Horrible service. Ive only had them for 11 months and my bill has gone up twice. Was told by a rude customer service lady that thats what companies do in January.... um no not when you are told a price and the salesman tells you it will stay the price for 11 months. Also the internet goes out frequently and a lot of times channels wont work. Its annoying to pay $200 for this kind of service.

I had Grande for a year of service. The woman who connected my service was great help. The customer service advocates helping me discconect service were extremely professional, and helpful. Internet speeds are amazing price for the speed. Definitely prefer them over Spectrum. Very easy to access customer service over the phone or online. Very easy to get same day service. Service reps come to you. No long waiting lines.

They have the most terrible service in the whole country. Here are the reasons: 1. If you work remotely than run away from Grande because the you you need the internet the most, your internet will be lagging. Let say if you would miss a meeting because of the internet problem and you will need a prove so you can show your supervisor, they won’t provide and they will barely accept that the problem was on their end. 2. No matter what type of modem they will provide, it is still going to work very well. 3. I pay around 50$ per a month, but truly the service they priced doesn’t even worth 10$ a month. If you mainly work remotely, the amount of stress you’ll have, with Grande, it completely doesn’t worth. Thanks for reading.

My name is Azel Amilhamja, I am the account holder here in Corpus Christi. I canceled my service with this internet provider for cancelling my service/repair appointment today without my authorization. I was 15 minutes before 6 PM ( my appointment is 6-7) and came home early from work in order not to miss the service tech. But after waiting an hour and 10 minutes I decided to call and found out my appointment is canceled. That’s not customer service. The TECH and the SUPERVISOR should go an extra mile to check with every customer before cancelling their appointment with out aunthorization from paying customer.

This cable company is not honest so buyers beware!!!! They tell you a price amount that your cable will be, and once you get your actual bill its not close to the amount that was 1st given. And when I called all they can say is ...I. Sorry but thats the amount. Its sad that this company has to lie and manipulate people to become customers.... Very disappointing!!! Still on the lookout for a good, honest cable company

Ive had Grande Communications for a year. It has been ok but lately it seems that the wifi has been going out more frequently. I was forced to go with Grande because my apartment complex has a contract with them. It is the only wifi company allowed. We are moving out and moving into a home and inquired about other internet companies. AT&T offered $55 for 1000mps fiber optic internet. With Grande we have been paying $55 for 200mps internet! Thats crazy. I am definitely switching after inquiring about alternative companies.

Internet is always going down. If you work from home or need internet for any situatuon I would not recommend this. I wish there were other options at our apartment complex but unfortunately Grande has weasled their way into getting contracts with most Corpus apartments. If you guys cant handle a large amount of users then why bother monopolizing most of the southside? I can guarantee once we have our own house or rent a home we will most definitely never consider this company again. I have never had such spotty, unreliable internet before. We even signed up for the highest speeds to make sure we had no issues, but the speeds are nothing but lies. Even when I have a device connected via ethernet I still do not get the speeds I pay for, and am constantly getting disconnected. Do yourself a favor and avoid grande and any of its affiliates, its not worth the headaches and lost wages that we are now dealing with due to not being able to work because our internet is down AGAIN.

After some not so nice experience with the big name providers I began asking Where are you? The Grande response was,Im in Bastrop, but I can connect you with someone in Corpus Christi if you prefer! Most problems are dealt with on the phone, never have I waited 24 hours for service.

Grande has the worst internet I have the 600 speed and still managed to lag. I tried restarting my router and it still doesnt work. I test my connection and get a 74% packet loss which is unplayable for online gaming.

Today I went in to exchange my DVR box for a new one and to upgrade my internet access. Olivia was a new customer service representative and is in training. She did awesome. Jordan was helping her and I admire how well he did. They were both really professional and very attentive. Way to go

Horrible quality of internet...called tech support and they couldnt fix issue, si they sent a tech out and Im dealing with the same issue a month later...checked my bill and the charged be double...asked why and they said bc a Technician had to come to the house...I would NOT recomend this service...they overcharge for the product you get and you will never get issues resolved...they will just keep charging you for service visits

Had the pleasure of speaking to a snarky CSR Rep trying to open a new account. They get started on their required canned speeches and can’t stop talking instead of listening to the customers. It’s all about upselling the customer what thru don’t need to increase their sales and commissions. Bite set up a date and time for appointment and when we ended the call and after I hung up the betch cancelled my appointment without my knowledge.

We pay almost $100/month for the highest speed internet. Speeds are not accurate, and now my internet is not working at all. We never had these issues with Spectrum but unfortunately had to switch to Grande after moving. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. If you are moving to a new area and Grande is the only option given in that area, I wouod recommend looking elsewhere.

