Great Gym for the family. No complaints except closing at 7 on Sat. and Sun. Way too early.

This place has something for everyone! Personally i like the classes, love the sauna, hottub, and cold bath. Friendly atmosphere and lots of variety for workouts. Only downside is its pricey unless you qualify for a discount, but I recommend this place to anyone!

The trainers are very polite and patient with every individual that comes thru the door. The atmosphere is pleasant and the vibe is always cheerful. I would recommend said place for those interested in exercise and fitness.

I love it here I have been a member for years I enjoy the massages which are a great deal. The cycling class i enjoyed sprint but I also enjoy rpm. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The instructors are amazing so are the personal trainers. Its a fun amazing place that gives you great results

Absolutely love this club and all it has to offer. There is no one-size-fits all at this gym, they have equipment/weights for lifting, a large amount of cardio equipment, tennis, pickleball, fitness classes, spa services, gymnastics and swim lessons for kids, and a wonderful kids club. My children actually beg to go to the gym so they can play in the kids club. I have really enjoyed working out here and trying something new with the fast track tennis program.

Having my personal trainer carefully evaluate my needs has literally saved my life, not once, but twice now!

My whole family enjoy working out here. Friendly and welcoming environment. Great variety of equipment and facilities. The pool area as alos great too. My son enjoys going swimming and my husband and I enjoy the hot tub.

The Athletic Club is the BEST Corpus Christi has to offer. Friendly staff, very clean remises and equipment as well as a wide selection of fitness equipment and along with multiple piece of equipment so no waiting line. Regardless of your fitness level or goals, the Athletic Club is their to assist you have a healthier life and stay in shape.

I guess I should level my expectations with - this is Corpus and the nicest gym in town is a giant metal building. Every review which says this gym is so nice needs to experience a LifeTime Fitness or VillaSport.The whole facility is outdated (dark colors, dark wood, damp feeling), and the locker room smells like old people/wet carpet/litter box. Its absurd to have to pay $1.50 a day for a locker on top of membership when every other gym Ive been to in the last decade has upgraded to free keypad locks (even my old neighborhood YMCA in Houston had free keypad lockers). As a consequence of the old school charge & key system, there are people in the cardio and weight areas lugging around duffle bags and taking up space.Most gyms have crossfit rigs/pods where you can get a whole workout in and functional fitness turf area. This gym has a small area of that in a separate room - but again charges for it on top of membership, and its only available with a reservation. There are limited rowing machines, benches and medicine balls and the flow is very hodge-podge from the locker rooms to classrooms.I wish Corpus had a bright, clean modern gym. The nearest LifeTime is San Antonio and I doubt theyll expand to here.

This is hands down the best gym in Corpus. Pros: They have: free weights, strength training machines: cardio machines, racquet ball courts, tenis courts, indoor track, indoor pool with lanes, open indoor pool, Studios with classes, sauna, Jacuzzi, cool dip, steam room, personal trainers, classes, nice clean locker rooms and probably Im forgetting a few things.Cons: I wish they stayed open later. Even with as big as they are it can get crowded. This place is pricey.

Fraud Alert!This place is worse than the satire depictions of gyms on TV. They seem to think they can tack months on to a contract whenever the mood strikes, then steal money from people by charging a card they refuse to remove from their system.Try to get Donna Casey on the phone. Ha! Never going to happen.Cancel is writing? They ignore it.Move away and give appropriate notice? They ignore it.All in all Id say they are pretty much a sweaty bunch of crooks. The place also smells like a homeless body buider.

This club is a great place to train. I must offer the caveat that our local pandemic imposes a slight worry about training there; it is nothing certain, just a bit to worry about. There are a bit to be confused about, but this disease is just like that--you have to wonder.

Clean and plenty of work out equipment. There is an CrossFit area that is off limits for some reason....

We are required to wear a facemask to come in but its a choice to wear it to work out, obviously in the showers nobody wears it, or in the pool or at the jacuzzi, not to mention that cloth masks or neck gators do nothing against Covid-19 nobody is wearing N-95 masks, how long are we really going to let other people to dictate rules that doesnt make sense.I went back to the Athletic Club on my own risk knowing I can get infected paying the same amount and thats my choice, but if I have no mask, and you are trying to sell me one in order for me to get in that is ridiculous.

Must say I do love this place! It has so much to offer, 2 pools, one is an excellent lap pool, the other is for the group exercises and swimming, then there’s the steam room and the ice bath, this place has literally everything! I love the classes! And everything there is in great condition. Al the equipment and machines work fabulously!

