We were traveling through Cortez and I desperately needed a haircut. Youll need to make an appointment to get a haircut. I chose to text as they requested. Was able to schedule one for the following day. Walked in and was seated in the chair at the appropriate time. Good conversation and a great haircut. Ill definitely use Matthew àgain when we are in town.

The difference between a good haircut and a bad one is three weeks, so I bought a hat! Had to explain to others why it was patchy and uneven. No thanks, not going back again!

Ive been going to Matthew for years now. I travel from Durango to Cortez because its worth the drive. I have very fine hair so it is difficult to get a proper fade. Lately Ive been starting with a 0 and go to a 2 up top. Thats not easy. Matthew never fails to get the job done every time. He is always professional and his attention to detail is impeccable. Is he worth an two hour round trip? With out question. Five stars from Durango.

I made a reservation and visited for the first time. Told Matthew I wanted to make a change showed him the picture of what I wanted. Oh you want a mullet. Matthew did an amazing job. Its literally the nest haircut I have ever had. My wife said the exact same thing when she saw me. Would definitely recommend Matthew. Thanks for the great cut!

Scheduled a appointment for three days in advance and when I came in for my appointment no one was there and when I called he texted me back and told me I have to schedule 5 hours later because he wasn’t prepared

Matthew was responsive to my texts about availability earlier in the day, and then very friendly and attentive later that evening for my appointment! I will definitely be giving my hair more TLC more often now that I have found Matthew!

This Gent is honest and ALWAYS exceeds expectations. Prices are more than fair. I always over-tip just as it seems the right thing to do given the quality of detail and Matts commitment to his clientele. He is a bright spot for Cortez and a nice diversion from the turbulent times we all seem to be experiencing.Matthew receives my highest recommendation!
