This was the first time Ive ever been to Evins Glass Srrvice and let me just say they did not disappoint! I got a quote quickly, was able to make an appointment for the very next day at a time that was extremely convenient for my schedule. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my appointment and the gentleman greeted me at the counter and immediately asked for my keys and got started. Oh my gosh, what excellent service. We have a Big Motorhome with a one piece windshield and one side popped out and really scared us. The Service Guy Darren came to us and had it popped back in and liquid bead it within 20 minutes. He was very informative explaining how these big windshields work and how common it happens. I called Nissan for a windshield replacement and they directed me to Evins Glass. I called Evins Glass to Schedule an appointment and they Quoted me $735.Being frugal I called around. Safelite quoted me $421.I took it to Safelite and dropped it off. 25 min later my phone rang and my truck was ready, they also Vaccumed the inside and wiped down my interior!!!Amazing Customer Service and almost half price of Evins Glass. So my Question is, Evins Glass why do you charge nearly double the price???

Called to inquire about a 30 x 17.75” glass top for a table, and the gentleman on the phone could not have been nicer and explained to me my options.I went ahead and proceeded with my order for this piece of glass and picked it up 48 hours later.I am overall very pleased with the customer service, but I am less than thrilled with the cut of glass. The corners weren’t nice, 90° degree corners and were all rather rounded and uneven. It looked more like a random remnant than the custom, polished piece of glass I was expecting.Given these are for interior design purposes, I’ll have to find another vendor because the craftsmanship was sloppy.

I could not be more unhappy with Evins Glass. My boyfriend was generous enough to gift me a new windshield for my birthday. I had been saying that I need to call Evins glass and get a quote for a new windshield so he decided to go against all recommendations from friends and go here because thats what I wanted. After my windshield was installed (on the 26th) I was incredibly happy, it looked wonderful. I left town and left my car at home (parked in a garage) for the next three days on Monday July 1st I was driving to work when the side panel of my windshield blew off! I called them and they said no problem we can fix that! Then next day they came to my office to fix my car only to waste my time by not bringing the all of the necessary parts. They said we will go back to the shop and come back. After not hearing from them I decided to call back the next day and they said they couldnt fix it until Friday. Okay fine, while they are fixing my car I specifically asked them to check the other side because I didnt want to have to deal with this again. They said we checked it out already and its good no problems there. Just kidding, July 17th the other side came off as well!! After leaving a message with a receptionist for someone to call me back about repairing my windshield AGAIN, I waited until 2 the next day before calling back. I was informed that someone could come out before 8AM or 9AM to make the repair. I gave them my number and asked them to call me when they arrived. Less than twenty minutes later they called not me but my boyfriend who I was on the phone with, to say that they didnt have the parts in stock. That they could get them and be at there around 10AM. After waiting and not hearing from them, I showed up and they said we still havent gone to get the part from the dealership. After waiting 2 hours I had to go and ask if my car was finished, no one came to tell when they were finished.

Evins staff all were very very helpful helping us install windstorm windows and a storefront door in our new office/shop. Went to get my windshield replaced. At 10 am they told me they closed at noon but if I got my truck there they would have it replaced today. Got there at around 10:30 and they took it in right away and it was completed before noon. They did a great job on the replacement as well. Hopefully I wont have to use them for this reason again but if I do I will.

We had an emergency repair scheduled on our RV while we were traveling and Evins was great about fitting us into their schedule. Once we set up we realized it wasnt a new crack and we cancelled the appointment, but they were great to work with!

Called and spoke with Dallas the sales representative today for a quote for a replacement windshield, given a quote twice the price of other leading competitors. This individual tried to tell me what was on my auto, while looking directly at it and upcharges. Less than professional at best. The kicker is I have several vehicles needing windshield replacement. It will Not be at this place!

My boss sent me to Evins Glass this morning. I had never been there before. I am a female that works for a local construction company and I am sent on errands quite frequently to places I have never been. I often experience walking in and no one acknowledges me, offers to help or even greets me.Today, I arrived at Evins glass and the parking lot was full. I found a parking spot and went in. Immediately, I was greeted with smiling faces by the counter staff. They were friendly, helpful and all happy. I could see why their parking lot was full. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes.Before the invoice was even finished the glass was cut and ready on the counter for me. What a great place! Very easy to work with, initially. I needed some fogged windows replaced on my house so I could sell and they came to give me a quote and either measured and replaced the wrong window, or completely missed one. The buyers of my house asked for a quote to have the one missed window replaced so I could cut them a check at closing. Evans would not honor the labor price and it ended up costing me almost $70 more to my buyers. The crew that came to replace them was very nice and quick, but pretty disappointed in the office not willing to work with me on that mistake.