As someone who started off as a member of CCAC and then eventually working for the company for over a year, the experience I had was absolutely wonderful and everyone at the gym lives by the motto of family. Even returning as a guest (with new staff) 2 years after leaving company I was greeted with the biggest smile at the Front Desk by not only the staff but also the members, that goes on to show you how outstanding not only the customer/business appreciation is but just the club overall is somewhere people just want to be. Glad to have been apart of the CCAC family and I cant wait to be a member when I move back! Also shout out to Lisa, Monica, and Ashley for being an amazing upper management team!

Great facilities, services and trained staff. Its pretty pricey but its valuable

We wear masks throughout the facility and can inly remove it while situated at one of the stations if needed. Sanitized bottles with sanitizing spray and towels are available once you check in the front door to wipe down your station. Also has a person that sanitizes and cleans up. Its good to have that friendly person at all times instead of just cleanup after the facility shuts down.

I’m glad to have my membership here. They have these different workout classes you can do that come with your membership and they are great to take advantage of. All the instructors are great, my favorites to do class with are Anne Marie, April & Debra. They are friendly and answer your questions and help you learn. Everything is clean here, I mean everything....equipment, restrooms, pools and all housekeeping staff are really kind as well. I had my daughters birthday party here and Gabe was the special events coordinator and he does a great job as well! They have a steam room, sauna, hot tub, tennis courts, pools and so much more. Oh and you can shower here and they have shampoo and body wash for you. There are always fresh clean towels as well, I’m glad I let go of my Freedom Fitness membership and joined here!

Has all the amenities may be a bit overboard on all the tennis courts especially the space outside. Does not have a indoor basketball court.. if they had one it would be a 5*. Plus at the rate they charge their members they should match the services as a lifetime fitness. Update: Changed to 5* everyone here from staff on down has been great! And yes .. they still need a full indoor basketball court!! 😝

There is a lot of options here for membership. Military/veterans/disabled and corporate have some different options. This place has 2 pools and a jacuzzi and a wet sauna. It is clean and the staff has been very friendly. They also run different specials if you dont want to commit to a yearly contract. There is a decent sized indoor track, tennis courts, and they have massage packages.

Very amazing staff, and they’re military friendly! Highly recommend this gym as it literally has everything you’d need to get a good workout in! Most definitely recommending this gym to all of my family and friends.

Wife and I had membership for many years. Enjoyed it. 140.00 month (with lockers). Had not been in a year because of an injury. CCAC wanted to charge me 5.00 to take grand baby swimming. Canceled my membership. Technically CCAC was justified but poor business decision. Not only did they lose the 5.00 but ultimately 1,700.00 a year.

I have worked out in gyms from over 40 years in a few different countries. This is as good as it gets. Great staff, programs and equipment.

This is the nicest gym I have ever been to. Exceptionally clean with superb employees. Everybody is so nice and helpful and positive... what a fresh of breath air !!

EXCELLENT FACILITY. Let me start by saying I did not end up signing for a membership here BUT It was only since the location was not convenient to me in terms of my commute to work and home. With that being said, the staff, equipment, and cleanliness are top notch. I came in on a guest pass since the gym I signed up for limited their hours on a holiday (understandable). I thoroughly enjoyed my workout and liked the family friendly atmosphere. If I lived closer, I would have definitely signed up here. Special shout out to Lindsey Gatz for showing me this vast and awesome facility.

This place is amazing. I wish we had anything like this in my hometown. I went for a week, and purchased the temporary membership. I was nervous to pay almost $40 for a week, but it was worth it. The desk staff, trainers, fitness instructors, and communication desk employees were friendly and helpful. The purchase took only a few minutes. It is GIGANTIC and offers a ton of classes. I am not a fan of the black and gray color scheme, as it makes the interior a bit dark and dated, but the people are the bright spot. There are all levels of fitness and interest represented. The class members were so friendly, they even invited me to join a tennis team. I did classes in the Mind Body Studio, Studio A, and even got a free pass to try the Pilates Reformer. Wow!

Love it here.. My daughter and step daughter love the gymnastics program.. The instructors are great.. Jade is so awesome perfect attitude.. Member services is so great.. So many great things to do here.. Youll love it..

Best gym in Corpus Christi. Especially great for families! Tons of classes and activities for everyone to enjoy. Monthly membership price is a little high IMO but well worth it if youre serious about working out and getting in shape.

My first time at this location was to watch a tennis match. The grounds are nice and well kept, and the staff is nice.Beware I was one of two people to fall in the matter of about thirty minutes when entering the track. There was not a single sign saying watch your step, or any way for me to know about the drop off.I sprained my ankle, and now Im trying to find out if I may have fractured my tibia.

