Went in to have a simple oil change and was handed an estimate of $1200 for recommended repairs. They also said I should only drive around town. Luckily, I went to Allen’s Tires and the bill was $136.00. Air filters. Allen’s also said it was too soon to have any other work done. Be careful. This was very upsetting.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE $4,500.00 OR $60.00 ??I took my 2004 Toyota Highlander 111,000 miles..in last week to this place, first time there. Asked for a brake check & maybe an oil change. Left the car there. Got a call a few hours later from the manager. He proceeded to tell me I needed a lot of work done ASAP. The brakes needed a lot of work along with control arms, engine mounts, struts, transmission mounts, and a radiator cap.Total needed work to be done$ 4,500.00 +++ !!! ( the radiator cap with tax $ 25.00.. $ 4.00 at a auto supply) Told the manager I needed a second opinion... and do nothing put the car back together.Took the car to the dealership--- asked them to check out all the same items...Results.... $60.00 oil & filter is all they recommended.$4,500.00 OR $60.00 YOU CHOOSEBEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

Wanted to say what a great job these guys do. Top notch customer service. They set an appointment, kept the time and got me in & out no problem! Even when I showed up an hour before closing a week later, they helped me out with my questions, no problem & got me going on the road in under 30 minutes! Highly recommend!!

I went to Big O last week and had them look at my tires. They informed me that the tire size was not available at the store and asked that I go to another store or order it online on their website. I decided to order it online and received a confirmation for an appointment for today at 8am ( a week later). Upon arrival, the gentleman explained that they didnt have the tire in stock again and said he tried to call me multiple times. I showed him my phone records (no call), and the email from Big O confirming the appointment and tire in stock and ordered online ($212 for one tire). He then got frustrated with me and called me horrific names and threatened me. It was the most awful experience My suggestion is to avoid this location at all costs.

Look what these pigs did to my brand new interior... what kind of grease covered monkey wears his dirty work gloves on the inside of a customers car. I will never go to this place again and I will bash this place verywhere in social media.Update--- I was offered to have it cleaned off, but I choose to do it myself.

They are open, which is nice, and were able to check my pressure quickly and with no issue. However, I think covid has changed peoples idea of customer service. As I pulled up and parked in first bay in front of an employee, he got up from his chair walked halfway across garage stared into my car seen me and turned around and sat back down....huh?

I did not have a good experience when came here. John was not helpful and I feel I was taken advantage of. I was sold a warranty that I was not told I would pay extra for. Nor did I agree to purchasing this warranty. I returned the next day to cancel the warranty and get I refund. After I left I saw online that the tires I purchased were buy 3 get 1 free. I was not given this deal and charged for all four tires. So now I need to return once again to get another refund. I also don’t appreciate your practice of having customers digitally sign their invoice before they have even seen it.If you want to make this right and help change my experience you can refund the money I paid for the fourth tire without me having to come back in for the third time.

Funny I see below a comment from someone who had a similar incident as mine. John M does not have good customer service at all. He is knowledgable and would be a great salesman but I did not need as much as he suggested. Very rude as well... how is this the service manager? Not a fair review because the rest of the guys are awesome.

I have been here twice. Once to fix s tire, once to discuss new tires and repair the tire seal against the factory trims. Each time was treated with courtesy, respect and felt like l was a valuable customer, even though l have yet to buy a set. Both the desk people and shop guys were great. Work was quick and fairly priced. Only caveat: do not have the burger (worst ever) nextdoor, just opt for a shake and be done with it if you must. Bottom line on this Big O..: This business knows how to treat a customer. Thank you.

Ive been going to these guys for a couple of years now and I can honestly say theyve earned my business. I tried them out for the first time in 2017 when I had a 6 month-old tire literally shred apart on the freeway; when I took the tire to the shop whod originally replaced it, they claimed that they didnt carry that brand (they had the exact brand on the wall behind me in their showroom) so I figured Id give this establishment a try. Over two years, 6 tires, an alignment, and two vehicles later, I can report nothing but good experiences. They may not be the cheapest out there (theyre also certainly not the most expensive), but theyre straightforward and HONEST; Ive been jabbed enough by shoddy, dishonest mechanics and tire shops that Im willing to pay an extra $5 or $10 an hour to know that Im not going to be ripped off. Added bonus: they get things done in a timely manner.

I will never recommend or utilize the services of Big O ever again. Tried to make a reservation on the phone, was put on hold and finally hung up after about 10 minutes. Three of the four Big O brand tires I purchased were defective. Never offered any compensation but rather told there was no defect and that the tires were damaged by normal road hazard pinching??!!! A completely b.s. reason, clearly made so that Big O did not have to honor any warranties.

The guy that runs the O tire store in Costa Mesa, Steve, is outstanding. He always makes me feel like my business matters and delivers excellent service.

I called ahead and talked to David. He was very courteous and quoted me a price for a wheel alignment. He also said it would take under an hour so I made an appointment. When I arrived, everything matched what he told me over the phone. He did offer additional options, but there was no pressure. I was out under an hour, as promised. The alignment seemed fine.Also, free WiFi so you can work while you wait. TV and coffee as well.

I had a wheel bearingsl go out in my Subaru, and a nail in my tire. I pulled in to the Big O on 17th st, these guys went right to work! im very very thankful and highly recommend Big O in Newport. They got me back on the road in no time at all!

Was on my way to Newport and discovered my front tires were worn badly because of an alignment issue. He found the tires I needed and had them ready when I arrived in town for a fishing trip. Had them installed quickly and fixed the alignment. Really got me out of a jam. Thank you.

Went to Big O in coata mesa to have them put a spare on one of my tires that had a razor blade in. Shouldve been a quick painless thing. Steve lied to my face saying that the lug nuts wouldnt fit my spare tire and recommended that I go buy new ones when they would fit just fine. He didnt care about anything other then selling me a new tire and when I didnt, he didnt care about helping me at all. Dont recommend this place at all. Go to ALLEN TIRE COMPANY just down the road! They placed my spare in 10 min and didnt charge.

This place does not fulfill its promises when it comes to how swift they can actually do the work. I made an appointment for 11, came in early to get any paperwork out of the way, and it took 2 hours to do an oil change and an alignment. What upsets me is how the tech was saying over and over, were gonna get you started, but never mentioned how busy they really were, nor did they ever update me on the remaining time. Service was modest; nothing exceptional about the 2 hours and $160 I sacrificed. If i had known they were that busy, I wouldve made an appointment somewhere else.

This location cares about people. Very kind, professional, warm, and smiling! David is an Asset to Big O !!! ill definitely be back to this location from now on.

I brought my EOS for a nail in the tire early this morning. Chris told me the tire could not be repaired (simple patch fix) and then he tried to sell me a new $200 tire. He even tried to sell me a different tire which did not match my set. It is very disappointing the fact that they tried to take advantage of me. Moreover my husband got the original Michelin set from them.I took my car to Mexicali Tire on 19th street, and ten minutes and $15 later the nail was out and the tire patched.