The guys always do a great job. With all the gravel trucks on SPID Im constantly getting my windshield dinged. They can always find a way to to work me in no matter how busy they are. Really appreciate all their hard work. Highly recommend them.

I was in need of a window replacement on my RV. I had tried an RV outfit and they wanted a small fortune to replace the glass. I called Evins, and they were able to replace the glass onsite within a couple weeks. Its a specialty piece, not common stock. They charged just barely more than the RV company was going to charge for the shipping of their glass. Easily saved $700. And they left the place cleaner than they found it too. Nice job!

Really disappointed. We ordered four new windstorm-rated windows through Evins Glass. It took 6 weeks for them to arrive. The guys came out to install and the windows were the wrong size, so someone measured wrong. We waited another month for the correct windows to arrive. They were installed with no problem. Since then, Ive repeatedly called to be put in touch with a windstorm engineer so we can have the windows inspected. I was told someone would get with me to provide that information - never happened. Beyond frustrated. I dont like writing bad reviews. But Ive tried to give them every opportunity to fix the problem.

Great place, way better than Aransas and Rockport glass shops lately. They do window tinting as well. My truck turned out great.

The Monday before Thanksgiving I had a rock hit my windshield in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. It made the typical rock ding. On Tuesday I called Evins glass and was told I could bring it over any time. I specifically asked if it could be done in the cold weather and they assured me that it was no problem. I sent my son over with the Jeep and he showed the rock ding to them and they once again assured him that it was no problem. He asked about doing it in the cold weather also and they told him no problem. Well they took it around and a guy apparently new to doing this promptly broke the windshield. His co worker came over and said....yep! You can’t do it on this kind of weather. Another guy tried to drill holes to stop the crack but it cracked further every-time they touched it. My son was pretty stressed over it all and the guys in the shop kept laughing at him. A manager of some kind came out of nowhere and tried to tell my son that the windshield was already cracked when it came in there and that we were told that there was a danger of this happening before we drove over from Sinton. None of which is true. I had my son drive it back so I could look at it and it is really bad. So I called and left a message for Dave. No return call was received. My brother in law claimed to know them well and he called over and was told that Dave already had the message and would call. I want to add here that I have been in business over here in Sinton for 46 years and have used Evins Glass since their early days. We’ve had trailer glass, tempered glass, windshields replaced and yes, about 15-20 windshield dings repaired by his company with no problem. But his treatment of my son by his employees was inexcusable and he has had a full week now since this happened to call me back and hasn’t. Not a problem Brother Dave, the good folks over at Safeflite will be over to take care of your mess and you and I will be done for good.

If there was an option for ZERO stars, theyd get less. I am amazed this company can survive. A travesty of errors, rework, delays, excuses, and just flat out sorriness. And despite NUMEROUS attempts to have the owner contact us...he never did. We JUST ran the crew off for the last time--EVER! I cant wait for the ownership to contact us...but not holding my breath!

Terrible workmanship and zero customer service!!! Hired Evins to do all the glass in our new build. Paid a small fortune for glass counter toppers - the fit is awful with gaps large enough to put my fingers in and spots everwhere underneath the glass. The glass pony walls in guest bathrooms are the wrong size, and after 6 months and 4 tries they still couldnt get the right size panels for our master bath. Gave up and called someone else. Evins did nothing from a customer service standpoint...no offer to re-do the poor work, nor discount. Shameful.

So High-Five for local business. I called Safelite and they werent going to be able to fix my window until Monday the 25th.. I called Evans Glass Service, they had the right window for my truck, they worked everything out with State Farm and had two technicians at my house within the hour replacing my window (on a Saturday!)... gotta love locally owned family companies.

DO NOT EVER USE EVINS GLASS. Very unprofessional and completely unreliable. They never submitted my commercial order with their vender. Even when Chris Evins offered and promised to take care of the problem himself, he never ensured the order was placed, never answered emails or phone calls. I had to go down to the store front to get any answers. Finally at the end of the third month when I again went to the store, he calls the vendor in my presence and finds out they never put the order in production.
