Terrible management. I used these guys to change my brakes and rotors. My rotors completely rusted after 1 month. When i took it back they told me their rotors dont come coated, i then asked if all of their customers whos rotors are replaced rust that way after a month and his reply was YES. Wow..... Steve (manager) made NO effort to make it right other than I would have to pay more money to get it fixed. Pretty much special order new coated rotors to install. SMH...... never using them again. I suggest you dont either.

Steve was a great help and also welcoming. Got me in and out in NO time! Even took the time out to show me that my coolant was low.

I was charged twice and then treat rude when I ask for my money back they try to lie and say they only charged me once. Trying to refuse my refund when I have bank statement showing posted transaction twice oneUnite apart for the same amount. They already over charge make you wait 1 1/2 for a 20 min oil change then try to steal from you. Go anywhere but here I might have to get my legal aid for my money back Smdh.

They tried to charge $250 for an A/C recharge when the posted price is different. Midas has slowly been disfranchised through individual branches taking advantage of people and this one needs to be added to that group as well.

My car had thousands of dollars in damage caused by the lift at this location when they installed an exhaust on my car. After spending what seems forever trying to get their insurance to cover the damages they have refused to do so. I will now have to take this situation into legal action. The absolute worst experience. Hopefully something like this doesnt happen to other customers but just remember you were warned of how this company operates. It goes to show how they value their customer relations..... if you do use this place take pictures of the sides of your vehicle and maybe watch the car get put on the lift.

The manager was extremely nice and professional. He gave me some of the best advice ever “You should take your truck to 4 Wheel Specialty”. That’s where he takes his truck. Which is what I wish I did before I gave them way too much money for work that took 3 visits to accomplish.

Well Ive been there three different timesFor brakes and front suspension ..so far everything has worked out good and these guys dont mess around..they get to it and get it done ... Now they are my go to guys for mantenance of my truck. I would for sure recommend these guys ..Its the Midas at SPID and Kostoryz Corpus Christi, TX..

After years of not having car, when having a horrible experience at Mike Shaw Kia over and over again. Decided to come back to the people I know and trust. Will not honor my Groupon Certificate. Saying Groupon sells for what they want. Well I see that as a lawsuit. Groupon would have to have Midas approval to even offer discounts. But hey ok cause I found the service I need at Big O Tires in 5 points and the guys there are Top Notch!!!!

Great service. I took both vehicles in to the shop at different times of the day for state inspection. The guy behind the counter offered my daughter and I a bottle of water both times we were in the shop. I there was a small wait time due to other customers but it went by very quick. I will bring my business to this shop. Keep up the good work

Bait and switch. Came in for 18 oil change Rudy then told me it would be 60. I argued with him and told him this was false advertising since he REFUSED to do it. He started yelling at me for having an attitude and got in my face. I will never step foot back in here.

Even though theyre bays were filled with vehicles, they got to the vehicle brought to them in a relatively short time, considering I showed up without a scheduled time. They were professional and courteous.

Just walked in there literally 20 minutes ago. Was greeted in a rude manner by whatever gentleman is working there today. And thats because I called before I went and got the information I needed regarding the coupon BEFORE I even got there. I asked one question and was talked to as if my business didnt matter. I just walked out and went to a local garage....which I should have done in the first place. And they are already working on my car. Never again Midas.

All the guys are nice but there is one guy that is super friendly I don’t know if he is the manager but he is really nice and I never feel pressured with them trying to up sell me on stuff. I would recommend them.

I had a service tech look at my a/c on my truck, all he did was use a screwdriver to stop my fan clutch. He then gave me a $1700 quote to fix it(fan clutch, recharge and labor. I didnt believe him so I took it off myself. It was still good. It was actually a leak in the condensor.

Purchased a Groupon coupon for a full synthetic oil change on September 1, 2020. The franchisee (Marco) would not accept the couponsaid they do not honor Groupon coupons even though they advertise on their website. The man was indifferent and not courteous. I called their corporate office and filed a complaint.

They were courteous and very helpful.

Great people work here they just completed a brake job on both axles on my truck, little pricey but for peace of mind. Oh and they have great coffee free to customers and very clean restroom.

I showed up after they said come on down on the phone, for an oil change, and when I got there they said Id have to wait three hours before the car even gets a bay in the garage, so I split and paid eighty bucks at Minit Man. From now on its DIY with a kit from Advance.

I have been a customer for a few years, and have always been very pleased with there service.. The guys at Midas are very informative. Some people just dont understand preventative maintenance. Id rather Midas tell me something needs to be adressed then to have an unwanted surprise. Keep up the good work MIDAS

Horrible experience got ripped off told it was gona take a couple of hours took the whole day. Charged me 400 to basically fix nothing my steering was still shaking. Should’ve taken to dealership instead. Wouldn’t even let me use a lousy coupon. These type of places are scammers workers don’t know what there doing. The person helping me gave me a poor explanation. Anybody smart should not get there oil changed or tires done there either. They will rip you off veteran or not.

Terrible experience, never going back! Stay away from Midas! I was charged over a thousand dollars upfront for repairs. I had to take my vehicle back 5 times and its still not fixed. They refuse to refund my money even though they never fixed the problem. I have been calling management for weeks without a return call. I didnt think I would need a lawyer for vehicle repairs. Stay away from Midas!

