The Verizon in Cortland has one of the best stores the people are so nice and especially Joe

Every time you walk in it is 7 hour process. The staff are rude 😒 I was told they could help me then when we started to decide what to do they said I need to go on break so call customer service or wait for someone else to help you. So thank you to the ginger with horrible customer service this is why I hate Verizon. I even had a appointment set up.

This location is actually Victra, apparently a subsidiary of Verizon. The staff with whom I have worked have been most helpful-within the limits imposed by Verizon. Some staff are more helpful than others in that they explain what they are doing so that it would be possible for the customer to fix the issue should it occur again.This staff is INFINITELY more helpful--again, within the limits imposed by Verizon, than the multiple agents with whom I have interacted over the past several months.

For some strange reason, I was skeptical to go to an authorized retailer because I thought it wasnt an official Verizon store. But both times my wife and I have visited, the staff has surpassed our expectations. They did not charge extra to put on our screen protectors and they seem very honest when it comes to product recommendations. Highly recommended for anyone with Verizon near Cortland.

Went in looking to upgrade a phone and pay my phone off and get a new one. They said there is no trade in value even though I talked with Verizon who told me about pay off and trade in value and they set the appointment for me. On top of this they were so pushy on up selling everything they wouldn’t even listen to what we wanted, we ended up leaving and will go to a different store since this wasn’t my first poor experience at this store

I feared going into the store to replace my phone and I was in there for less than 30 minutes. They have really figured out how to swap an old phone and set up the new one. I won’t fear the Verizon store again!

I experienced poor customer service and lack of acknowledgement that I was even waiting in the store I waited for 30+ minutes and watched 2 other unhappy customers come in and leave due to continuous waiting. This is not my first bad experience. If the store is this busy it needs to be staffed properly. To top it off cancelling a line on my plan could not even be done in the store. If I had been acknowledged and asked what I was in for I could have avoided the 30+ minute wait.

I had no issues with any part of the process and Zach, as well as all the rest of the staff I spoke with, was very helpful, friendlyfrie knowledgeable about the phone and transfer process.

After my phone met its demise after an unauthorized dip in the pool I went in to see what my options were. I was concerned about what I may have lost from the content on my phone and about getting a good replacement without having to mortgage my home. Jay was so reassuring and helpful! Just a great guy. And although Jay did attempt to resuscitate - my old cell was definitely dead - and he ensured that every, photo, contact, and app was recovered for transfer to my new phone as well as a very very important and treasured voice mail. He recommended a new Google phone - which cost far less than I was anticipating and the camera is outstanding just like he promised (superior quality!) Thanks Jay for making a miserable situation bearable! Love my new phone!

He spent over an hour with me and my wife switching us over and setting up my new phone. (And explaining the features of the new equipment!) Great day all around.

Had a great experience with Tyler! He was very patient and helpful with helping to advise me on the options with our Verizon phones and plan. Then due to a glitch with porting a number from another carrier, I had to go back later in the evening and Jay was so kind and accommodating! Would definitely go back to this Verizon retailer.

My phone is very important to me, not only because ITS MY PHONE, but Im a sales person and I need to be available to my customers at all times. You can understand that when I used the find my device software at 5:30pm on a Sunday night and it located the phone in the middle of a lake how much that sucked. I got over to the Verizon store in Cortland and Jay stayed late to help me out. If you need a new phone ask for him. Hes competent, efficient, and professional. People like that deserve more business. He provided excellent customer service and is great rep for Verizon. Hint*** Verizon this is a person that you want to retain.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! This place will treat you like gold UNTIL after the sale and then BEWARE!!! They will give you nothing but a runaround. Smooth talkers for sure, but when they are done making the sale the whole attitude changes. Shady practices too like not telling you they are charging you to transfer your data....they act like they are doing you a big favor. Verizon Wireless has been made aware of how this store is ruining their reputation!

I was having issues with my previous carrier after 16 years and even though I wasnt able to reuse my phones, he was able to suggest economical replacements. Zachary at the Cortland , NY store was the very best and he should get some recognition for his patience and expertise. Our experience with Verizon itself was horrible. At least 5 hours of our time was spent at the store and another hour was spent setting up WiFi. I hope our billing isn’t an absolute nightmare and the credits come through as expected. Horrible Service... Needed to pick up a phone ordered through customer service. Three workers and only allowed one person in store at a time!! (Tip for Verizon, dont pay people to come to work if they arent working) My service needed was a quick one minute handoff. I had customers in front of me who let me go ahead of them. The customer service rep still would not wait on me!! Very rude and inconsiderate of their customers needs!! I drove over an hour to be mistreated and spoken to!! Wouldnt even give one star if Google didnt make me!!

We had a marvelous experience getting our upgraded iPhones today. Our associate was extremely patient, knowledgeable and friendly. We would definitely go to this Verizon location again.

Clint and Zach are the BEST tech guys I have ever met!!! We walked in with iPhone questions and issues and they had us straightened out in minutes!!! I have been to other Verizon stores, but these guys are incredible. I live 4 hours away and will go back to them to buy my next phone. So glad we met them!!!

I had a decent experience at the Verizon In Cortland NY. Everything was smooth except for what I needed to pay I wasn’t told I was just asked for my card, obviously I did look at what I was paying but I feel I should have been told what I was paying and why for my upgrade and payoff of my old phone.

I met with Jay today at the Cortland NY Victra store. He was wonderful--really went to bat for me. I had purchased a Black Friday deal in NYC while visiting and the promised $400 rebate on the phone never showed up on my next bill as promised. (They gave me a $200 rebate and also charged me for services I didnt want.) I called Verizon last night and they assured me the $400 rebate was valid and that had fixed the problem only to find that they only fixed some of the issues and not the $200 mistake. Jay took half an hour to straighten things out and the problem was finally solved. Too much time at Verizon through the last few weeks but I finally found someone to solve the problem.

I had a “magical” experience when I went to the Cortland Store..my sales person John W did everything possible to make my experience there a good one..he worked tirelessly all with a smile and a joke or two to help with transitioning into a new phone. Thanks John!

Myself and my wife walked into the verizon store today to get a cell phone case for my iPhone, although they did not have one in the store, Jay went over all of the options for me. I then asked him about phones because my wife wanted a new one(not thinking that I would be eligible for anything) he still helped out and was not judgemental. He told us both in complete detail what would be the best deal for us, he was over the top with customer service! So good, we both walked out with 2 new phones and a hum for the vehicle!
