The sod we ordered was on time . It is beautiful 😍. Even as hot as it has been, its doing amazing. Very satisfied.

Your awesome crew came to our house today and spent like five hours! They trimmed, and mowed, and pruned, and then raked and swept up every leaf and branch. I was really impressed! Theyre also very friendly and professional.You’ve taken amazing care of our property for 15 years. We’re so grateful!

I was warned by multiple locals not to hire them, but I did out of desperation with other landscapers being booked too far out. Wood was able to squeeze me in, which I appreciated, but I greatly regret hiring them. Heres why:The small job was going well until the afternoon before their final work day. They cracked my driveway in three places with their equipment. They didnt bring it to my attention, even though based on my security cam footage it was obvious they knew. The next morning when they were supposed to finish they removed all but one of their vehicles from my property and left. They didnt communicate with me what was going on. I thought he was abandoning the job. We eventually got the damages sorted out through their insurance company.They installed a sprinkler system. I returned late one night from work and noticed the drip system was running. After looking at my security camera it appeared that they tested the sprinklers and the drip system had been running for almost the entirety of my 8 hour shift. The valve box was also 2/3 full of water and I observed a leak from one of the O rings. See picture. When I confronted Edwin about this he said there was no issue and treated me like an idiot for not being an expert like him with his 20 years of experience.A swale was to be installed on the east side of my house where they also trenched to install the irrigation system. They changed the grade on the east side after refilling the trench. When I pointed out it was different and wanted it returned to its original grade, Edwin and his son said it was impossible that they changed it and would charge me extra to get it to the grade I wanted. Luckily I had a picture taken prior to their work to prove they did indeed change the grade. The plan I drew was not 100% to scale, Ill admit. But in addition to the plan we talked in person about how I wanted the swale installed. Installation was not going the way we discussed and I asked him to stop work on the swale and leave the remaining rock in my yard so I could complete it myself. He dumped the remnants of his truck bed- a few rocks, dirt, bark, and trash in my yard. See picture below. He later went back on this agreement and said he was sticking to the contract. The swale was not straight and did not divert water as it was supposed to when we actually got rain. I had to rebuild about 2/3 of the swale to straighten it and make it functional.With the changing of the grade on the east side of my house they installed the valve control box in a low point that collected water and a lot of mud when it rained. When I reached out to them about it, Jennifer told me to just lay down landscape fabric. I raised and re-graded the area around the control box with hand tools. See picture.They quoted me high for the sprinkler system. Jennifer said it was high because they were on the cusp of needing an extra zone. They installed the minimum number of zones, but charged me the high quoted price. They also over-quoted me topsoil and left approximately 4+ yards of expensive soil for me to deal with. I sold some, but still have more to deal with. They didnt spend much time taking measurements. Jennifer told my wife and me that with her 20 years of experience she can pretty much do drive-by estimates.Prior to the damage to my driveway Edwin verbally told me he would spread topsoil in my front yard (not in the contract) because the quotes for soil and the irrigation system were high. He reneged this agreement after damaging my driveway.He also told me that he included winterizing the irrigation system for free the first year, and that subsequent years would be on me. After he winterized the system he over-charged me for the service claiming it wasnt in the contract, which it wasnt, but he previously said it was included.When I confronted him in person about that he called me an A-hole and said something to the effect that I was a terrible customer.Can you blame me for being upset, or am I unreasonable?

The owner was punctual, the pricing was fair and the work was completed in a very timely fashion. In addition to being completely satisfied with the initial job, I asked for two additional estimates. I fully intend to use this company again! 10/10 will use them again!

As a contractor myself, I understand how tough it can be to keep scheduling. Not only did Woods finish our sprinkler system in a reasonable amount of time, adjust and fine tune the settings, but they brought the project in under budget. Incredible folks.They have been maintaining the yard, and have been totally trustworthy.

Our home looks the best it ever has ! We used Woods Designs for our curbing around our house and driveway. The curb appeal it brought to our house is over the top! I really had no clue what I wanted and Edwin had great ideas when he got here! I called Jennifer and they came out quick, the actual curbing was done in hours and looked so good. Thank you Woods Deign and I would Definetly recommend them!

The project may have taken longer than we anticipated, but we were extremely satisfied with the end design. There were little things that had to be addressed, but they were more than willing to satisfy our needs. They took Mikes design and encorporated it into their overall landscape. We would recommend them to other customers their quality performance and their willingness to work with you.

The worst mistake we made was having them do our sprinklers. They quit working 2 weeks after and they placed too close to our house where they are grinding the stucco. I asked multiple times for them to come help and that I would pay and he would not return my phone calls. I HIGHLY recommend Sprinkler Pros. They came the same day and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. Beware!

Woods Landscaping and Design reached an agreement between the two parties, after receiving a $1,500.00 on September 2, 2015 no work was ever completed. We entered mediation on March 11, 2016. It was eventually agreed upon that we would receive a 60% refund of our deposit, or $855.00.*We agreed to edit our review at their lawyers request.

God these employees have dirty mouths. Very unpleasant shopping just now at city market. Mocked the store, and setup...mocked Starbucks. Go else where...quit complaining.

My project was completed in one day! They surpassed my expectations and I would refer them to everyone.