Fixed my ABS system at a great price. Had estimates at Brake Check and local auto repair shop. The lowest of them was $300 higher

Horrible they took my money and didnt fix the problem they charged me 249 dollars for oil change and spark plugs knowing good and well my coils were bad told me all four were Ive talk to four other places and all are saying thats impossible I cant even drive my care Im too upset never again calling now to see how can I go about getting my money back

I went there to have my rotors machined. The service was slow and incompetent. If they couldnt scam you out of paying more for work you dont need, or if they just didnt want to do the work, they would make up an excuse to turn you away. While I was waiting for hours for them to even look at my truck an elderly handicapped man came in who simply wanted freon. They treated him badly and told him a completely outrageous price until he finally left. The work on my truck didnt get done either.

These people really seem like they dont know what they are doing in terms of how to manage time. I went in on what they called a slow day for a wheel alignment and they said no problem well be dont in an hour or less! Me three hours later was extremely upset when they informed that they would need an additional 45min to get started. This was a very time consuming and bad experience for me. I wish I had looked at all these reviews before coming here. 😐

This has to be one of the worst places I have ever took a vehicle to get serveced Ever!!! Went to have a rear axle repaired and what was a simple fix turned in to a complete nightmare. They not only claimed to fix but thr part they fixed went out weeks later and when i went back to ask them them to diagnose the issue they want to charge me double to amount to fix and the insured parts they said was insured they said it was not the issue with it that time but i had it looked at from 3 other repair shops they all said it was that part. So long story short i will never go back never recommend any work there. I really hope some one will read this and reconsider the true meaning of valued work cause you cant gwt it there... Very displeased with Midas crooks shop...

Scam. Avoid this place. Went for a cheap oil change with a coupon from HEB. It took 2 hours, with my truck hidden in the farthest bay. When I got it back the emergency brake release was shattered, as if the kid doing the work couldnt distinguish it from the hood release. The next day the truck died on Doddridge and check engine light came on. Replaced fuel filter, air filter and both o2 sensors. Strange how the problem was a brand new slice in the vacuum line...

Took my car here for a “ free ac check” they told me I would need a diagnostics, charged me $110 for it, told me it needed a fan and wanted to charge me $500, the fan was $130 and I got a mechanic to fix the fan and wasn’t even the fan to begin with ! Do not trust these people

I watched these guys work on my truck for about an hour in a four hour period. I was charged for the entire time. They removed my plugs and charged an extra $180 because they broke two of them. Between removing them and putting them back in they did about a dozen oil changes and tried to upcharge every one of them. From a rusty oil plug to an entire diagnostic dye procedure to check for a leak. The older or younger you were the worse the bill was. An elderly lady with an autistic grandchild was charged for a dye test and told to bring the car back the following day and to expect up to $1200 in charges. I pulled her aside and told her to go somewhere else. Total crooks with no shame. I ended up with an $800 bill to change spark plugs. Close to $40 a plug for a $4 platinum plug that they tried to say was the only plug would fit my truck. The manager said that even though the sign has three levels of price, its outdated because there are no more plug wires in modern cars and the price is driven by plug type. 110 percent ripoff. No response from the corporate office. This place should be shut down.Because they wasted three hours and had to rush to conveniently finish minutes before close, they also left my CAI air filter loose with missing hardware and left a pair of needlenose pliers wedged about 3 inches from the fan.

Fast professional service, friendly staff, highly recommend midas for all your automotive needs. Will definitely come back again.

I brought my truck to have the oil changed. No one called to let me know when it was ready and when I called, they suggested I leave it overnight. When I got to the shop, the tech informed me he had taken one of my business cards out of my glove box for whatever reason (I cant imagine the reason). Then, a couple of weeks later, the oil started leaking from my truck; the filter was totally loose. I feel that the workers there were very incompetent and endangered my safety. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Had a family member go in for an oil change, on top of it taking 3 hours they only hand tightened the oil drain plug, being that Im ASE certified and also grove certified (Im a crane mechanic) my family member called me to diagnose an oil leak. Found the problem right away but it doesnt stop there. I, of course, did another oil change being these are the lowest people of the mechanic world, low and behold, no oil on the oil filter gasket and tightened using a filter wrench( the marks are very visable). I urge everyone to stay away from this location as this is not the only problem I have delt with leading back to them.

Being a cheapskate like myself I didnt want to pay labor charge but still had bad front end alignment when told the whole total for repairs. So like eryone one like me took it to that one friend to do it dirty cheap. After inspecting my vehicle they noticed that my tie rod was loose so I took it back to that friend to be recorrect and took it back midas. I live in Taft and drive to CORPUS every day seven days a week. They drove my car out from the parking lot almost out into the bay door when the tie rod fell off. They saved my life on highly recommended me to place the tie rod that just came. Midas made a customer for life. Thank you guys.

Very quick inspection.

My experience here was very disturbing. The Lube Technician who serviced my truck was a complete idiot. I went in for an oil change & tire rotation. My truck is 4wd with manual locking hubs on the front axles. From the very beginning I told the service writer that the technician needs to be sure and keep the center caps of my rims on the rear wheels when the tires are rotated otherwise my manual hubs on the front axles will be blocked making my 4wd unusable. This information apparently never got to the Technician because when the tires were rotated my front locking hubs were covered by the center cap of my rims. Needless to say after waiting over 2 HOURS for my service I had to wait even longer for them to take all the wheels back off my truck and move the center caps back to the rear wheels. Anyone who knows anything about 4wd vehicles would have known not to block the manual hubs, especially someone who does this type of work for a living. Additionally about 2 weeks after my oil change I lifted my hood to check my oil and noticed they never replaced my oil filler cap, little did I know I had been driving around for 2 weeks without this cap. If you decide to patronize this business you’ll need to watch over EVERYTHING they do and then double check their work before you leave which includes opening your hood and making sure nothing is missing because this establishment can’t be trusted. I would rather pay more money for faster & dependable service.
