Jonathan did a great job! My fiancé and I went in for small tattoos to remember the beach and we were definitely not disappointed. He did exactly what we asked for and made the tattoos perfect. Also a very laid back shop. If I lived here I’d definitely get all my tattoos done here but i 100% suggest it to everyone!! Thank you jonathan for making our experience great!

Friendly staff that was helpful in answering any questions we had about our tattoos. Our artist even allowed us to take pictures and videos of her while she was working. Would recommend.

I went in there this weekend for a walk in appointment waited less than an hour and was taken care of. I really enjoyed my experience, the artist was professional and did a quality job. I was just getting a tattoo I had gotten somewhere else colored it and the artist did it perfectly even adding their own idea to make it better after asking me which loved.

I came in for 2 big pieces and everyone was very nice and welcoming. I will definitely go back for more work and recommend anyone that wants a tattoo to go to Black Point! Amazing people and very professional absolutely great experience 👍🏻

Some Artists look like they do pretty well.but my personal experience wasnt the greatest. My Tattoo artist after 5 sessions at $400 to $200 each I guess got upset when I let him know that I didnt like a part of the tattoo. So he just refused to finish the tattoo recommends another artist not even from his shop.

I’ve gotten all 3 of my tattoos from Black Point and have had amazing experiences each time. Most recently in March I had a tattoo done by Louis and he went above and beyond! It came out great and he really took his time making it look perfect! I can’t wait to come back and get more. The staff is always so nice and helpful and the place is super clean. Great place for someone looking for great work.

Its a good place that Ive got two tattoos at. Louis will color your piece as he sees fit so make sure you know what exactly is going on before you lay back and cant see etc. Idk about the other guys in there but the work isnt bad at all.

This was my first professional tattoo and Israel was my tattoo artist and i couldnt have asked for a better experience or tattoo. They did everything i wanted and drew up the tattoo i wanted several times so i could be sure its what i wanted. If youre deciding where to go for a tattoo id choose here. They work with you on the price and give you what you ask for not what they want.

Joseph Bowen, at Black Point Tattoo, is an excellent tattoo artist. I initially met him after having issues getting custom tattoo work done in Austin. I traveled to Corpus Christi to meet with Joseph and it was well worth the trip. He is professional, creative, and puts your vision into a great tattoo. This was my third tattoo, but my first experience with Black Point. My best friend and I went there on the advice of another woman whod had work done there. We are from out of town. We wanted a tattoo to commemorate our anniversary. We picked this place because of all the positive reviews. After visiting the ship and getting to know Brian, we can see why it his shop has a 5 star raiting. They are friendly, professional, and meticulous. Our tattoos were pretty plain and simple but he still took the time to ensure it was perfect and that we were completely happy with it. If you live around Corpus Christi or even if your visiting, this is the only tattoo shop you need to visit.

Hands down - one of the best!! Not just in the Corpus Christi area.. but in the US! Joseph at Black Point has done ink work on myself, my Mom and my Dad! All of which are incredibly done. He worked with each of us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted from placement and design to extensive detail, shading and overall experience! On a side note.. Joseph also makes the most impressive and one-of-a-kind knives and hatchets. I find it hard to believe you could find better quality anywhere else near or far!

Davis is a great artist. I strongly recommend him as your next tattoo artist. He has passion that no other artist can match. Joseph is amazing!!! I went in as a walk in trying to get a name covered up after I had already put a deposit with another shop and had appointments changed and canceled for over a month already. Stopped by to inquire about a walk-in tattoo. The receptionist ignored me and never greeted us in any way. One of the artists that was in the middle of tattooing a client had to stop what he was doing and come over to greet us. The place is very small and the tattoo artists do not have individual divided work areas. Rather, there were several people crammed into a single room all getting tattooed together. This seemed odd and after discussing the tattoo I wanted with the artist (a simple small script name ) I was given a ridiculously over priced quote ($200!) to which I promptly declined and left immediately. I have over 20 tattoos so this wasnt my first rodeo. They were just very unprofessional.

I get all my work done here!!! Artists are SUPER friendly, the only ink i put on my body needs to be professional and done in a timely manner, and this is the only shop in Corpus Christi i can go to that gives me EVERYTHING that i want. Not to mention, they are actually EXPERIENCED artists that will work WITH you to get you the best price.Thanks Black Point Tattoo!!

I got a tattoo of piano keys on my forearm and couldnt be happier!! The artist Louis was really nice and real smooth with the needle! only felt like scratching a sunburn! Lines are really clean and sharp! Definitely go to this place!