I called to ask why my bill had gone up 20$ and the customer service agent told me they had notified me via email and via billing statement. I went back and read all of my emails and billing statement, and no where did it say they were increasing my rate. When I asked was there anyway I could get my bill lowered in anyway he said there was not. I looked directly on their website after the phone call and sure enough my same package is still be offered for the same price I had previously been paying. Sad to see that a company has to lie and manipulate people into paying more than should be. I do not recommend this company at all after this absurd experience.Edit: Shout out to the supervisor Josh for being completely understanding about the situation. I removed the 1 star and switched to 5 stars as he was very professional and was able to readjust my account. I will continue being a loyal customer!!!

The quality itselft is not worth the 79$ package that I paid . Wifi always lagged ,disconnected and reconnected automatically. Bad quality. Not smooth . Expensive. Online service is the worst. Chatting with one of the staffs who ignored my complaint and failed to make appoinment for me and it turned out the appoinment had not been made which made me spent a whole day at home to wait. Very very disappointed with this brand. If i had a choice , I would never choose this.

This internet company came to set-up service for our neighbor. In doing so, they cut our internet cables and now we are without internet. As a health professional who has been designated as providing an essential service via telehealth during this pandemic, this is absolutely unacceptable. No one answers when you call and you are unable to leave a message. I wouldn’t trust these people to manage my internet service due to their careless nature.

Took forever for my wife to get through over the phone. No one ever answered so we had to use the automated system for our disconnect. We were told it would be 5 days before the disconnect and be charged during that time frame unless we brought the equipment in to their location. Upon arrival to the Saratoga office I turned in the equipment and was told I had a $16.75 bill due even though the bill was paid, we were going to be charged $1.75 for the day. The $15.00 was a late fee. They were kind enough to waive the $1.75. After using their service for three years we are late a few days and have to pay a late fee.....I paid the fee since it is my responsibility to be on time and walked out. Glad to be done with that very painful process. Hoping my next provider will be better.

Paying for 600 MBPS and getting 7MBPS****Update**** after several techs came out over the last 2 months it was discovered that there was a problem on our node and they fixed it and also detected a problem with some inside cable. Now resolved and I am satisfied with the speed.

My roommate and I have had problems with them since day one. The first full month we moved into our house the internet was unusable. We were having packed loss everyday and I was calling everyday to see whats going on. Ive called so many times for our bad internet service. We work hard and want to come home to relax and we cant be internet is all we have. The last straw was they raised our prices during the pandemic, I was so mad. Its sad because they use to be good now they are the worst. After two years its time to switch.

Internet service is fine, it works most of the time. But beware of bill increases you wont be told about ahead of time.When I upgraded speeds last year, the tech switched out my previous, free modem with another one, and didnt tell me it would add on a monthly charge. I wasnt given a choice to swap modems, and wasnt told of the bill increase that would come with it. I called customer service after and they told me theyd take it off the bill. Which they did, for awhile. But they didnt say the free modem would only last 6 months. Now the 6 months are up, and theyre charging me for the modem again. I called again, and because I already had 6 months of the free modem, theres nothing they can do about the price increase. No promotions, no loyalty credits or discounts. So now my bill is 25% higher, and my only option is to switch ISPs entirely.

A customer for 4 years no complaints. Any questions with billing or channel switching was always easy and simple. My bill did fluctuate at one point but I was able to call and change a device for a new customer discount and my bill went down a good 30 bucks I’ve always been happy with the internet and cable service here.

The employee at front desk was very awesome and helpful, but ran into some difficulties with the tech. Had an internet installation appointment scheduled between 5pm-7pm. The tech gets there at 4:30pm before my time frame and asked me to reschedule because I wasn’t there at the time he was for the installation. I had moved some stuff around to be there within the scheduled hours but since it was his last job for the day. He didn’t want to stay for the installation. Canceled my new service with Grande all together.

My internet connection goes in and out daily. And has been for at least 5 months now. When I call for help, I get hung up on or tech support resets it on their end but this doesn’t fix the problem. Twice someone was supposed to come out and fix it, and both times no one shows up. I’m angry with the company because I am paying for a service I cannot use regularly. And I am in school! Internet is kind of necessary for my school work. I’m so irritated with the company.

Has anyone noticed that almost all the people that are described as a Local Guide, have 5 star positive reviews? Thats because they are paid to review these companies with a fake positive review. This company is horrible. Prices kept going up. And Service constantly interrupted. We never got bill credit. Sometimes a day or two without internet. Their solution is always changing out the modem. And when they are at your house, the speed tests are great, then by the next day the speeds go down. They should be investigated for speed throttling. They intentionally lower your speed to give more people bandwidth. Until you complain, and it goes up for 24 hours. We cancelled and went with another company.

