Bobby is a gem of human! He goes above and beyond. With the current state of the the world, he was able to get a hitch in for my car in 4 days when most others said the part was back ordered for weeks. Then he offered to install it the night the part came in to make sure we would have our bikes with us on our trip. It looks super clean, he did a great job! Thank you so much Bobby!

There are 3 local places that could install a hitch on my Honda Passport. U haul has mediocre reviews, so that left Taylors and Rock N Road. Rock N Road has installed hitches on previous vehicles Ive owned, so I contacted them first. It was two weeks to get the hitch and then another week or so for installation and I had to pay for the hitch in advance. I also thought the price for the hitch and the install seemed high. I then called Taylors and spoke with Bobby. Not only was he one of the most up front people Ive ever dealt with, he was able to order the hitch for the next day and install it then as well for substantially less than the quote from Rock N Road. I offered to pay for the hitch in advance and his response was Are you as honest as me which I though was a great response. I assured him I was and he ordered the hitch without any upfront payment and I brought the vehicle over at the agreed upon time. He and one of the guys working there took care of me right away - no wait - and did the job quickly. He also helped me install the hanging bike rack I had purchased and was having a hard time with.In short, Bobby did a great job, on time at a very fair price and was really easy to work with. I highly recommend

They had same day service and it only took less than an hour. The e trailer. Com did not send all hardware needed for installation of the hitch i bought from them online. They had the hardware needed and had no problem installing a hitch I did not purchase from them. They needed to tweak metal on my bumper ( from previous damage to van) to get it to fit properly. They were super nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using them for future needs on my ram van conversion. Welding , hitch wiring etc.

Bobby at Taylor’s Hitch is THE BEST! He helped us install an hitch and assemble and mount two car racks all in one afternoon. When we went to pick up the car he even taught us how to use the back rack as well as adjusted the front rack right then and there. He is the real deal car guru you’re looking for and I’m so thankful we found him. Friendly, direct, helpful, succinct, and prompt. What more could you want?! Thank you Bobby! Bought a hitch receiver online with every intent to install it myself. Install was complicated and while I am sure I couldve done it with several hours and lots of cussing, I was dreading it and kept procrastinating. Called Taylors finally and discussed. The price wasnt cheap but it wasnt outrageous either. It was a price I was willing to pay for somebody who clearly knew what he was doing and had done the same install on my model car many times before. He got me in the next day and knocked it out in a few hours. Install looks clean and solid. Happy customer here. This is a guy who trades on his name and reputation as a good business owner and craftsman. Contrast that with a not-to-be named big box company who does hitch installs at a similar price point and couldnt care less if you are happy or not. Easy choice that I would make again: Taylors.

I bought my hitch receiver from Amazon and called places in Costa Mesa for an install. Most need scheduling and they give a BIG DEAL if you bring your own hitch. Bobby was super nice! I called asked for a quote and stop by after an hour. Waited and watched him install the receiver and it was done professionally. I was gonna install it myself and good thing I decided not coz without help and lifter it will be very hard for my car. I highly recommend this place! Local business owner not a huge company! We tried and failed at installing our own hitch. After many frustrations we decided to call around. They were prompt and gave me the quote over the phone. Called them back and set up an appointment for like 3 hours later. Got my hitch on in less than an hour. Definitely worth it.

100% recommend this place. My fiance and I are moving to tennessee and needed a hitch for a trailer. We had an appointment set up at uhaul for two weeks and had been waiting. The day before we were supposed to get our hitch they called us and said they didnt have it and didnt know when theyd get it. We instantly looked on google for places to get one. Bobby saw us on the side of the road with a flat tire in the middle of the desert. He pulled over and gave us a tire. (Complete strangers to him!) He just helped us and didnt want any money in return! Everyone is always on the hunt for honest people to work on their vehicles. This place is AWESOME!!! Everyone was really helpful. I needed some help fixing my bike rack that was stuck in my trailer hitch. When I called, Bob was very kind on the phone and said come on in, well take care of you. When I arrived, I explained the situation and Jeff went right to work fixing my problem. Within 3 minutes, he had everything fixed and I was on my way. Their service was extremely friendly, efficient and they knew exactly what they were doing. Thanks for the help guys! Bobby is the man!!!! I ordered a hitch online and it did not have the hardware... go figure... I called around to several places trying to find the parts to bolt this new hitch to my frame. Because they are not the manufacture, nobody could help me... I told Bobby what I was looking for and he knew exactly what I needed. I needed something called a handle nut. He welded one up for me while I was on my way over there. That caught me off guard. You don’t find that a lot anymore. I really like that he is willing to make it work and help me out. In the end I was expecting a price gouge…(sorry, typical of almost everyone else in the greater O.O.) Complete opposite! Excellent upholstery job! They are the nicest people, my seats were done so quickly I was shocked. Everything was perfect, and prices are very fair. It is a family run business so they really care about treating customers well.

I’ve been using them for years for my upholstery and odd welding stuff. Bobby’s a man of many talents, and has handled quite a few of my unusual requests with perfection.I’ll have to say, the shop is old, and a little disorganized. But they’ve been there forever so it’s a little charming for me.I’m really happy they’re doing trailer hitch stuff now that Hitch Crafters has closed down. They are my go to guys.