This place never ceases to amaze me. My family has been members for over 13 years. When COVID-19 closed down all the gyms back in March, we were beyond sad as those were uncertain times. CCAC continued supporting their members throughout social media by providing free classes and moral support. We went back today for the first time and the changes were impressive.They provided the most welcoming, professional, safest environment you can imagine. Thank you CCAC for always doing and being THE BEST❤️

Won’t let you cancel even if you pay a cancellation fee. They didn’t tell me that when I signed up. The lady who “helped” us was really rude and flat. Will be cancelling as soon as possible and won’t be going back.**update: I already had my contract cancelled several days before the “owner reply” below. The lady in the back left office with red hair was very rude to my father and myself. She wouldn’t let me talk to the manager and said “she will tell you the same thing.” I don’t understand why I am now being told something different. I don’t understand why a gym would need such and iron clad contract. It’s a gym. Regardless, things change in people’s lives and to be treated less than at this establishment was abhorrent.

Its a great gym but expensive. I paid $15 per day while on vacation and they did not have a 3-5 day pass to make it any better. A family pays $120 a month but the day rate is outrageous.

This gym is amazing! If you could imagine everything you ever wanted at a gym and then some this place is for you. They even have a bathing suit dryer...oh my goodness! The people that work here are so very kind. The people I met in my very first Zumba class were so kind as well. I cant say enough good stuff about it!!! 😁

Best gym I’ve ever been to. Been going since I was a child and it only gets better. Unfortunately I’m not living in Corpus anymore, but I always come here when I go back on weekend trips and there’s always something new or upgraded. Always do clean, and rarely do you ever see a machine there that isn’t working, and if it is, it’s fixed promptly. There’s so many options here. It’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and I’d never regret a penny spent here!

I vacation down in the Corpus Christi area. I was able to get a temporary pass for the week for about $35. For what they offer at the gym it is well worth the price. I really enjoyed the spin classes. It is a huge facility. I only gave 4 stars because I wanted to try the Body Pump class but the instructor didnt ask if there were any new participants. I was left to figure it out on my own so I ended up not taking the class. It was a little intimidating, but in the spin classes the instructors asked if there were any new people and they helped me set up my bike. Depending on what youre looking for in the way of a workout, check this club out and see if its right for you. I will definitely come back next time Im on vacation.

I love this gym so much ! Ive been coming since late November and its just so amazing the staff and other gym goers are just so nice !!! They are so encouraging and it just makes me feel so welcomed ! If you are nervous or never been to a gym before I suggest this one!!! They never make you feel less than a person ! They actually make you feel equal 😭😭!

This is a great place if you have a family. The daycare is wonderful, no employee turnover, extremely nice and very helpful. Great group of workers and I enjoy the gym itself too.

One of my favorite workout places. They have great facilities however the sauna is not working and I need the sauna to be working when I go for my usual experience.

2 swimming pools, running track, tennis courts, lots of exercise equipments, drinking water , towels available, well maintained, easy parking. I enjoy my workout here.

Nice place, has lots to offer, kid area while you workout too, only issue I have is its not 24 hours(it should be for the price you pay) like many other gyms..... I could understand closing the pool area and some other other areas at later times. but not the Basic Floor. You wouldnt need that many employees to keep that going.

Been going there for close to 8 years. New owners made changes, some good some bad. I like to workout after 9, when most of the teenagers leave.I used to be able to use the steam and sauna rooms right until they closed at 10:30. Now they turn off both rooms at about 10:10. I dont know if thats a new policy or what.

Overall this is a very nice gym. Clean, well maintained equipment, lots of amenities. Not bad as long as you dont mind paying for those amenities.

Absolutely LOVE CCAC!!! It’s my fav place to bring the kids for over a year. They go to the kids club for 2 hours, which is ample time for me to workout and shower. It’s always very clean, with tons of clean towels. Plus it also smells clean, which isn’t easy for a gym! Lol. But everyone is very polite and folks are patient with each other when waiting for a machine. Summertime it’s the most packed I’ve noticed, especially the kids club. But they’ve done summer clubs (tumbling, tennis, etc) but wow they’re great at keeping the kids entertained and expending energy. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!

The athletic club is pretty amazing... classes every day, all day. Several swimming options (pool, lap pool, hot tub, cold dip), tennis and racket courts, countless machines, jogging track made from special flooring and services like personal training, massages, ect.Good great hours, too, they open really early in the morning and stay open through the evening.Also, they did some remodeling and its really pretty!

I love this gym , from Freedom fitness to this is a HUGE upgrade. I just really really REALLY wish they would be open later and it would just be Perfect!

Weve been using the Athletic Club for almost 20 years. Staff is always friendly, classes are great. They are constantly upgrading. Our family enjoys the indoor track and both swimming pools. I like the steam room, sauna, and spa.
