getting a haircut for almost 8 months, and I was worried about going to a new barber in a new city. I received the best haircut in my life. Literally. Long was very professional and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it even though I couldnt exactly explain how I wanted it cut, it was like he read my mind. I look forward to getting a haircut with him in the future. Words cannot describe my experience to its fullest, but numbers can 100/10