Love the service , but they are getting a little crazy with the prices ....175$ for a basic package and up. Which is ridiculous..they are makinh to where people cam barely afford to have cable these days,.they need to offer a basic package just regular channels from 1- 75 and set a base rate...100$ or so....this why so many people end up not having the cable or cant pay the bill. Customer service is hit or miss. overall it was a horrible choice to switch to Grande to save a twenty bucks. Internet service is very intermittent. I pay for 300 mbps and average between 6-20mbps. does have bursts on occasion where it will get up to 200s but few and far between. and If you have wireless devices forget it. Their routers that they provide are sub par. The response you will get for telling them that your only getting 6mbps on wireless devices is a joke. (yes I do understand that wireless isnt as good as direct connect however it shouldnt drop down 290mbps.) I do understand how speed works and how wireless can be effected. Overall I would not recommend this company, spend the extra 20 bucks and go with fiber.

I mostly post positive reviews.. but these guys were just badl. I was a loyal customer of grande for over 10 years and was a very easy customer. Paid bills never complained and referred grande as I did not know any better.Beware of the yearly rate increases. The fines and fees they bill your account. The free modem they promise you they charge you for. They will find anyway or anything to bill you for. Poor customer service. check your speed test as they power you below the speed agreed. I returned my equipment and wanted to clear my account on the spot they said they would mail me a bill. I do not recommend stay away. You can spend hours with customer service and get nothing accomplished. Moved to AT&T for the last few months now and they are 10 X better! I still have a bad taste for grande and it will be very difficult to ever remove.

I love Grande, its the best internet service Ive ever had. Very rarely have outages. You cant beat them on the price of there speeds in this area. Only downfall is it isnt available in all areas of town. 7 years ago I was told they would be expanding to cover all of Corpus Christi, and here 7 years later they still havent. Makes it hard to find a place to live if you want to keep them as a provider. Their customer service is fast and dependable which doesnt happen often with cable and internet companies!

We have been customers of Grande for 10 years, and have been using only Internet connection service. The price was not increasing before this year or was increasing a little. After they had introduced a new system, our Internet service has become Bundled package and the price has been increased 17% . No explanations were given. I had to call myself. The explanation of supervisor about why the price raise was happening now and hadnt been happening previous years dint have any logic. I was explained that actually they will be raising the price for our service every year (it hadnt been happening before) until it reaches the full price. We have been customers for 10 (ten) years! I consider this is not fair way to run business and explanations of raising price being unreasonable. Id give Zero star to Grande. Im going to shop for other provider.

I had Time Warner for years because they were the monopoly, but I finally had enough. I am thrilled with Grande. When you call you get right through to someone who is actually knowledgable and trying to help you. They are one of the very few customer service departments that I dont dread calling. The product is good however the service leaves a lot to be desired. When trying to get hooked up it proved to be somewhat difficult and then could never reach the person that sold me the service ever again. Send emails to corporate and never got anything done with it. I went into the local office and stood in line for a good while and visited with the lady which apologized but there was still no fix.

Not sure who answers the 1844 number to help but she shouldn’t be a customer service rep. Very short tempered and rude. She is even mono tone when thanking you for your “service to grande”. Completely must hate her job. There service sucks. The equipment that they use works for a few days and when you call the back to fix it they want to charge you 55.00. and say its you who broke it. At the same time they are trying to over charge you like they did me 190.00 and it took 2 months until they gave me credit not my money back but credit. I should of stayed with Spectrum...

Update. David out of the San Marcus call center fixed the billing issues and made everything right within 20 minutes of calling me. He was very professional and was able to keep me as a customer. Grande customer service rep agreed to a lower rate to get closer to what spectrum was offering for about half of what Grande charges for the same speed. They werent able to match that price but offered a faster speed for about $13 more. The CSR rep stated I would need to take my modem in and exchange it for the faster speeds. 3 months later Im reviewing my bill and see they not only did they not give me the rate they told me, they actually went up $20 a month on my bill to over $100 a month for what they advertise for $59. I called trying to fix the billing issue and was told I wouldnt get the rate quoted unless I swapped modems which was never told to me by the CSR. They offered a $10 credit. Easy way to lose a customer and someone who has sent 100s of people to grande as a Broker who often gets asked which internet company to use.

I recently got service with Grande, the package I chose was a basic package for $54 a month I received my bill it was $124!!!!!!! The fees Im being charged for service are just as much as my bill!! I thought when I paid the rate quoted I was paying for the service but now there are added service fees for different channels!! So instead of the $54 plus tax its $54+ fees+ taxes so what should be around $70 bucks a month is almost double the amount!! Its ridiculous!
